hnnn can we fix the live chat and tagging system maybe so that if the character's name is updated it shows up as the correct thing instead of the original name? cause sometimes it causes confusion if they cc but then you tag and it still says their previous faceclaim

this can already be fixed by changing the name, removing the owner, and reaccepting the application

perhaps we can create a better roleplay tagging system? kinda like ao3 where tags get sorted into synonyms so if people even still browse by tags another it's not like oh I have to check these 10 different tags for 3rdpov rps

not sure if this has been brought up before, but RPR should have an app and not just a browser. it would be much easier to receive notifications on the phone, on the go.

i do like malewifey’s idea, however, that is easily avoidable by creating multiple emails.

there could be something tied to the ips addresses themselves along with the emails? maybe only allowing updated emails such as gmail. yahoo. those that require a phone number ( hence those that will make you only have a certain amount of emails ) versus outlook where you can create spam after spam email.
so a ip+email tie

and then an ACTUAL blocking system where you can’t see the user at all. they’re hidden from you unless you unblock them. no roleplay posts, no pm’s, no walls, no roleplay comments, wall comments. etc. like how twitter, you can have a user hidden and blocked, and can’t see what they write. if this could tie into the ip adresses too that’d be great lmao because dang, you know petty people be ghosting to snoop on your blogs to see if you’re burning because of them

wasn't sure if this suggestion belonged in the rolplaying or site updates, so I apologize for the misplacement. I know that the faq or about us page gives some details about how rpr works. however, based on what I see and hear, rpr can be confusing for new users still. my suggestion would be that we have a visual guide for newcomers that could be on the front page or somewhere easily visible for everyone to see.

the guide could be like a picture book, circling pictures/part of the site and describing for people what the circled parts mean. it could show people where/how/what to do. for example, how to put up a dp or how to apply for a new character. in addition, we could have a list of terms, that way people can easily find their way around the site. not sure if the guide would be a separate page on rpr or a story link on aff. if need, could help out too here and there with the guide.

this thing that AFF has for non-existing rp's needs to be here as well. I'm the type to remove my favorite so I don't swim in dead roleplays in my rp's list and this could help to remove the favorite or to simply also remove the upvote along to rp's where I didn't find my experience positive, but on where I can't remove it anymore since it ends.

Also there is a bug? I noticed that sometimes the roleplay ins't eliminated since I still have my characters, but then I can't access the rooms? or this means it was set to private?

I frankly wish this site was cut into two:
One for people that like the fast type of rping with one line and lots of crack and another for more intricate roleplays without crack or keeping that to a absolute minimum where the max of characters we can write could be more than the given usual and where we could have more perks that also won't make sense for non-aus and crack rp's while some other updates for them, also don't make much sense for these type of intricate ones.

Love it and allow us to use different fonts as well in the titles of roleplays because they can really set the scene and tone for the roleplay :)

I think it'd be an amazing idea in chat/ooc/spam rooms, however, I do think it should be given the option to be turned off in certain rooms. or in the rp as a whole if the admin wishes. just like there's the [M] tag, or box or whatever, maybe this could have a box too where people can check whether they prefer it or not? the default of having it off would be great, also if there could be the option of a main room to go to when you click on the roleplay name because i kept getting lost in the wrong room earlier lmao it was the game room :' D and u h sometimes i walk into people doing it in their own private rooms and that's not cool bring me to the safe chat room or main room or whatever pls tnx :')

If there was a way to choose the type of room that you wanted such as ooc rooms then this would be fine, but I don't see the option of choosing "chat room" or "roleplay room"

I feel like with the change that just recently happened and the text box being smaller is not a bad idea, but for people who want serious rps, they won't be able to get that and will be immediately be turned off. Even typing this out I can't have more than one line it just continues.
