@kim jungeun doyeon was known to be a bit aloof in her label. when she had joined her group, it seemed that she was the last one to enter as everyone already seemed to be friends with each other. even as produce 101 came and went, there was still this awkward air between her and the other members of weki meki. not that they were bad people, she adored them all to death but didn't have that deep connection with them -- and they were probably still working on that. hence, when kim lip had invited her out to lunch doyeon was ecstatic. she had remembered meeting her once and felt that her personality was nice and that they could be good friends, plus doyeon was a fan of her music as well.

however, if there was one thing doyeon lacked, it was proper time management. she had woken up late and for some reason that hadn't hit her until she was halfway getting ready and she had 5 minutes to meet lip at the restaurant -- a restaurant that was 15 minutes away. and there doyeon was, running like a fool on the streets with minimal makeup on and her hair just a complete mess.

the restaurant in sight, she barges straight into the door and nearly makes a big scene. she's gasping for air, looking at the clock and sighing in relief as she realizes she somehow made a 15 minute walk become a 7 minute walk and that she kept kim lip waiting at a very minimal time. she takes a moment to catch her breath, scanning the restaurant and finally spotting her lunch date, shooting her a wide grin.

"lip!" she exclaims, rushing over to take a seat at the table with her. "i'm so sorry for making you wait, i was dicking around and -- did you wait long? oh my god i feel so bad--" she continues to blabber, a habit she had whenever she felt apologetic as she had so many thoughts and couldn't coherently communicate them.

@kim doyeon the only thing in this world that kim lip liked more than the heavenly experience of eating delicious food, was being able to share and eat food with people that she liked. so, when she finally gathered the courage to ask doyeon to eat lunch with her, she was pleasantly surprised and very happy when she agreed to meet her for lunch.

if lip could be completely honest, she was probably very close to completely just vibrating with excitement and happiness.

so lip sat in her seat as calmly as she could manage, and glanced every few seconds out the door to see if she could spot doyeon walking towards the restaurant. her hands were wrapped around the glass of water the waiter placed down for her and she struggled to not fidget in her seat.

after all, doyeon was pretty amazing and popular and so young, and kim lip wasn't there yet.
