@Kim Sejeong Upon the initial temperature change, goosebumps littered his exposed skin, diverting his attention away from the cold to the unknown with him. He didn't want to frighten her into leaving, so he made no abrupt decision or movement to try and close the distance between them--at least not so soon. His lips parted but no words were yet to be uttered as she seemed to have beat him to it first. Her words hit him like a truck. Had he already given a faulty impression without formally meeting the girl? Was it his natural forwardness that scared her off? He barely exchanged two sentences with the other, so it surely couldn't have been something he said. Or perhaps something he hadn't said? Did he unintentionally make her uncomfortable this quickly? Worries swarmed his thoughts, having never encountered someone so instantly off put by his presence. Except perhaps one person, but that was long ago.
He was too caught up within his own self-pity to not take notice of the other attempting to venture out of the pool until a backsplash earned back his attention. Thoughtlessly, he pushed through the water and to the female, concern evident over his countenance. "Hey, are you alright?"
@Jung Hoseok Even with her back against him, she could recognise his voice, the way it was a little more high pitched than anybody else's, the way his words ended in a slight lilt. Nibbling at her lower lip, she tried to stay as far away as she could from him as he made a move to enter the water. Clearing awkwardly, she tried to adjust her voice cords so she wouldn't sound so much like herself, "It's fine, I'll be leaving in a while." Upon hearing the splash of the water, she knew that he wasn't far from her in the pool, given there really wasn't much space in it to run to even though it was a pretty spacious and luxurious swimming site. Making her way to one of the nearby stairs, Sejeong reached for the handles to climb up, only to let her grip slip, and she fell back into the water with a small splash. "Goddammit," she muttered under her breath, hoping she wasn't caught by the other in embarrassment.
@Kim Sejeong Clad in a simple white tee and some swimming trunks, he looked to the watch slung around his wrists and believed with all the excitement occurring within the extravagant home, it would be a preferred time to find peace outside. However, rather foolishly of him, he hadn't expected to see another already wading through the water, causing ripples in her path. "Oh, I didn't realize anyone else would be out here." His tone of voice representing the sheepishness visibly presented through his expression. "I hope you don't mind I join you.." this time around his words dragged off, attempting to catch even a glimpse of the silent female situated in the pool. She had yet to speak once since his arrival, and her appearance from behind wasn't much of tell to the unnamed figure. Though, one factor he could tell for certain from the vague hints he's given to work with is he's surely never spent a night with them. As crude as an observation that may be, it was a good enough indicator that the two could've never crossed paths. And even more of a reason to pry deeper into unmasking the recluse. Hoseok threw his stuff onto one of the empty chairs, stripping off his shirt last, before making his way to the edge of the pool and welcoming himself to slide into the cool chlorinated bath.
@Jung Hoseok It's been a couple of days since Sejeong last landed her gaze on the familiar face she loathed to remember, yet the lingering feeling never left her. She was just done with her tasks as she took a stroll along the pool, deep in thought until footsteps broke her reverie. Glancing to the source of the sound, she could see who was coming and panicked instinctively, she didn't want to face him just yet. Then again, he might not even remember her. In a fit of anxiety, she decided to dive into the pool, back facing the other as she pretended to be busy in the water, wishing he wouldn't recognise her as long as their eyes never met.

>Stepford Wives.< “Something is wrong with these people... and this town...”
In a small secluded town called Stepford there is a gated community. Who inhabits this community you may ask? Well, men and women... but not just men and women... we mean Stepford Husbands and Wives. Girlfriends and Boyfriends also inhabit the community too. Everything about Stepford seems perfect... too perfect. Despite its seemingly flawless appeal, Stepford has dark secrets that the long time inhabitants don’t want newcomers such as yourself to know about. But, we’ll tell you but keep it a secret, okay? The people are androids and they would love it if you could become one of them. So, now you know that not everything is peachy in Stepford, but that’s the point isn’t it? Nothing is perfect, but Stepford itself is great at fooling people... so you’d better watch out or you’ll be nothing but a walking bag of nuts and bolts like the rest of the people in the community of Stepford.
