the first of the genetically modified by humans, these shifters are no regulars. they are used to hunt, and have very little freedom.
they seem to have an in-between with shape shifters, and werewolves: they only turn into a full blown wolf during their moon cycles, but have a 24/7, around the clock enhancement of senses.
they do follow the alpha-beta-omega mindset, but they do not have heats, or ruts, nor do they have any physical changes ( meaning no tails, no ears, etc. ) until they reach the full moon ( which will be the real time calendar count ).
when the wolves are out of the full moon cycle, they are undetectable to the vampires. it is only when they are undergoing the full moon changes that they're: 1.) detectable by vampires, 2.) able to be fed on by vampires.
