Your glare and blade made the hairs on the back of my neck stand up straight and an anxious shiver runs up my back. What was happening? Out of fear and reflex my hands raise up in the air, proving myself innocent as I didn't want to get hurt, though curious as you don't even seem to care about my presence. After you walk up the stairs, my wide eyes follow your movements. No one else was here, I noticed, so there was no other choice for me to 'save' this place than to stop you - or at least try to.
