Head of houses
must have been teaching for at least two years prior to obtaining the position and must have graduated from the house they are heading.Exceptions to this rule are canons and professors that graduated from another school, other then Hogwarts.
DEPUTY HEADMASTERS
must have been teaching at school for at least three years prior to obtaining the position as well as been a Head of House for at least one year.
HEADMASTERS must have been teaching at the school for at least ten years and must have been Deputy Headmaster for at least one year prior to obtaining the position.
Therefore Head of Houses have to be at least two years older then the age minimum for Professors , Deputy Headmasters must be between three to fife years older then the age minimum and the Headmaster at least ten years older.
The age mimimum to become a Professor or Staff member is set at 20 years of age.
