As queen, Yuqi knew it was her responsibility to show up at the Emperor's banquet. Usually, she could get away with the excuse of being too busy but she knew this time, it wouldn't be that easy to get away considering the seas still saw her as a newly-wedded woman, or rather, still newlyweds when compared to the couples who had already been married for hundreds of thousands of years so here she was, her invitation card in her hand as she donned pale pink robes, her fan in her other hand as usual.

"Higher Goddess Yuqi." The guards had greeted her, their hands clasped over each other as they bowed towards the still young queen. She smiled as she handed them her invitation card, heading in with no problems whatsoever as she began tapping her fan against herself whilst she walked, looking around the place that was not at all new to her. She didn't know if her husband was going to show up but if he did, well, that'd be the blessing of the rest of the attendees. The pair had probably never attended an event together yet, so it would definitely be quite a sight.

Yuqi didn't make her way straight towards the great hall and instead opted to wander around the entrance of the great hall, admiring the grand sight before her. It was the complete opposite of the plainness she was used to at her own land, but if she had to choose, she'd always opt for the simple life she had back at home. She exhaled softly as she reached into the sleeves of her robes before pulling out a box and opening it to reveal a huge pearl she'd fished from the lake by her cave. It was definitely still her favourite gift to gift, it was easy and simple. With a small smile tugged up on her lips, she kept the box back inside her sleeves before making her way into the great hall and allowing the attendants to lead her up to the first few tables at the front.

As she walked, she'd noticed a long white carpet laid on the floor leading all the way to the front, up the stairs and ended at the higher level where the emperor would be seated along with his wife and child. The other tables were situated on each side of the carpet, the ones on the right facing the left and vice versa. On top of the tables already laid wine cups and bowls for the banquet as well as a bowl of fruit. She caught sight of a few unfamiliar faces arriving as she sat down but she made no move to greet them.

perhaps you could call it a flaw in personality; a cynical pessimist at finest, but there was always something about birthday banquets that managed to hit a nerve within hyunjin. it was a political ploy. an act, camouflaged as a joyous event as it tested all those whom choose to attend. 'not that we are given much of a choice', she thought, a soft click rolling off her tongue. with a final glance towards the mirror, hyunjin made some final adjustments to both her robe and hair ornaments as she straightened herself out, fixing her posture to be one suited of the flower tribe leader.

"shall we head out?" she spoke, a now benevolent smile accompanying her face as she glanced towards a child through the reflection of the mirror. "yes mother." he responded, voice stiff as his hands tightened onto the box within his hold. with gentle steps and a light airy laugh escaping her lips, the camellia goddess her heels as she made her away over to the young boy, running her hands through the fines of his hair to fix its style carefully. "as we'll be entering the heavenly palace, remember to mind your manners and introduce yourself accordingly." she reminded, the same smile still playing against her lips as she let go emitting a soft hum. "well regardless, so long as you stick closely to me you'll be just fine." she reassured to which he gave a firm nod with now a wide grin. it was obvious that not only was he nervous but that nervousness was also accompanied great excitement.

seeing how the boy had finally relaxed, hyunjin reached out to take one of his hands in her own, giving it as tight squeeze as her other extended to take hold of the invitation. "lets go," she told him once more and with that they were gone, nothing more than the after image of petals and leaves scattering as they fell to the ground.

"greetings to the flower tribe leader." one of the palace guards spoke up upon her arrival, clearly intimidating the young boy besides her as he jolted, unconsciously taking a step back. "its been a while," she responded, a curt nod and bow as she acknowledged the man's presence, passing on her letter of invitation. "i hope you have been well," he speaks once more, removing his spear as they made way to open up the path. never letting go of the boy's hand, the two slowly began to make their way up the stairs, entering the valley to the great hall.

On his hand was a piece of paper, he read thoroughly into it. "A banquet?" He mumbled onto himself as he was still ready, it was an invitation for him to go to the Heavenly Emperor's Birthday Banquet and it's quite surprising that he got one since well, he wasn't expecting it. After reading, he sets the invitation down on table and sat down on the chair, Junhui wasn't so sure if he wants to go or not.

His lips pursed in as think through it, should he or should he not go? Junhui wasn't the type to be at any social events, he wasn't fond of being in a crowd but then the inivitation was quite tempting. He may be a traveller that goes through every realm out there; The mortal realm, the flower realm, and even the demin realm but never did he visited the heavenly realm and there's a reason for it, it was the strictness if the place, one can go there if he/she has some kind of business with any of the higher ups in that realm or like what Junhui have right now, an invitation to have access in going there. So mayhaps, he'll go to see what the place looks like, this was some once in a life-time opportunity for him so why not grab it, no? So that was the decision he made and finalized it, go there.

The next day, Junhui was all-dressed up and ready to go the heavenly realm. Upon his hand was a gift he's going to give to the Heavenly Emperor, they were baked goods that was made by Junhui himself, ingredients that they consists came from different realms, rare and expensive. He hopes that the Emperor would like them, he had no other idea what gift he should give to him but this might as well do than nothing.

Digging into one of his pockets, he pulled out a small bag and from that bag he pulled out one of the many white-coloured marbles from inside. These were no ordinary marbles that he holds but these kind of marbles are the ones that made it possible for him to travel all around, anywhere that he wants to be. These marbles were made by himself, it was something he was working on for a long time, attempt were made, failure happened multiple times until he manage to be successful, so now he had no difficulties in travelling from one realm to another unlike before.

After putting back the small bag inside his pocket, Junhui lifted his hand and muttered 'Heavenly Realm' before throwing the marble with much force onto the ground and an explosion of white smoke occured around him. Then the transportation was now taking place, within the span of 10 seconds, Junhui knew he had arrived and started waving his free hand to clear off the smoke around him. What he had saw awed him, the heavenly realm was quite mesmerizing, it was exactly what he had envisioned from the books he had read about it, but of course, the real deal is much better.

"May I help you?" A voice had interrupted Junhui's daze moment and looked at the person who owned the voice. It was a guard standing by the what he assumes is the heavenly gates, an eyebrow raised towards the fox. "Oh," Junhui finally realized and scrambled to get his invitation from his other pocket then he showed it to the guard, afterwards he was permitted to go inside. As he ventures inside, Junhui was getting more fascinated by the minute, it was a good that he decided to go after all.

When Hyungsik had returned home in the evening it was with exhaustion in his muscles and a hard-to-fight urge to skip washing himself and just go to sleep. However, he managed to push himself to bathe just outside the back of the house with a cloth and some heated water from a small fire. Once that was done he changed into his sleeping robes and was about to lay his head on the pillow when he noticed a curious object upon his vanity. Squinting for a moment he pulled his blankets off to reach out and take the small card that certainly wasn't there earlier.

"An invitation?" he mumbled to himself, looking over the piece of paper with a minimal amount of trepidation. Rather than questioning it too much the mortal just assumed someone had put it in his pack at the market this morning. Perhaps it was a joke from the local village children. With that Hyungsik chuckled and put the card back on his table, finally laying down to sleep. A Heavenly banquet? He wonders what that would be like, and it's with those thoughts that he drifts into unconsciousness a few minutes later.

what's going on ?
the guests will now be arriving from around the different realms, mingle around upon arrival aha. the arrival of the imperial family will be made soon so watch out for that! details will be added within the heavenly emperor's speech. all the other rooms within the rp + dreamworld has been set to hidden so that roleplaying will be focused within the heaven realm!

how's it gonna happen?
well, you write! third pov, first pov, novella, semi-para, multi-para, it's all welcomed! you may also talk like how you would in an ic chatroom AFTER you've made your arrival post. how you arrive is up to you, be it through flying on a sword, on a mystical being, just appearing out of mist, it's up to you but be sure to show the guard your invitation card or you might not be let into the building. if you're a mortal, you'll be arriving as you would within dreamworld.

how long is this going to last for?
phase 1 will last for 24 hours according to the KST timezone for easier calculation!

what can you do, and what can't you do?
you may venture around the rooms placed under the heaven realm! you're very much free to roam around. also, please keep in mind that the heaven realm takes etiquette very seriously especially in the presence of the imperial family so please be sure to check out the info room if you're unsure about that! overall, just have fun and let loose!
