No matter f you are part of a professional quidditch team or one of the Hogwarts house team, this is how quidditch is played on here.
To keep things interesting and action packed with an unforseeable outcome, we decided to use the dice for this. This does not mean however that you do not have to post anything. We still want to see you write up at least one or two sentences for the action.
RULES FOR ALL
#01 We are going to hold two games per year eg Gryffindor vs Slytherin and Huffelpuff vs Ravenclaw and then for the second game Gryffindor vs. Hufflepuff and Slytherin vs. Ravenclaw. The team making the most points during those two games will win the House Cup.
#02 Even though we are rolling the dice to spice things up a bit, you still have to roleplay everything out, So make sure to read what is going on (eg. you can't take the quaffle without taking it from someone. even if someone says that they fumbled and it went to a random Slytherin Chaser, either you can be that Slytherin Chaser, or take it from them.)Make sure that your player only plays their position (ex. Chasers can't hit people with Bludgers and Seekers can't save goals). If they do, the other team will get a penalty shot.
#03 When a Bludger is about to hit someone, a Beater on their team has 3 days [72 hours] to post protecting them. If they don't hit the Bludger away within this time, the Bludger will injure the person. The dice will determine how bad the injury is [1-3 = minor {will sit out for 2 days [48 hours]}; 4-6 = major {will be sent to the Hospital Wing for at least the rest of the game [the rest is up to you to determine in character how long you want them to be in the hospital]}]. Bludgers may only be averted by Beaters.
#04 If the Quaffle is shot at the goal posts, the opposing Keeper has 3 days to respond. Only the Keeper can save the goal (not any other player on the team). If they do not post for 3 days [72 hours] after a Chaser has shot the Quaffle at them, the Quaffle will automatically go in and the Chaser will get a goal.
#05 Chasers need to pay particular attention to what's happening in the thread. If they illegally have the Quaffle without taking it, intercepting or being passed the Quaffle in roleplay [ex. if they enter the thread and say they have the Quaffle without saying how while someone else already has it], the other team will get a penalty shot on their Keeper. Also, if they hold the Quaffle for more than 5 days (without passing it or shooting it at the hoops), they will drop it. Chasers cannot travel the length of the pitch in only one post.

Roll 5: Loose the Quaffle
Roll 6: Shoot a goal
the BEATER DICE
Roll 1: Hit the Bludger
Roll 2: Pass the Bludger to your Teams other Beater
Roll 3: Miss the Bludger and nothing happens
Roll 4: Miss the Bludger and one of your teammates get's hit
Roll 5: Miss the Bludger and get hit yourself
Roll 6: Hit the Bludger and hit someone from the opposing team.

Roll 1: Protect the left goal
Roll 2: Protect the right goal
Roll 3: Protect the goal in the middle
Roll 4: Pass the Quaffle to Chaser one
Roll 5: Pass the Quaffle to Chaser two
Roll 6: Pass the Quaffle to Chaser three
the sEEKER dice
The dice for the seeker is a bit different to the one of the other team members. You have to wait until your team members have reached 40 posts for the game. Only then may you start to roll the dice. And then in order to actually catch the snitch you need to Roll the 6!
Of course you can help your team reaching the 40 posts first by writing replies yourself. But be careful, you can not make more then 5 posts before your team has made it to the 40 posts.
Roll 6: catch the snitch and get 150 points for your team.
the SCORE CHART
CHASERS - by scoring a goal with a quaffle - 10 points
BEATERS - by knocking someone off their broom with a bludger - 15 points
KEEPERS - by defending a goal - 20 points
SEEKERS - by catching the golden snitch - 150 points
