Try not to put too much pressure in your throw. You don't want to fling the ball at the backboard. Not that you were flinging it. But you threw it just a bit too hard.

Time to play some ball. *chuckles as she goes into the pantry and takes out a basketball the sound of it hitting the wooden floor echoing in the large gymnasium* *dribbles the ball to the basket and stands on the free throw line then shoots the ball missing the basket on the first try*
