royal pain: song yuqi.

almost decades ago, it was during the song dynasty, the dante family declared war on the song royal family. to appease king hyeontae's anger, the song family offered the king any princess of his choice. as many proclaimed princess xuan qi to be the most alluring princess of all, well- known for her ethereal beauty. she definitely captivated his attention. the dante king handpicked princess xuan qi, and in an instant, she became the king's favourite concubine, as he frequested to her chambers.

within a short span of time, princess yuqi was born into the world.  with the dante blood running in her blood vessel, and the first name of the song royal dynasty family,  she was the creation of the dante king and the song royal family princess. baby yuqi had inherited her mothers' predominant chinese features, and resembled way too much like concubine xuanqi. 

in the castle, many were aware how concubine xuan qi was of envy to queen jaselyn.  afterall, the king favored concubine xuan qi more than the queen ever since concubine xuan qi entered the kingdom as one of his lady. it was no doubt that the newborn princess yuqi was adored by almost every dante family, except one - queen jaselyn. yuqi was displeasing to the eyes of the dante queen, for reminding the queen that she was the manifestation of the king and his favourite concubine ual escapades. to say that the queen hated concubine xuan qi's and princess yuqi's presence would be a mere understatement.

and she remains untainted until that day she gives it up for the one she loves, to let loose of herself.
