*I pause when we reach the bar, slipping onto one of the vacant stools in front of the counter*
I guess you can call me a party crasher, I honestly don't know the birthday girl at all, just that you would be here... However, we can talk about that a bit after, right? I offered to buy you a drink so let me get you one first.
*stops only to motion for the bartender to come over to our location*
what can I get you? Are you a beer kind of guy or a mix drink type of man? I for one like both, but I'll just get a corona for now.
*waits until you order your drink before watching the bartender move to the side to get both of the beverages, only turning my attention back to you within seconds*
so besides my reason for being here, what's your reason? I can think it's either you being a personal friend of the birthday girl or are you here for work? I promise not to tell anyone if it's the latter either.
*chuckles with a playful undertone, hoping that I can break the ice between us before needing to get down to the main reason why I came here*

@ʙᴏʙ ᴍᴏʀʟᴇʏ ᵇᵉˡᵍᶦᵃⁿ ˢʰᵉᵉᵖᵈᵒᵍ /isn't looking forward to this birthday bash as it was my one day off I was obligated to go because of work, the celebrity was an investor in the magazine and we had done various spreads on her so it was only polite to attend;
/I knew some of the attendees having worked with them before in the past or because of mutual acquaintances, so I'm able to pass the time easily enough with casual conversations and easy laughter;
/glances down at the watch on my wrist, noting it's starting to get late and I should start heading back soon, I start to make my way through the crowd to find the person of the hour before I'm unexpectedly stopped by a soft touch on my arm;
/you appear in my line of sight, blinking slightly as I try to recall if we've met before, but is unable to keep from smiling back in a friendly manner;
Donghae is just fine outside of work.
/takes your hand gives a firm handshake, thinking a drink wouldn't be so bad before I leave;

@ʟᴇᴇ ᴅᴏɴɢʜᴀᴇ ᵇˡᵃᶜᵏ ʲᵃᵍᵘᵃʳ *after getting a late night message from my assistant that an editor was going to be at this birthday party, I immediately bring out my black collared shirt, matching black leather jeans, and an uber on standby outside my apartment. It didn't take long before I was already at the club and making my way to the bar, my eyes scanning the room to check for my target for tonight. However, with the amount of people in the room it was hard to spot him*
*What seemed like an hour in on my search, I decide to take a break and get a drink, hoping that after the small pit-stop I can continue on my mission. Stopping at the bar, I pick up a glass of scotch, slipping onto the bar stool while keeping my eyes on the dance floor, expecting the person I am looking for to be out there, but what I didn't expect was for the person to come directly to me- crossing over my line of path. I take a sip of my drink, but being very careful not to take too much for the sake of smelling like alcohol, before making my way over to the stranger. Once caught up to him, I lightly tap his arm in a gentle manner, waiting for our eyes to meet*
hey, Mr.Lee, right? *I pause, letting out a soft chuckle* or should I call you donghae since you're not at work? I don't want to make you feel uncomfortable in any way.
*with that I offer a lopsided grin and my right hand in a most warm welcomed handshake*
