Class 1-A

@Son Hyejoo "Well yeah, you're in the masterlist". He responded with a light laugh. The answers he had gotten were exactly what he expected and in all honesty, it instilled a sense of worry into him. This kid was a freshman and he couldn't just imagine how she'd survive the rest of the year if she was like that. High school was after all, supposed to be the best time of one's life.

It was obvious that the other had no plans on telling the truth, either that she was uncomfortable in doing so, or it was uncomfortable that he was questioning things a bit too much foe her liking. Maybe it was even both. But alas, his curiosity was far too strong to ignore and he had a feeling that he should, in some sort of way, perhaps, just perhaps- push this student to socialize more with her classmates. 

He nodded. He could ony respond so much as he replied, "Well, Miss uh- Hyejoo, was it? You can always study with friends! You can even teach them as you do so. Keeps you closer". he kept his voice light as he followed up, "Mmhm, sometimes? I apologize for the extra questions but you do know that it's worrying if a child acts like being alone is alright?" Dongwoon asked as his head tipped ever so slightly to the side. 

Remembering it was lunch however, he couldn't delay Hyejoo from her hour break and the cafeteria was probably piling up as well. "But since it's lunch, I can't really hold you off. Tell you what- why don't we meet after class and I'll tell you those lessons in detail and well, continue this sudden convo by then as well?"

@Son Dongwoon "Electricity..." Hyejoo repeated after the teacher, while scribbling it onto her notepad. "Light... theory not required..." That was a shame, it would have been interesting to learn about the theories behind, and maybe she might look into it during her free time. "Then will the theories be covered in future years, Mr Son?" she asked. If not, maybe researching on that could wait after all the other extra credit she had to do.

Mr Son's question threw Hyejoo off, causing her to look up from her notepad while writing mid-sentence. "Uh, I think I'm part of this class," she replied, "I mean, my name is in the name list for this class."

Hyejoo could kind of tell what the teacher was getting at by asking the question, but she did not really want to answer it. Telling him "No, I am well integrated in this class of mine" would be a complete lie, and Mr Son would probably ask again. However, telling him "Well, I can't make friends because I don't dare to" would be too personal and perhaps, Hyejoo herself did not want to believe that. Either way, it would probably lead to the second scenario, so she decided to go with a half-truth instead.

"But if you mean it in the other way, I'm kind of busy with studying," she said, tip-toeing around her words, trying to give the bare minimum to answer Mr Son's question. Hyejoo prayed her answer was enough for Mr Son, so that he would not probe any further, but she could feel that it was not sufficient so she hastily added on some more. "But I do hang out with my classma-- friends," she continued. "Sometimes." Such as during group projects, but Hyejoo decided it was best if Mr Son did not know that.

@Son Hyejoo As the bell rung, Dongwoon's first instinct was to take himself to the door, opening it for the students who were, for obvious reasons, eager to leave. "Guess that's that, and I'll see you on the next meeting-" he mumbled, eyes going over to the front, a corner of his lips tugged up into a half-smile. Feet clattering and excited mumbles went over to his ears as he took his seat back on the front desk, his legs crossed over the other as he did.

He occupied himself with a book as he waited for everyone else to go, something he'd always done. He preferred to stay out a bit later from the faculty by lunch- or any time for that matter: he disliked having the small room full. 

Humming at the sudden inquiry, he Iifted his head up to meet the student's eyes. "Electricity, and after that, light. Just the basics, don't delve too much into the theories", he replied, closing the book. The face that greeted him was rather familiar: it was  one of the few students that were actually doing well in his class. 

"Not to mean it in a bad way but, why do you give off the feeling that you're not part of the class?" Dongwoon was genuinely curious- usually it was the smart kids that get attention, but not this one. The sudden slipping out of the question from his lips made him realize that he thought a bit too out loud- hell, he already felt the atmosphere become darker in a matter of seconds. "I mean, just curious". He followed up almost instantly, repeating what the other had just told him earlier. He wasn't going to be too serious on anything. 

@Son Dongwoon The bell signalling lunch time went off, and along with it, the freshman class. Well, except for Hyejoo. Her hands gathered the notes she had written during the lesson, almost like a reflex after each tutorial; her eyes still focused on the teacher's desk at the very front of the class. Mr Son had yet to leave the classroom, as Hyejoo had noticed over the past few weeks, so she knew this would be the best opportunity to strike. She would have asked the question during class, if not for the unspoken rule of high school that being a nerd is bad. Not that Hyejoo cared, but still.

With her trusty notebook in hand rather than her bag where it usually was, Hyejoo quickly walked towards the teacher, lest he leave the classroom before her, and stopped in front of Mr Son's desk.

"Mr Son, may I know what will be covered in the next 6 weeks, or if not, 1 month?" Hyejoo asked, just like she practised in her head before the lesson had started. "There was a module outline, but it's not very specific, so I'd like to know." Just in case she came off too strong, she quickly added with a smile, "Just curious."

@Yoon Sanha Yes, yes, you are. /mutters to myself, making sure that it's not loud enough for you to hear; shows you a gentle smile as I nod my head slowly/ I should have expected that you'll commit that mistake when you accidentally introduced yourself as me. /chuckles then pokes your hand that is covering your face/ Sunbae~ No need to dwell on it. This time, it's really a common mistake.

@Lee Jinsol Eh? You're a freshman? /Holds on to my head to let all the sudden turn of events sink inside my brain/ So you're not sophomore? And I accidentally went inside the freshman classroom instead? /looks at the bulletin board then looks back at you then suddenly everything sinks in/ OOhh Shame on me! Sorry I am a failure of a sunbae /blushes madly due to shame and covers up my face with my hands/

@Yoon Sanha What? Sophomore? /stares at you with a baffled expression/ Wait, wait, wait -- You're not a freshman? /raises an eyebrow then I walk towards the bulletin board, wondering if I'm the one who's mistaken; lets out a sigh before I look back at you/ Look, I don't mind looking around with you but I think you should look for your classroom first. I'm a freshman, you see.

@Lee Jinsol Oh...you mean a senior? So, we are still the only Sophomore that went to our classroom? /Wonders to myself if it would be weird if suddenly asked you to roam around with me but still decided that I should still try my luck/ Hmm..Then do you want to look around to the places you still haven't visited yet? /looks at you with slight hope that you'll agree/ ...Or not? What ever you want id fine with me. /smiles reassuringly/

@Yoon Sanha /shakes my head, still keeping my smile as I reply/ No, well, at least, I haven't met the other people from our class. I did meet someone from the higher year though. /shrugs then glances at the window, looking at people passing by/ It doesn't seem like anyone is going to come soon. /looks back at you then nods/ I did try roaming around here and there but there's still a lot I haven't seen.

/wanders into the classroom and raises my eyebrows as i see smaller people
Ah..freshmen

@Lee Jinsol Yeah people do that a lot, don't they? /laughs awkwardly, then mutters silently to myself/ Well, I hope I do or else I might die from embarrassment.../Clears my throat/ A-anyway have you met other students already? Or have you tried roaming around the school? /tilts my head/

@Yoon Sanha /grins rather proudly when you said that I have a beautiful name/ Thanks. My parents do have good taste. /laughs out loud but quickly stops myself, biting my lips to stop myself from laughing more/ Sanha, noted. Such common mistake. People do intend to interchange their names with someone else a lot. /smiles cheekily as I extend my hand to shake yours/

@Lee Jinsol Oh? Were classmate? /beams happily at you/ You have a beautiful name~! My name is Lee Jinsol btw, it's nice to meet you. /Offers a hand for you to shake but then suddenly realized that I accidentally said your name instead of mine so I took back my hand and rub my head due to shame/ Sanha! Ermm..I meant my name is Yoon Sanha. Hehe...Shake hands? /Offers my hands for you to shake again/

@Yoon Sanha Yeah. /nods once then takes a few steps towards you, my eyes squinting as I observe your face then my expression relaxes as I smile softly/ It seems like we're classmates. The name's Lee Jinsol.

@Lee Jinsol /I was still admiring the classroom when I suddenly hear your voice and so I accidentally jump a bit due to shock/ U-uh oh hello~ /Smiles sheepishly at you, somewhat feeling embarrass due to my exaggerated reaction/ Yes, I am..Are you also a student?

@Yoon Sanha /I was a few feet away from the classroom when I notice someone entering/ What, is that classmate? Should I make friends, should I not? /hums to myself, shoving my hands into the pocket of my skirt then finally decides to walk in to make friends/ U-um, hi.. /pauses then avoids eye contact as I ask/ Are you a student?

/Peeks inside and quietly enters the classroom/ Woah...this classroom looks nice /smiles to myself, amuse by the style of the classroom/

/opens the window from outside and looks around the place, squinting my eyes when I look at the bulletin board next to the white board at the front/ Is this my class? There's no one around. Guess I'm too early. /closes the window and proceeds on strolling away/
