@: chong tingyan she watched as her heart was stomped and trampled with. how could she be so stupid? she found every reason to believe her boyfriend wasn't in the wrong but, even she, can still tell what he did was inhumane. he cheated on her, after all those months of putting up with him gone to waste. she thought she started seeing a change but she was simply blinded from the truth. she should've seen this coming, her friends back home certainly have - even years before she could. she should've listened to them when she had the chance. fortunately, she ended that relationship like it was a ball of toxic waste heading towards her. just like that. like a snap of a finger and now she was all alone with no one to lean onto.
lisa didn't feel like going anywhere except for the club. at least she can count on alcohol for the lack of better friends. she didn't have any aim besides that. so she wore a pretty go-to clubbing dress, one that stuck closely to her skin, and a light leather jacket to compliment it. when it started to get dark, she headed out there with a strut to her step. many would mistake her as confident, but it was quite the opposite. she desperately needed a place to escape reality, and the club was where it was at.
an hour later, she found herself drowning in drinks and after getting hit on by a couple of boys, she escaped to the bathroom, looking pale as could be. despite the unwanted and grimy interior of it, she still entered one of the stalls and went down on her knees to project her nightly mistakes. she felt the hot tears running down her cheeks and her dry throat from drinking, but it wouldn't equate to the pain inside her heart. within a couple of minutes of throwing her regrets down the toilet, she heard someone address her existence - which was a nice change of events.
she sobbed into their shoulder, despite knowing little to nothing of who she was. she was nice enough to comfort her, so she shouldn't be a bad person, right? she grinned to herself. "i don't have anyone... he left me for her. i'm so stupid." she slurred as she softly hit herself with her wrist. "i'm all alone." she sniffled to herself. she felt sick to her stomach. she was so alone that it physically hurt.
@: lalisa manoban Tingyan shuffled her way into the bathroom of the nightclub, surprisingly sober. Usually she was the one to show up to the joint already drunk but tonight was different. She was suppose to meet a guy here so she decided, for once, to be completely aware of her surroundings - only to find the guy already practically the face off of another girl. So, that was fun. " this. I'm too sober for this." She grumbled to herself while she reapplied her lipstick in the bathroom mirror, the music resonating so loudly that it was difficult to hear her own thoughts. The bathroom was disgusting, as per usual. You'd think the ladies at the club would be able to clean up after theirselves but most morals get kicked out the door when alcohol's involved.
Turning on her thin 6 inch heel, she was about to step out and leave the club in a very exaggerated and dramatic manner - and of course in the line of vision of her 'date' - but stopped in her tracks when she noticed one of the stall doors ajar, a female haphazardly sat on the floor in her party dress, clearly not having the time of her life. She didn't know her, and honestly, she could just leave her, but there was something hauntingly nostalgic about the scene. Tingyan spent one too many nights on the floor of a club bathroom and most of those occasions were lonely. She didn't have a lot of gal pals to lean on, and her heart ached seeing the other clearly distraught and drunk.
"Hey, hey. Hey, pretty, what's wrong?" she cooed and stooped down next to the girl, lightly tugging on the hem of the female's dress to make sure she was as decent as she can be, parting her lips to speak again only to quickly reach and hold the other's long locks back when she leaned over to puke in the toilet, rubbing her back with her palm while she looked away from the sight so she won't feel queasy. "There ya' go, let it out, babe. Did you come with anyone? I can try to find them for you?"
