@✿ heechul 。 After fighting it a tad, she let one more little yawn go before tucking back her curls until they fell behind her back, blinking steadfastly too in an attempt to fully wake up as the caffeine coursed through her veins. While dabbing the little foam away from her lip, she paced around to the pantry in order to snag a pinch of sugar that'd she later sprinkle atop the foam to cut any bitter taste away, before she delicately stirred it with her pinky. "Ah, the pool. Yes it's beautiful, and nice to sit out in the sun." Catching onto the words that he picked up, she was pleasantly surprised how calm and collected he was when speaking in English, a trait she'd always admired about people learning the language as a second. "I think after I might go to the pool too, and lay out in the sun."

@✿ ash 。 Continuing to sip at his drink Heechul allowed his eyes to close, resting them for a moment or two as the golden rays of the sun started pouring through the curtains. It was warm against his skin and even though the caffeine was starting to wake him up, the soft heat of the morning tempted him to go back to bed. He opened his eyes eventually, nodding a few times to answer Ash's question and finishing his sip, holding the mug closer to his chest with both hands. "It is nice. Very...peace." It really is, he thinks, a lot more peaceful than his hectic schedule of variety show to variety show that he's been doing for years. Add to that his YouTube channel and music shows...being able to wake up on his own time in the morning is a blessing even if he doesn't believe in those. "Hit up...? Ah, go to?" He thinks for a moment before shrugging. "Not sure. Going to pool, maybe."

@✿ heechul 。 Once she deftly passed over his mug she was left cradling hers in her palm, reveling in the warmth that coated it and sunk into her skin, comforting her as she was roused awake further by the potent drink. Soon enough she could feel the sun rise even more, rays shining through the beautiful windows and so unabashedly observed the wondrous outsides as he spoke, his accent quite endearing. "It's nice to meet you too, Heechul. Are you enjoying it here so far? God I love this place." Reminiscing to the last time she was here, her curls bounced elegantly as she dipped her head back in thought, the mug hitting the counter with a soft clang as she set it down, nimble fingertips gripping the island as she thought back. "I think I might hit up the spa today, what about you?"

@✿ ash 。 Waiting patiently near the island Heechul leaned forward with his elbows on the counter top, a brief shiver from the cold stone shooting up his spine. He watches as the woman works with the espresso machine, elegant and sure - far different from his bumbling attempts to make something decent other than rice with a side of kimchi. "Thank you." he half-mumbles, still waking up a little as he stands up straight to take the mug from her gratefully. Likewise he places the protein drink on the counter to give the latte his full attention. He even manages a small smile before also bringing his cup to his lips, blowing on it gently before taking a drink. It's delicious, and he tells her so. "It's good, Ash씨. 나는 우주- ah, no, um. I am Kim Heechul. Nice to meet you."

@✿ heechul 。 Tucking the tin with almond milk under the spout to foam up, she shot him another smile upon hearing his words to confirm her cordial gesture, and so her fingers fly into double time in order to prepare both drinks. In no time she had produced two mugs with the most elegant leaf print atop the foam, to which she offered one over with quaint laughter. "Here you go. My name is Ashley by the way, but you can call me Ash." After a delayed paused she perched the mug at her lips for a sip, eyes fluttering shut as the warmth seeped down on a rather brisk mountain morning. When her eyes fluttered open her head cocked to the side curiously as her attention was drawn right back to the other. "And to whom can I make this acquaintance?"

@✿ ash 。 Although he would miss having something solid for breakfast Heechul didn't have it in himself to try his hand at cooking once more. In fact, he shouldn't have done it in the first place considering his history in the kitchen. Even something as simple as a frozen meal gets destroyed. Shaking his drink he screwed off the top and took a sip, something with chocolate and bananas that probably tasted ten times better than the disaster in the microwave. "Latte?" he questioned, catching a stray drop of his drink on the side of the bottle before capping it again. "Uh, yes, please. I like latte." His English, although broken, still manages to get the point across. Heechul secretly thanks himself for earning an English degree all those years ago.

@✿ heechul 。 The wretched smell finally hit her nostrils and nearly had her heaving, but she kept her lips pursed to hold back any reaction other than a smile, because she was determined to make at least a friend or two while she was on vacation. "Oh, like a frozen meal? I see, I see...." While her fingers nimbly got the ingredients together for a cappuccino, she lifted her head up to shine a smile over in his direction while lifting a mug up as if to highlight her words. "would you like a latte? after that mess I'm sure you can use a little kickstart for the day, aside from a protein shake." a more mellifluous laugh left her lips as the espresso began to mask the stench and instead filled the room with a pleasant roast-y aroma.

@✿ ash 。 He's used to it by now, things like backhanded compliments and rude comments you weren't meant to hear. After this long in the industry it's commonplace. Heechul doesn't have to catch the woman's words to understand her intentions, but when he looks up to glance at her he chooses to ignore them. Tossing the packaging inside the trash bin he instead regards the microwave with evil eyes. "It was supposed to be one of those, uh, what do you call them...microwave meals. Eggs and sausage?" He shrugs once before heading towards the refrigerator, pulling out a simple protein shake instead. "Either way I'm not eating it now, obviously. It's probably a mess."

@✿ heechul 。 With messy tresses and a long silk robe that fluttered behind her as she rushed into the kitchen to engulf her first cup of coffee for the day, echoes of strange beeps accompanied by an unsure voice made her eyebrows furrow pensively, though when she made it around the corner to view the minute chaos, a little snort slipped past her lips.".....that's gonna cost you." It was a snide comment that was made under her breath and not meant to be heard at all as she slid past the man's slender frame to approach the espresso machine and to begin fiddling with it as she inquired sweetly, "what are you trying to make? smells a little burnt in here."

When an extremely loud bang comes from the microwave Heechul jumps and blinks several times in the direction of the appliance. "Oh, that doesn't sound good..." he laments, inching towards the device before it gives off another dangerous popping noise and jumping back. Quick as he can he reaches for the electrical cord and unplugs the microwave. It fades into shut down, but ominous noises still come from the inside, and he checks the packaging of what he put inside it. "...microwave for, oh...I had to microwave it for 20 seconds not 20 minutes."
