General

Setting-- It is set in ancient China so no, there's no gadgets and whatnot. There however, are things like horse carriages, guzheng, etc etc.

Age-- Demons and Immortals are all at least a thousand years old but their appearances of course, varies.

Powers (Both Immortals and Demons)- For example. Jieqiong's power is water based because of her position as the night deity so she can manipulate water (because yknow tide rises and falls according to the moon) and she has great control over it and with magic, she can do more things like making a water pitcher appear out of nothing.

Relationships between Realms - Demons and the Heaven realm are basically like hell and heaven. They don't exactly get along the best due to their opposites but they are polite with one another. People from the Demon realm are usually more respectful towards the Heaven Realm.

Ranks (Position-wise) - The members of the imperial family [different in every realm]  (Night Deity, Demon King/Princess/Prince, Heavenly Emperor and Empress) are the most respected. The ranks are as follows within the four realms :

Ranks (Level-wise) - The higher your level, the more respected you are within the realms and the more powerful you are compared to the ones below you. The following is the ranking. Please note that in order to progress up, you need to go through trials (prophecies, quests, love trial, etc.) 

Superior God (Usually 150,000+ years old + has gone through 3 trials ) - the most respected throughout the realms and the most powerful. (rarest)
Higher God (Usually 100,000+ years old + has gone through 2 trials)
High Deity (Usually 50,000+ years old + has gone through 1 trial)
Regular Deity (The most common)
Fairy/Immortal (Usually just 100+ years old + is the weakest among all the ranks)

True Form-- In this rp, if you're from the heaven realm, demon realm, fox tribe or the flower realm, you have a 'true form' which is what your character originally is. If you're from the flower realm, your true form would be a plant and it can range from berries to cucumbers to the peony flower. If you're from the heaven realm, your true form would be any animal, be it mythical or regular (for example, a pigeon or a dragon, phoenix maybe?) Basically, when your spiritual energy is heavily wounded, you'd revert back to your true form. Fox tribe true forms are self-explanatory. They're foxes. You can definitely turn into your true form when you're fighting too. 
Side Note : Foxes are all from the fox tribe, so if you're from other realms / in other realms, you wouldn't be a fox! 

Heaven/Flower Realm (Immortals)

Powers-- Your powers would be based on your true form, and who you're a child of. For example, the white dragon who's the night princess would have powers that are water based. You're accepted as long as it makes sense. You can do magic as a side (eg, making things appear out of thin air such as a water pitcher)

Entrance to Mortal Realm-- Immortals only use this when they HAVE to. For example, undergoing training or punishment. Immortals can definitely go down to the mortal realm without going through this entrance. The difference is that, if they go down normally, they keep their memories and their powers but if they go down through this entrance, they're stripped of their memories and powers for one lifetime.

Mortals

Mortals-- In this rp, mortals obviously do not have powers and they do pray to the heaven realm but not everyone believes in them. They fear the demon realm but they do not know when an immortal is walking among them because everyone looks human. The only thing that sets them apart is the fact that immortals have a true form and can do magic. They can however, be an immortal in their past life. I'm setting limits for that tho.

You can have any occupation you'd like. Some ideas would be court ministers, princesses, dukes, duchess, knight, even a vegetable stall owner.

Demons

Demons are feared in the mortal realm, and the demons fear the Heaven realm.

Powers-- They too have powers. The more you've cultivated, the more powerful you are. Basically, you can do dark magic as a side but the strength of that depends on how much you've cultivated.

Fox Tribe

They are unwilling to interfere with the issues and problems of the other realm. However, the heaven realm as well as the demon realm treats them with the upmost respect due to their history of power. Once upon a time, they helped bring peace across the realms even before the current Emperor of Heaven was throned.

Powers-- They too have powers. The more you've cultivated, the more powerful you are. They are capable of turning into foxes. If they cut off one of their nine tails, it can be turned into a powerful weapon of choice.

Ranks-- The fox tribe takes ranking very seriously despite their laidback attitude. They treat the 5 rulers with upmost respect and refers to them as "your highness/your majesty".
