@❀ reece king ᶠˡᵒʷᵉʳ ᵗʳᶦᵇᵉ ᶜᵒ⁻ˡᵉᵃᵈᵉʳ Shaking his head and waving his hands at the other, he quickly refutes and tries not to show any signs of panic in case it were to attract the wrong kind of snake. 'I can assure you those are not my intentions! I am merely here to acquire one for my boss,' he replies while summoning a badge that identifies him with a researching unit in the demon realm, handing this to Reece to examine if need be. To be quite honest, he wouldn't be surprised if he still ended up getting kicked of the mountain and sent back to his realm. In fact, it's what he secretly hoped for, but he feared his boss and her potential anger more than he feared failing to complete this task.

'Not sure if it helps, but we are trying to see if there is a way we can use them to better understand ourselves,' he admits, trying to keep his attention on the other but keeping a fearful and cautious eye on their surroundings. Half of him wants to bring out his scythe for comfort, but he knows that might only alarm Reece and make it seem like he wants to pick a fight. Ten was a firm believer in peaceful communication despite his origins, and he was hopeful to have the other's cooperation in his mission so he could get the hell out of there, but it was okay if that wasn't a possibility.

@✪ ten leechaiyakul ᵈᵉᵃᵗʰ ᵈᵉᶦᵗʸ Intense lavender colored eyes stared at Ten as Reece waited for the man to respond. His arms had folded across his chest, his eyes narrowing when the grin appeared on the other male's face, Reece watched as the man stood, noting that the other male's height before watching the man bow. He blinked at the reason for Ten being here and the bashful grin on the other male's face, not really surprised by the use of mental voice because he was known to do it himself when you couldn't be bothered to open his mouth.
"You're telling me, you came here to get a celestial snake that could very well take away your immortality, assuming you have immortality?" He asked.

He watched as the taller male pulled on his hood and the effects that came afterward that soon disappeared with a deep breath. Reece let out a small hum as Ten spoke before he reached up to flip a few locs of neatly dreaded hair over his shoulders, looking around the area before looking Ten in the eyes.
"Mhm, ok but why should I trust you? Celestial snakes are very, very dangerous things. For all I know you could be planning to use it against me somehow."

@❀ reece king ᶠˡᵒʷᵉʳ ᵗʳᶦᵇᵉ ᶜᵒ⁻ˡᵉᵃᵈᵉʳ Turning his head back toward the other, face void of any set expression just yet so he can size Reece up accurately, he offers a small but kind grin and rises to his feet to lower himself in a bow. 'I seek a celestial snake for my studies... would you mind helping me decipher which snakes are which?' there is a bit of a bashful grin on his face when he asks, and as it accompanies the scratching in the back of his scalp as well as the fact that he's using his mental voice instead of his actual one, he feels even more out of place than he did before Reece coming over to him.

He flips his hood back on and lessens his livelihood a little, skin becoming paler and more comfortable for him honestly, but he's quick to correct it with another deep breath and a little more concentration. 'If it was not obvious, I am not really familiar with this area.' A bit of an understatement considering he's never actually ventured into this realm aside from the times he's accompanied a superior and confined himself to his quarters, but even still, he continues: 'I promise I will leave once I have what I need, and all I ask is a way to determine which snakes are which.'

@✪ ten leechaiyakul ᵈᵉᵃᵗʰ ᵈᵉᶦᵗʸ Reece hated snakes, he hated them with a passion. He didn't like reptiles in general honestly, which was weird considering he was nature diety even if plants were his domain and not animals. His hate, however, didn't compare to the love he had for the view of the sky the peak of the mountain had. It was the only reason he had come up here because it was the only thing that managed to relax him completely plus he wasn't incredibly attached to his immortality so the prospect didn't scare him as much as it probably should've.
Moving carefully, he made his way up the mountain, makings sure to avoid every snake because even he didn't fear losing his immortality, he still didn't want to happen. Along the way, he caught sight of a hooded person and immediately he became suspicious. Eyes narrowing, he turned into white rose petals that formed a trail into the air as he made his way over to the other male before he returned to human form right behind the man. "Any particular reason your're here?" He asked, tilting his head as he watched the back of the man's head.

@❀ reece king ᶠˡᵒʷᵉʳ ᵗʳᶦᵇᵉ ᶜᵒ⁻ˡᵉᵃᵈᵉʳ Heavy pants and a quick dab at his forehead with the sleeve of his cloak, he finally decides to settle against the nearest available sturdy surface, tossing back his hood and hanging his head. Too many times has he fallen on this mountain chasing after any old snake he found but also running form them since he couldn't differentiate which ones were dangerous or not. All he needed to do was catch one celestial snake. Just one. "The biggest one you can capture," said his boss before he set out, but despite him being a fan of snakes, the possibility of losing his life for good looming over his head kinda made this a little scary. And though his huffs beginning to stabilize, though he's able to take a deep breath and carefully study his surroundings, his fears start to trickle atop his skin with his sweat... He takes a moment to lower his head again and huff out a tiny whisper: "Why is having a living body so taxing?"
