[⚘] café

Irritation was something Bobae had yet to learn how to control, although he would seem to be calm and have a care-free appearance during such situations he could still hear the small voice at the back of his mind -- yelling, demanding for him unleash his anger. But he new better, he knew that walking away and taking a moment could calm him quite easily, effortlessly in some cases. Often being misinterpret as him being bipolar which was of course not the case -- Bobae was the most sane person he knew. Slim fingers run through his dark locks as his other hand has a tight hold on the new novel he had simply fallen in love with. If he was honest, deep down he knew he just needed an excuse or reason to simply take a step back from his hectic reality and enjoy his much needed 'me time'. He couldn't help but to feel slightly disappointed at himself, nonetheless -- that the excuse he needed was a situation like the one that happened earlier.
"Coffee, a cig and a nice reading -- its all you need, Bobae."
The young, dark haired male muttered to himself under his breath as he reached his usual spot. Even before he had settled in the school grounds, this café in particular gave him a home kind of vibe. The booths outside were the perfect spot to relax and simply enjoy a break for himself -- from himself. He didn't have to even open his mouth to oder, once a waitress saw him enter all she asked was, "the usual?" and all he had to do was nod and continue his way out the back towards the booths. Bobae released a deep sigh once he took a seat on the soft cushion, tense muscle relaxing, book laying open on the table with his bookmark still in between the pages. His head tilts back as his eyes fall shut, quietly basking in the soft, warm breeze that envelops his very being. It all felt surreal, as if he could feel his father besides him -- muttering that it wasn't healthy for him to hold grudges against anyone, no matter the reason. He's taken out of his trance at the sound of glass clattering against the marble table, a smile spreading over his lips as he mutters a thanks to the waitress before she leaves. Bobae would be a liar if he said the caramel mocha didn't hit the right spot, the cold drink soothing his burning throat.
Between turning of pages and sips of his coffee, Bobae brought a hand into the back pockets of his jeans, frantically searching for his disappointing habit of smoking. Did he ever try to convince himself to stop, to try different options rather than nicotine? Of course, but he wasn't strong enough to say enough was enough and so he gently shook a cigarette out of the half empty box onto his hand before placing it between his plush tiers. He never understood why he always became hesitant to lit the cigarette -- get it over with, it was quite stupid if you asked him. Although, all worries left the moment he takes a drag, feeling the warmth of the smoke and nicotine tingle his taste buds -- feeling as if a safety blanket was being wrapped around him, making the moment enjoyable. He loved it. The warm feeling of the rough paper between his knuckles, the taste lingering in his mouth, the feeling of the smoke in his lungs and going out through his lips and nostrils as he exhaled. It was warm, comforting, pleasant, calming -- the effect of the small rush of nicotine invading his senses. By the time he was done with his cigarette Bobae felt brand new, renewed, almost like a completely new person. The taste of the sugary and bitter drink and the nicotine mixing on his taste buds left an unpleasant taste -- reminding himself he would need a bit of an extra mouth wash once he returned home. Bobae was still proud he got past half of the novel, feeling relieved he would probably finish it before going to sleep -- much like the old man ways he seemed to have caught. The thought makes him chuckle as he collects his items, briefly stopping at the counter to pay for his beverage before making his way back home -- feeling much better than before.

- I smiled awkwardly before jolting got my head at your request-
They can be yes... you play games to win tickets and depending on the amount of tickets you get a prize that fits the amount. You want to go to one?

he nodded before looking at their surroundings.
hmm.. oh! i’ve heard of these.. arcade things? are those fun? do you know any?

- mumbles softly as I looked around -
We have a bit of time to kill we can not go to these kinds of parties early it isn’t cool so what would you want to do?

@♱ kim minsung he glanced down at your arm as you slid it around his before they began to walk down the sidewalk, then turns his attention back to straight ahead of him, humming softly to himself.

he avert his attention to you upon hearing your words, looking away a bit in embarrassment.

he glances down at his clothes before rubbing the back of his neck in thought.

That’s possible? Then maybe sometime we can test it out yeah?
- I bit my lip furrowing my brows at the look I was given-
I have been to plenty of parties Jaeyoung... I’m fully capable to know what we need to be careful of

i’m immune to small quantities, but if someone else were to use more than the drop i just consumed— i guess i would be in trouble too
he nods his head once more, then glances off to the side a bit shyly by your worse.

i can inject venom through my fangs, and also..
he lifts up a finger and shows as it slowly begins to gloss over with a clear, sticky seeming liquid.
i can secrete poison, that can paralyze people or act as a painkiller, from any part of my body.
he hummed before the small drop off his finger, thinking about how the party may look like.
oh— i see.. well, uhm.. will you be doing that as well?

you’re silly. sadly, my mouth isn’t black in my human form, boring, right? though there are some things from my both my animal sides that i can use while in human form.
he continued to cough as the water was handed over to him and he finally calmed down after drinking it, letting out a relieved sigh.
i came out here to make friends, and i can’t believe the first one i made already tried to kill me—
