i just logged in here and wow it brought back lots of memories. i don't know how to navigate this website that much anymore but yeah it was just amazing! big thanks to everyone who kept this roleplay going up until its last breath. hoping everyone is living the life they deserve

The director was on my side every time we talked after. But it was like... painful.

@Hwang Jimin I know what you mean. I was doing it through school but we had a theatre attached to the school so we got to do big shows as well.
It was pretty awesome... but no one ever listened to me...
They just yelled at me. Apparently I had to do costumes, manage almost 20 wooden animals including 2 6 foot tall elephants that kept being thrown at me after songs, keep the green room quiet and the dressing room. I was never in the green rooms or dressing rooms to do that because I had to be everywhere else. So painful haha. But I loved it.
Photography is fun, but its the same problems all over again, I dont have the confidence to tell people how to stand or what not. But you know... I try.

My asst. stage manager is inattentive. And my last years group thinks they broke me because I was nicer and more tolerant last year. But this year I can't...too many idiots this year.

I tried to be a stage manager once... everyone liked me better as the prop/costume manager. so I had to order people around for that and get yelled at by the Flymen, stage manager and asst. stage manager. Was fun times.
I also do the photography thing now, its a similar thing...

It is.
Social anxiety is a pain that I hate enduring.
It makes it difficult when I have to command people or talk to them for one act play because I'm stage manager.
It forces me to socialize outside of those I'm comfortable around :/

Its only bad if there is no one to take that window and fill it.
