@choi minki Yixing grabbed his cup also, bringing it with him and tossing it in the trash. "Okay you agreed, and you knew what movie we were seeing" he laughed and shook his head. "Next time you choose the movie, okay?" As they made their way out of the cafe, he took in the fresh air, smiling to himself. He walked to his car, with the other under his arm. Opening the passenger side, he gestured for Minki to enter, smiling politely. "After you" he snorted.
@zhang yixing Minki laughed as he stood up then and smiled at him. Grabbing his cup, he nodded, leaning against his body as the arm wrapped around his neck. "Well thank you." he chuckled. A soft hum left him at the thought of how expensive or cheap the amusement park was, his eyes moving up to stare at Yixing before smirking. 'Good. Then that means you can pay for it." he teased and poked Yixing's nose before laughing. "After all, you owe me after that spur of the moment movie night we had the other week." he said with a nod.
"Which by the way, I still hate you for picking that stupid romantic movie. I never cried so much in my life!"
@choi minki "It just moves? Well I sure hope it does" Yixing laughed and shook his head in amusement. He watched the younger male, suddenly beaming in happiness. "You're adorable, let's go" he stood up and dusted his pants off before wrapping his arm around the other's neck. "I'm not that smart, I just thought that it would be a really good place to go, not too expensive, not too cheap" he winked and playfully bonked his head against the others.
@zhang yixing Minki laughed and nodded. "Same! It's been so long. This is going to be a great trip." he laughed at him and reached out, ruffling his hair. "You're adorable." he hummed and sat back as he looked him over. "I do think your dancing is so cool. You're body just...moves." he said and wiggled his own body in a poor attempt to dance in his seat. "You're amazing.' he said and grinned. "I haven't been to that one though! Let's go there! Yixing you're so smart I swear."
@choi minki Yixing nodded, "I'm really excited for this now, I haven't been to an amusement park in so long" he leaned back and stretched slightly. He tilted his finger tat the wiggling of his finger.
"Do I look cool? Well I'm glad you think I look cool when I dance" a playful smirk played at the corners of his lips. "We could go to six flags if you wanted" he shrugged and took a couple more sip of his drink before it was finished.
@zhang yixing Minki laughed at the cuteness of the other and hummed. "Alright then. Let's win prizes for each other." He said excitedly. The question of the dancing machines was a curious one, but Yixing seemed to know the answer to this. Nodding, he grinned, wiggling his finger.
"Ah okay then. I wanna see you play that game. You look so cool when you dance you know?" He asked and laughed softly. "Wait, which amusement park will we go to?"
@choi minki "Hey, I want to win you something too. We can win each other something, maybe they'll match!! That'll be really cute" Yixing beamed and thought about the games they could play, the prizes they could win, and all the fun they would have together. He wanted to go right now, to drag the younger male quickly to his car so they could get there right away.
Yixing raised a brow and thought, "I'm pretty sure all of them have a dancing machine, since most of them would have arcades and stuff" he pursed his lips and nodded slowly in thought.
@zhang yixing "Win me some prizes?" Minki asked and laughed. 'I'll have you know I'm skilled at playing games." he said confidently with a smirk. "I'll win you prizes." he said and pointed at the other before dropping his hand with a chuckle. "Ah, but a trip to the amusement park sounds good." he mused and rubbed his chin in thought. 'Which one would we go to?" It was a simple question and really Minki didn't care where they went, just as long as he was with Yixing. Yixing was so kind and gentle, and sweet. Going out with him was a lot of fun.
"Oh! Which amusement park is the one that has that dancing machine?" he asked.
@choi minki Noticing the small blush on Minki's pale cheeks, it caused him to coo at how cute the other male was. His smile widened and his eyes stuck staring at the gorgeous male in front of him. He was hopelessly in love with the other male, no matter what happens between them, he would still love him. He wouldn't say anything yet, he wanted to take the other male out for some fun.
"Hmm I was thinking we could go to the amusement park, I haven't been there in a while. Plus it'll be fun! We could go on the rides, I could win you some prizes if you wanted" Yixing leaned against his one hand, as he explained what he wanted to do. "Unless you want to do something else, which is perfectly okay" he smiled again, kindly this time.
The dancer wanted to treat Minki, to let him have fun, to make him laugh and smile. To feel the warmth in his chest when he knows he was able to make the smaller male smile. It was his only goal whenever they were together.
@zhang yixing "Saturday." Minki whispered and nodded his head. So it was the weekend. Yeah he had lost quite a bit of time once again. He wondered for a moment if that meant he hadn't going to work. Most likely and that was bad. God he hoped he hadn't been fired. How he managed to not get fired so far was beyond him, but at the same time, maybe his boss knew. His boss understood. That would make a whole hell of a lot more sense. His eyes moved back to Yixing and he smiled, a small flush crossing his cheeks as the hand brushed away the stray hair. It was nice. It was cute.
It brought sensations that he really needed to ignore. He couldn't possibly find himself falling in love with Yixing, of course it was most likely too late for that. After all, his heart wouldn't pound in his chest so much if he wasn't in love. Just the thought of Yixing made him smile. No...he shouldn't be in love with him.
"I'm fine Yixing." he said and chuckled. 'No panic attacks. Everything is good. Just over worked you know?" he asked and nodded. "So then, since it's Saturday, what would you like to do. You wanted to meet this morning, so what we do is totally up to you." he said and smiled.
@choi minki Yixing had not yet finished his drink, and instead watched the other male finish his. It was cute, watching how his face fell more in more relaxed with each sip of caffeine. Upon hearing the other's words, he laughed softly, "Well I couldn't help it, talking to you has become one of my favourite things to do. Could you really blame me?" he teased back and cocked his head to the side, "It's the weekend, I don't work weekends remember? It's saturday Minki" the dance teacher finally took another sip from his own drink, face grimaced as the drink had turned cold.
"You look good today. Though you look good every time I see you. How is it you look good all the time?" Yixing raised a brow and leaned forward, elbows resting on the wooden table, being mindful of his mug. A hand reached over and brushed a stray hair out of the other male's face, smiling adoringly.
Bringing his hand back to the position it was previously, he tilted his head in wonder, "But really how have you been? Any panic attacks you haven't mentioned? Everything good?" Yixing shot a couple questions, still worried about the other. He was aware that the other male would probably inform him about things like that. But he couldn't help think that something was hidden. He too has had things hidden from the other. Though he wouldn't say anything just yet, knowing Minki wouldn't feel comfortable knowing.
@zhang yixing Far too engrossed in his drink, Minki really didn't take notice to the awkwardness that was slowly radiating from Yixing to surround their table. He was much too happy to have something warm and comforting in his body after the terrible morning he had had. He honestly wished he had been early. He really hated being late, especially if he knew Yixing was waiting for him. The other was such a kind and gentle soul and he just couldn't handle knowing he was making him wait and possibly making him unhappy.
Setting his cup down, he his lips, getting the last taste of the coffee off of them as his lifted to stare at the other. The question had him laughing. He hadn't meant to be as loud as he was, but it was hilarious. Because Yixing had texted him last night. And a few hours before that and a few hours before that. They talked almost on the regular through text, phone calls, or small meet ups. There were times when they couldn't, like when Minki was at work or Yixing was teaching. But afterwards they usually caught up over a phone call while they eat instant noodles or pizza and sat on their respective couches at home.
"Silly." he chuckled, his laughter dying down with a shake of his head. "Well if you're really curious, I've been great over the past twelve hours since we last talked. I don't know how I managed, sleeping and all." he . "Do you have class today? Or is it your day off? What day is it?" he asked and rubbed his cheek gently in wonder. Minki had a habit for blacking out sometimes, in which he could lose and hour, a day or even a few days of time. Thankfully it hadn't been happening a lot, but just recently he did have a black out, though he didn't tell Yixing about it. He was still trying to catch back up on the time he had missed, though he still wasn't sure what day it was. Even if there was a calendar in his phone that told him the day. Who would use such a useful item like that? Not Minki.
@choi minki Yixing watched as people walked by, talking animatedly to each other, some laughing, some serious, some just staying silent as they walked, enjoying each other's company. It wasnt too long until Minki had entered, the welcoming bell of the door chimed which caused a couple heads to turn and then immediately return to what they were doing. Not Yixing though. A smile crept up on his lips as he watched the other approach the table. Once seated he shook his head, the smile turning sweet. "Hey it's no worries, I get here way too early anyways so you're fine Minki." he sat up a bit straighter and held both his hands around this own warm mug.
The dancer watched the way the other's expression changed when he took a sip of the caffeinated drink. He enjoyed the comfortable silence between them two, letting the younger male have a moment to himself with his drink. Minki was someone Yixing could talk to about anything. They could talk forever. It was almost like a blessing for him that he had met such a wonderful person like him. Though they both had their rough pasts, Minki was always Yixing's first priority.
Suddenly the dancer had gotten kind of anxious, not knowing how to form another conversation. It usually wasn't this difficult for him, it was easier. But Something in him today was causing any form of words to seize. The silence almost getting a little awkward now. He had to say something but what. 'This is bad..' he thought to himself while taking another sip from his drink. "So, how have you been? I mean I literally texted you last night but.." he mentally scolded himself for how awkward it sounded. 'Smooth Yixing. Smooth. Just stay cool and calm.' He only hoped that he wouldn't be like this all day.
@zhang yixing Minki grunted as he shoved his foot into his shoe, fingers working to get the back over his heel as he hopped out of his apartment. It wasn't totally out of the ordinary for Yixing to call and ask him out for coffee. Coffee dates were pretty much a common thing between them, so much so that the other could probably order Minki's drink for him and get it correct, right down to the type of creamer he in it. It was scary, but that was just how close they were.
Minki met Yixing only a few months after he moved to the city. It was by accident when a panic attack had seized his brain again. The older man had been so sweet and caring, helping him get to a quiet spot and staying with him until he calmed down. The other had insisted on having his number and who was he to say no to a kind soul who didn't have to help him. He was a stranger after all. So he gave him his number and it started with small, sporadic texts, just to check up on and eventually what started as a concerned citizen ended up becoming one of his best friends, which was a feat in it's own.
While Minki could sit there and claim anyone he talked to as a friend, it actually took a while and a lot of work for Minki to actually open up and share like a normal friend would. His past....was a past that had shaped him intonthe fragile and nearly broken human that he was, not that many would know. He his it well under his bright smiling and outgoing exterior.
Glancing at the time, he cursed and started running down the sidewalk. He was late! He was so late!
Reaching the cafe, he pushed open the door, panting heavily. His eyes scanned the room for a moment before landing on Yixing and he smiled. The other was always early. Minki should really learn some time management from him. Walking over, he noted the second cup on the table and with a chucke, he took a seat and picked it up.
Still hot to the touch. With caution he brought the cup up and sipped it, sighing. Yes, exactly how he liked it. He gave a few more sips, letting the caffine work through his system for a moment before finally speaking. "I'm sorry for being late. The power went out in my building last night. My alarm didn't go off." He apologized. "Forgive me?"
@choi minki The scent of freshly ground coffee filled his senses. Yixing had come to meet up and have coffee with his friend. To him he was more than a friend, but he knew that the other was not ready yet. No matter how much he had shown him how he felt. It would be something that would take time. The dancer ordered their drinks, knowing what the other male liked, and sat at a table, waiting for his arrival. Yixing was early, far too anxious that he would be too late, or chicken out and just stay home completely. So the only other thing he thought of was to get there as early as he could.
With a few sips of his drink, he thought about what would happen if he told the other how he felt again. Would it turn into an argument? Would it be a bittersweet confession? Or would it turn out the way he had hoped for? For now it was a matter of waiting. Painful minutes ticked by, drink halfway done already. He would just have to buy another for himself before the other male arrives. Yixing's stared out the window, letting out a soft sigh. It was good that it wasn't a teaching day for him, so he didn't have to worry about rushing around later on.
@kim jongin [ hey do you mind if we switch to detailed 1st? my replies would be much faster that way y u y ]
A bit puzzled by the silence the other was giving him, instantly wondering the different possibilities that could've caused it, 'maybe he got creeped out and he changed his mind, i mean it would be understandable you couldn't even throw away your own trash. how pathetic was that' Subconsciously letting out a sigh from ll the thoughts that crowded his mind. Only to be dragged back to reality by a quiet deep voice, and feeling himself visibly relax upon realization that the man finally responded, relief almost obvious in Kyungsoo's voice. Taken aback by the sudden card shoved over the others shoulder, his eyes lowering just to stare at it, not moving to grasp the paper, emitting a quiet clearing of his throat as his eyes momentarily surveyed the ground. Maybe the other just forgot. "Asan .. medical center. okay i'll remember that. And Dr. .. Kai is his name.. oh thank you.. thanks so much. Whats your-- " Once he lifted his gaze to meet the other male he had already been heading out the exit door, causing him to cut his sentence mid-way, although all he could do was muster a smile of gratitude, opting to whisper a thanks as if that would reach the male better then a verbal one, before soon turning his sight back to the counter just when it was his turn to order. Mentally noting himself to search up the center when he had left the Cafe.
@do kyungsoo A frown is etched on his face noticing the never-ending people standing ahead of him, then to the watch bracelet dangly loosely around his left wrist. Ten more minutes. Kai reminds himself, the tenderness of his lower lip caught between his teeth in idleness. His interest is once again piqued the echoing sounds of hastened bodily movements, nervous jitters and whatnot. The bronzed skinned male doesn't feel the need to turn his head back and acknowledge the person behind him. He already knows who it was. Tongue in cheek, the deliberately remains silent for a while probably making the male behind him perturbed by his sudden vow of silence. Contemplation. Something that kindled the internal conflict more. "Yes, I may know quite a few. "He answered quietly over his shoulder, after careful deliberation, worries of all sorts crowding his throat. He pats down on top of his clothes in search of something, eventually he retrieves an card from his front pocket of his pants and raises it over his shoulder offering it to the stranger awaited his answer. "Here is the clinic address. Oh, sorry. You may not want it since I touched the trash can a while ago." He slips the card back inside his pocket, his focus robbed by the ticking arms of the clock earning an inaudibly sigh from the man. "The place is called Asan medical center. Go there and ask for the counsellor named Dr. Kai. Good luck. " He steps out of the queue regrettably, maybe he could grab a cup of coffee at the office. He politely bows his head then rushes out of the café.
@kim jongin He couldn't answer, because he simply didn't know if he was sure or not, it wasn't something he often spoke to people about, and it much usually kept it to himself, to his luck no one ever questioned or pestered him about it before. Feeling a pang of diffidence as he noticed the male staring at his hands, more specifically his faint scars. drawing his hands back behind his back as he paced his sight on the ground as the other explained. And for a brief moment Kyungsoo began to consider it, it wasn't a entirely bad ideation, and as long as it would be kept a secret it couldn't hurt him right to test it out. For the first time today the corners of his puckered pink lips curled up into a gentle smile as he spoke softly to the man. "They have? D-do you personally know a doctor then? " He wasn't sure why but the mere ideation of him being cured, not having to bother carrying around disinfecting wipes as if the world was bordered with disease and infections. The thought brought a tight smile along his lips, and he couldn't help but somewhat feel grateful to the man before hi- wait was he leaving? Nictitating a few times before realizing the line had moved and that he too should follow suit, scurrying over behind Kai in line, biting down on his lower lip as he awaited the other males answer.
@do kyungsoo Kai was a very curious kid, always interested in learning things about people’s behaviour, what motivated them. However, choosing the profession he'd pursued wasn't something he had done out of passion rather it was out of regret. "Are you sure? "He asked plainly, staring the faded scars littered carelessly on the stranger's hand from scrubbing too much. Those hand looked familiar, the fear and unsurity clearly flashing in those wavering irises. Indeed it was liking staring at the ghost from the past. His heart constricted uncomfortably at the sight of the conflicted male. With familarization came the same sense of responsibility and lingering dead weight of failure. But he nods, nonetheless, in response to the male query. "Mysophobia is the clinical term for germophobia. There are at least thousand of cases regarding this phobia. And doctors have come up with several therapies to cure it. Germophobes tend to isolate themselves, become paranoid during later stages. It would be wise to see a doctor. "Kai concludes in a prissy demeanor before turning to his heel and proceeding to make his way toward the counter then stand back at the queue.
@kim jongin Kyungsoo expression distorting into one of confusion from Kai's words, before allowing his irises to follow where the latters gaze had been focused, his owl like orbs doubling in size at the realization of his err, fleetingly using his forefinger to push the pile of wipes back further into his pocket before turning his sight back on the tall male. Chagrin written obviously over his features as he paced his gaze on the ground, almost too embarrassed to meet the others eyes. But yet his following sentence caused Kyungsoo to abruptly lift his chin to gander up towards him, 'Mysophobia? just what was this guy on about.. ?' He wandered to himself. "What.. do you mea– " He paused mid response as the other continued on, Kyungsoos eyes never leaving the man as he watched him toss off his trash for him, blinking a few times before finally muttering a quiet but audible thanks. "I don't.. need to see a doctor I'm fine .. " Was what he kept telling himself in hopes that one day he himself would actually believe it too. Was this man right? and what did he mean before his condition worsen? could it really get any worst than this? Soo wondered. "I.. wo..would that really work? ... " His voice was low and full with hesitation but something in his mind told Kyungsoo to hear him out and see if this ready could be helped.
@do kyungsoo The spiteful response is left hanging mid-air as the stranger appears contemplative of his thoughtless action and uncontrollable mouth, not even rippled by such a hostile acknowledgment Kai simply nods to the other's words. Gaze drifting to the pitiful ball of tissue crumpled with his tight grasp then to the trail of unused tissues hanging from the back pocket to which he signal with a pointed finger. "I was referring to the tissues hanging from your back pocket. But you might want to throw that as well. You won't be so ill at ease then"Hiding his awkwardly limp left hand in the confinement of his jean's pocket, he stared at the man making a stuttering, nervous mess of himself with lazy eyes. "You have mysophobia. "Kai concluded assertively and an unwavering air of confidence, ignoring the bud of excitement blooming in his stomach as the word naturally rolled off his tongue. He bends over to carefully taking the balled tissue from the stranger loosely fisted hand, mindful of not letting their skin brush from the action then tosses them to the unlidded trash can. "Are you seeing a doctor?" Sharp gaze moving to inspect the male's hand without waiting for any type of affirmation from the latter to his ridiculous speculations. Ridiculous yet true speculations. "Something tells me that you aren't. You should counsel a doctor, before your condition worsens. "
@kim jongin The mere fact he was still grasping the impure and grotty cloth, (as he would put it) in his hand was silently setting him off with every passing second and minute, and yet he was still discouraged to toss it into the sea of bacteria and other unsanitary things that was properly known as the trash bin which he'd rather not come in contact with, just the sight of it had his features contorted in disgust. And much to his misfortune it was one you had to physically touch to open. 'Why does the world hate me so much today?' He mentally questioned himself before his mental thought train was cut short by the sound of a unfamiliar voice penetrating his earshot.
Kyungsoo slowly rose his orbs to meet the face of the voice, his expression stoic as he nictated as if comprehending who the man was speaking to albeit it was clearly obvious it was Kyungsoo. As if impulse speaking he instantaneously retorted with. "It's used already i can't put it in my pocket with the-- " He stopped himself mid-sentence when he realized he was about to sprout something embarrassing. 'He can't know it's other tissues you idiot he'll think you're some weirdo who have some type of germ issues, which i'm not!' Yes he had been mentally arguing with himself, physically staring off into space as he did so before unconsciously taking his plump lower lip between his teeth habitually. Trying to think of a quick way to fix his 'error' "U-uh.. i .. uhm.. i'm .. still .. using it.. " 'You idiot why would you say that? now i can't throw it away and it's starting to become unbearably gross. '
@do kyungsoo Succulent aromas wafts through the air, but of course he could only think about the espresso macchiato and the last costumer at the end of an apparently long queue. With right palm pressed to cover his yawn mouth, getting slightly teary eyed. He allows his dark eyes to wonder around the cafe, as if appraising the interiors with disinterested half-lidded eyes and mind into mental preparations of the unexpected bound to happen daily in his line of work. Naturally his gaze is fixated towards the door hastily swung open by a man of rather dainty physique. His composure is disrupted by the momentary widening of his eyes flashing a strong emotion then schooled his expression back to neutral upon being self-aware of the slip. Something wasn't quite right with the new customer, he concluded proceeding to quietly observe the oblivious male and now closely wedged between two women doused with overwhelming amount of perfume.
Holding his breath, he stepped aside allowing the woman behind to take his spot. Preoccupied by the peculiar customer who stood in front of the trash bin looking very conflicted, Kim Kai, fails to respond the flirtatious advances of the grateful woman.
Kai maneuvers his way through the crowd, aiming to stand a little close to the person of his interest. "You might want to put your tissues back inside your pocket. Or would you rather have it thrown? " Looking very unapologetic about disturbing an unknown man, Kai addresses the male with his usual bored monotone. Not the least perturbed that the person might find his greeting a bit odd, which it really was.
@kim jongin He could do this, he got this, it's nothing, it's just a cafe.. at least that's what he tried to convince himself, in truth he was frightened out of his mind, it wasn't out of the norm that his boss would send him to fetch his lunch and or a morning coffee, so he should be more than used to this right? well wrong, no matter how many times kyungsoo has done this he can never get anymore used to it than any other public place to him. in a deep inhale as he peered at the glass entrance to the building, swiftly digging into his back pocket, where he held his disinfecting wipes he kept handy for this exact reason. Unaware of the second hand tissue that dragged along with the one he pulled out, now exposing the wipes without his knowledge, letting his eyes fall shut briefly as he prepared himself to enter, lucky for him there was no one behind him that needed to enter cause he was surely taking his time.
"Just great. ... it's a busy day.. " Kyungsoo muttered to himself as his orbs wandered around the interior of the cafe, immediately taking sight of the lengthy wait line in front of the counter and instantaneously sighing. He should've known, it was a well known cafe, people loved this place and the time wasn't helping the fact much. He was ultimately screwed, he thought to himself. He was still contemplating if he should take a seat for the wait or simply keep standing. His gaze lifting when he noticed someone in front of him, inwardly relieved he hadn't stepped closer or else he would've bumped into the stranger, a low sigh emitting as Kyungsoo let the strong yet soothing aroma of the coffee beans fill his nostrils, the scent somewhat calming him. Soon remembering he never discarded the used wipe, he strolled sideways to the trash bin beside the entrance, his nose scrunching habitually at the sight of garbage, still not use to going near such germ filled objects.
@do kyungsoo With an lovely tune humming from his slightly parted lips, a black baseball hat shrouding the entirety of his face from the bright sunlight, the 25 year man paddles his way through the streets of Seoul skillfully dodging the individuals mostly enslaved by the regularity of dreadfully long hours either glued to a chair while staring at the computer or go on pretending to admired the higher ups they secretly hated, the commuters. Him being one of the so called enslaved ones however, it was his undecipherable yearning for good will rather than greed for wealth the bound him. His gaze is momentarily drawn to the few exceptions to the lot, a little girl talking to her mother with semblance of animated joy. There is a miniscule curve on those otherwise pair of lips pressed together, often, in an unamused line. His dark orbs are once again trained ahead, cool winds bids his face a refreshed greeting that briefly leaves him breathless and threatens to blows the hat as he speeds up noticing the familiar establishment where he routinely visited each daily. The tires of his recently chromed white samchuly hound comes to a screeching halt, sending his body lurching fowards and left limb instinctively trying connect itself to the earth, trying to prevent a possible fall.
His chest heaves up and down drastically, heart encaged within his ribcage clamored loudly as he body gradually calmed down of the adrenaline high. He climbed out of the bike, slender fingers trying to straighten the non-existent creases on his white button down shirt. A small frown causes those arched thick brows to meet as he stared at the pair of skinny grey jeans that clothed his strong thighs and calves with a disgruntled huff. Instantly regretting the choice of wearing such movement restraining fabric. With a rueful shake of head, he ambled towards the door of the café to pushed it open with caffeine befuddling his train of thoughts and nostrils flaring automatically to take a lungful of the fresh it roasted coffee.
