@sevens I'm hoping this time around I can stay longer than like 3 days so hopefully I can say that I gave it a proper chance, even if the same thing happens to me and I lose muse even though lowkey city aus do have the potential to keep my interest. I think I like the freedom that comes with them lol.

Oh yeah for sure I don't even use tumblr anymore not even personally because it's just nonstop negativity. There's some nice people but they're hard to find. Ugh yeah I know! I'm glad I came back because now that I'm older and I've chilled out I know how to steer clear of the negativity and book it out of there if I get a whiff of drama lol plus I've been able to connect with old friends I had on here (aka u lol) and I've made new friends and it just feels like a fresh start. But I feel you on that, I rped on aff first then here then tumblr and now back here lmao

@littleoverboss that sounds similar to how i feel about the rp myself. like it's a nice rp, generally speaking, and the people there are pretty great, but like... yeah, i don't have the motivation to be there just yet. ;;;

you know, for a second, i forgot how drama ridden, drama addicted, and negative tumblr is in general. i can see what you mean about it now. rip. glad i got out of there when the getting was good. also glad you found a place to still rp and have fun bc i know it can be hard to do that. honestly, if it weren't for rpr, i probably wouldn't be roleplaying today.

I got my first review to do

YO I RECENTLY WAS IN THIS RP WHERE THE ADMIN WAS SUPER BIASED like it was a historical royals type rp right and I joined as a queen and legitimately they had a jungkook that was like 30 years old which I wasn't a fan of, I'm a firm believer that if you're going to alter your characters age, you have a five year limit in either direction but anYWAYS I mentioned to the admin I was plotting with that I was going to make my character kind of lowkey promiscuous and she would be having affairs behind the kings back but they actually told me I couldn't do that because it wasn't historically accurate??? Like okay first of all it is accurate but secondly I just couldn't stand how they were biased and allowed the jungkook to be exaggerated so much but my character couldn't be something that literally happened A LOT back then

@sevens Oh yeah once I joined and got to talk to them they were all really chill and I was actually surprised and how welcoming the whole rp was I mean a rp with those kind of stats and that many members you would expect it to be as nice as it is but everyone seems to really like it there so it was refreshing to see

Omg yes it was super aggressive, at least the people I came in contact with. I'm a pretty professional and "strict" admin I guess you could say, so I never let the rude anons or anything like that really get to me but everyone's just drama hounds and they jump on any excuse to berate you, it's just a really negative environment which is why I came back mostly

@littleoverboss i wasn't exactly intimidated of the people running it, but i was wary bc i didn't know them. like with certain rpers you can guess what they're like and go from there, but with them, at the time, i didn't know what i was dealing with. and i always have that fear of like... being in situations where it's like walking on eggshells with certain rpers, so i was cautious bc of that too. when i joined, i found that they were all pretty chill though so it was gucci.
i guess you have a point though. maybe people find it hard to relate to characters who aren't in their teens and twenties, so they just kinda float on over elsewhere. idk though.

lmao it's been a loooooooong while since i've been on tumblr for rping. never really understood it, but i didn't know it was aggressive. tumblr seems kinda chill to me idk. but things here can be forgiving yes.

Because honestly there's nothing that gets under my skin worse than an unprofessional or rude admin sobs

I feel like my strictest points of interest will be aesthetic and how the admins run it though for any review I do

I might ask forever dead if I can review them, because I really enjoy that rp but I can see where criticizes could be necessary for it if that makes sense

@sevens I've been eyeing it p much since it came out lol but before I was just too intimidated because back in the day the group of friends that runs it seemed idk.. like they were like hard to approach for me. But that was when I was still relatively new to rpr so a lot of people were like that for me. Buuut now that I'm back I'm like lol it they're just people. But ugh I know I mean i can understand that the majority of people on this site are younger and they like the idols/celebrities that are around their age, but I've never been one to shy away from someone because of the age of the character they play.

I'm not sure when I got so aggressive, it was probably during my tumblr rp days because you literally have to be aggressive in that scene. Here things are a little more forgiving so I probably need to chill a little lol

@littleoverboss i don't remember who i originally played there the first time i joined, but i also played a model lady who's name i'm forgetting, and dudley o'shaughnessy. this was YEARS ago and it was great, my time there, but i wasn't inspired to stay. i was thinking about rejoining again, but i'm holding off on that until i get the muse. and yeah, that makes sense. idk why people tend to like... not avoid people in their 30s and 40s but they tend to talk to them less and that makes me sad.

rip i hope it's not "dead" ;;; if it is, i'll go and try to revive it myself. but yeah, i always make sure to leave at least one little note saying i will ragequit replies if i get poked but i try to still be nice to people. like i don't have the heart to be full on aggressive with people when it comes to something like that, just passively so.

@sevens Really?? Who did you play? Also yeah I mean I get that men in their forties are not everyone's cup of tea, but at the same time I'm not asking really anyone to wanna my characters, ya know? Like I can do plots that aren't romantic or ty especially if the characters had a massive age gap.

Ugh yeah I went ahead and asked to come back, but I haven't seen the admins around much so I hope it's still alive? SAME THO the only problem is that I don't get passive aggressive, I just get aggressive. That's why I put a disclaimer on my ooc notes always like pls don't rush me I get stressed and then lose muse and then drop threads

@littleoverboss i was in illmatic before too! on a different account some years ago ;;;; idk tho city aus just seem kind of boring to me. maybe i'm just not creative enough to have fun in them or something but like... yeah. it's hard to get into the city au groove. and don't worry about being ignored. i'm sure someone will rp with you. i know it's a lot harder for older people to be recognized and rped with but it isn't impossible.

yesssss though i know! it's honestly great! like they really are a self paced rp and i appreciate that about them. i can't stand being urged to reply so frequently and honestly when people poke me i get passive aggressive and take even longer to reply because they did so. i hate that i am that way, but i also hate being poked so womp.

@sevens i joined before and stayed for like 2 days but irl i got busy so i had to go, plus i really rushed my last character and forced them to be edgy and i regret a lot of things i did just because i wanted so badly to be there. i actually like city aus, but it's so damn hard to keep the muse up for things like that ; i'm just a little worried because i tend to play older guys and i don't want my babes to be ignored because everyone wants those young model guys, ya know? idk though, i'll give most things a try at least once and i don't feel like i gave illmatic a good enough chance before i had to leave

ugh and no one rushes you for replies! that's my biggest issue, because i am hella slow at replies because i want them to be so good lol but i hate rps where you're constantly hounded for replies so that was a hecka plus for me, not to mention apartment aus are so underrated

the people at the apartment au are definitely nice! i like them a lot, but i don't spend as much time there as i should. ;;;; i owe replies there, so i don't want to appear until i get them done.
