Soohyun's House

Using his key to open the front door, Sunggyu walked into the house and moved to the kitchen, placing the paper bag that he was carrying down on the counter. He had been out at the store, buying some things that the doctor had suggested to help him have a healthy pregnancy. Admittedly, he had been scared when he heard the news because he didn't know anything about being a parent and bringing a new life into the world, but as the shock of it all wore off he realized that he was excited. He spent a good portion of the night while he was awake laying in bed, brushing his fingertips over his flat stomach and trying to fathom that there was now a little person in there. His and Soohyun's baby. It was amazing and wonderful to think about... and now that Soohyun wasn't taking hits anymore, they could focus on being a family.

"Hyunnie, I'm back! I got some of those prenatal vitamins the doctor talked about." He called as he set the bottles of pills on the counter. Getting no answer, Sunggyu figured his boyfriend must be asleep or in the shower so we went upstairs to find him. Nothing seemed out of place and the small musician's brows furrowed in confusion as he checked the bedroom and bathroom, but found no trace of his partner... "Soohyun?" He tried again, walking back into the bedroom. It was then that he noticed the closet door was open, revealing the bare interior. All of Soohyun's clothes were gone... Everything except the familiar bathrobe hanging on the back of the bathroom door. All traces of his boyfriend were gone.

"Soohyun! SOOHYUN?" This time there was a fear in his voice as he cried out for him and frantically ran back downstairs. No matter where he searched, though, it was as if Soohyun had never existed. Running into the living room, his foot caught on the corner of the rug in his haste and he toppled over, gasping in pain as he threw his hands out to break his fall and they skidded against the rough material. His knees and palms, now raw and reddened, ached but he couldn't care less. "W-Where are you? Soohyun..." He whimpered, hot tears streaming down his cheeks.

This was a dream... Some terrible nightmare and Sunggyu refused to believe it was real. After a long while of laying on the living room floor, he finally forced himself to move. Maybe if he went to sleep, he'd wake up in Soohyun's embrace once more. He walked up to the bedroom again, grabbing the bathrobe on the back of the door and putting it on like he always did whenever Soohyun wasn't home. Falling onto the bed, he buried his face in the pillow and breathed in the familiar scent of his lover, somehow calmed by it. Yeah... When he woke up Soohyun would be there. It'd be okay.
