i try and make my way to island in the middle of the kitchen with my filled hands, dropping several bags of snacks on my way there.
i’m excited already! and we haven’t even started on anything.

@yoo jeongyeon. i immediately start to relax at the feeling of your hands on my shoulders, my lips pulling to a small smile as i nod in agreement.
okay, okay. i'll stop worrying.
i spun on my heel, my eyes following after you as you made your way to the kitchen, cleaning my throat loudly because i had been whispering too much. i start to walk after you, my smile growing exponentially wider as i speak.
we have both! let's go ham. doritos, pretzels, extra buttered popcorn, soda–– all that coupled with our awesome blanket fort is going to make this the best day ever!

@kim taehyung the resident . i nod and break into a smile, with my brain finally functioning normally again, after pushing that memory aside for now and most definitely dealing with it another time. but for now, all i wanted to do was relax and enjoy tonight. i place both my hands on your shoulders and massage them, hopefully reassuring you and help you relax.

i let go of our intertwined fingers, not before lingering for a bit longer, as i head into the kitchen to open the fridge.
so what do you feel like snacking on today? chips? popcorn?

@yoo jeongyeon. i hadn't at all expected for you to be so quiet after pulling that stunt. part of me was starting to feel a bit bad despite the fact that you told me not to worry. my fingers squeezed yours gently as i kept looking at you.
are you sure? i– if you want to just get to our marathon, i have a ton of snacks we can grab from the fridge, and lost of drinks too. if you just want water, though, we have a filter on the faucet.
i gestured toward the kitchen, my eyes glazing over the pile of folded blankets in the middle of the living room, unable to hold back a small smile.

@kim taehyung the resident . i stood frozen in the elevator, my mind and body still processing what had happened. i let your fingers interlock with mine and pull me out of the elevator, stumbling behind you until we reach your dorm. your voice snaps me out of my trance as i shake my head, trying to get my senses together before replying you, still looking a little lost.
yeah, i’m fine. it’s all good don’t worry.

@yoo jeongyeon. i am quickly broken out of my embarrassed trance, a coy smile finding its way to my lips, especially once i see the blood rushing to your face. not even feeling a bit apologetic, i intertwine my fingers with yours, gently pulling to alongside me so we can exit the elevator, not paying any bit of attention to the small group of people waiting to board. my room wasn't too far down the hallway, so when we reach the front door, i fish in my pocket with my free hand to retrieve my keys, unlocking the door, and entering first so i can look around, assuring that none of the guys were still inside. since you still hadn't peeped a word since we left the elevator, i turned to you, giving you my undivided attention after closing the door, a twinge of worry in my eyes.
are– are you alright? should i not have done that?

as your pillowy lips make contact with my skin, my heart starts going into overdrive, beating so hard j could hear it ring in my ears. my eyes widen and i freeze, unable to process what had just happened, like a deer caught in the headlights, still gripping onto your fingers. blood unconsciously rushes to my cheeks and the tips of my ears, turning me a pale shade of red. i try to shake my head to break my trance, but the moment never leaving my head.

@yoo jeongyeon. my eyes flicker to the floor indicator on the elevator, my heart starting to pump a bit faster because we’re only seconds from getting to our destination. muttering something unintelligible under my breath, i act on impulse, tilting my head and leaning in and to press a quick kiss to your cheek. embarrassed, i quickly look away, the tops of my cheeks immediately flushing a bright pink shade as the elevator doors start to open.

@yoo jeongyeon. i’m broken out of my trance when you take my fingers into yours, my gaze lifting to meeting yours, my expression sort of blank for a moment before I crack a tiny smile.
oh- no, nothing is wrong! i’m just, um... trying to keep my mind a little busy right now because i want to, um...
i trail off, shifting my gaze to the floor of the elevator, clearing my throat before i speak again.

i draw my attention to the little tugs i felt at the side of my shirt, only to find you fingers fiddling with it. concerned, i take you fingers into my hands.
waeyo? is anything wrong?

@yoo jeongyeon. once we enter the elevator, i quickly spin around and press the button to my floor before returning to your side.
it's true though... but i bet you girls hardly have time either! plus you have even more people––
my fingers find the hem of your shirt, idly picking at it as we wait for the elevator to reach my floor.

@kim taehyung the resident . but it’s understandable so it's fine, and with your hectic schedules i doubt you guys even rest enough let alone clean up.

@yoo jeongyeon. well yeah, i guess you're right—it's still a little embarrassing though.
after shaking off the thought, i gently nudge you with a raise of my eyebrows before leading you toward the elevator so we can head to my floor.

@kim taehyung the resident . that’s true. especially the food.
shuffles closer to you as you pull me, deciding to grab the back of your shirt before i lose you in this crowd. i enter the building behind you before heaving a sigh of relief, taking in my surroundings, i nod before chuckling at your statement.
yeah it looks pretty nice in here. i mean it’s 7 boys living together i don’t expect you guys to be the neatest.

@yoo jeongyeon. tumblr has a way of making anything look really good.
with a chuckle, i pull you slightly closer to me, keeping my focus on the sidewalk and surroundings as the area around the dorm tended to be rather chaotic most of the time.
soon after, we reached the building, and i opened the main door for you, gesturing to the open foyer with a grin after following you inside.
pretty nice, right? wait till you see our dorm.

pats the top of your shoulder reassuringly as we pop out of the end of the alley, finding ourselves back to the semi-busy streets.
if you think it's too scary we'll switch to something else, okay? by the way–– the dorms are just down this street so we're almost there!

@kim taehyung the resident . i thanked you silently in my head, walking nearer to you as your arm tightened around me, our sides almost touching. i look around at the surroundings cautiously, feeling a little unsettling.

a squeal of delight slips past my lips and my eyes glimmer in excitement.
are we really going to? and good because if it was i ain’t watching it. i hope i wouldn’t be hiding behind you for more than half of the episodes then.

@yoo jeongyeon. once it clicks in my brain that you're struggling to keep up, i slow down my strides, my arm instinctively tightening around you as i turn down an alley in an attempt to shorten our travel time a little bit.
jeongyeon––– we should build a blanket fort. c oughs. and nah, stranger things isn't really scary at all. it can get creepy at times though. but if there's anything you think is too scary then you can just hide behind me.

@kim taehyung the resident . i know right? especially if you built one of those blanket forts and filled it with pillows and it gets all nice and cosy. i would sleep in that even without watching a movie.
while crossing the road, i find my shorter legs trying their best to keep up with your bigger strides as you unconsciously take bigger steps. i eventually settled with a small jog to catch up with you, all while ensuring that your arm doesn’t slip off my shoulder.
nope i haven’t watched it yet. is it scary tho? let’s just say i’m not the best with horror and i get scared very easily.

@yoo jeongyeon. i couldn't ask for a better setup. it's almost worth it to fall asleep.
my grin grows brighter as i look at you again, starting to cross the road, keeping my hold on you tight but not too tight.
well, it's almost halloween.... have you seen stranger things? i've seen the first season already but i kind of want to watch it again.
