@☆ (α) wonwoo j. "I wasn't being serious I was just hoping that would make you laugh so I could see your smile and it worked~" Jennie crossed her arms and turned her head to the side as her face turned a very light pink
@☆ (ø) jennie k. The sudden shift makes Wonwoo laugh for once, shaking his head at the cheekiness of the other. "My, and who said I was trying to kiss you, huh?" He teased back at the other.
@☆ (α) wonwoo j. Jennie didn't know much about Wonwoo's parents since she never really saw them, she could see that this topic changed the mood of the conversation tremendously so she decided to change it "You know if we keep talking about something so sad you'll never get me to kiss you again" Jennie teased trying to lighten the mood a bit
@☆ (ø) jennie k. He scrunches his nose at the thought. "You don't know her, though. She's not truly a parent, just a person who had a child." Wonwoo remembers vividly the portion of time after his father passed away when his mother had tried to be a mother once again. It was so brief, and Wonwoo was so guarded, yet it still hurt to have her give him up once again. Quiet, introverted Wonwoo was still too much trouble for the woman to be bothered with, it seemed. "Thanks for your concern, though. I did cherish my father quite dearly."
@☆ (α) wonwoo j. Jennie was a bit surprised at Wonwoo's reaction to her kiss as he moved closer towards her, Jennie's smile slowly turned to bit of a frown as Wonwoo said he didn't talk to his mother "Some advice hold onto them while they're still her Wonwoo cause once they're gone you can never get them back"
@☆ (ø) jennie k. "Oh? How unexpected of you," He teased, pausing at the peck to his cheek. "Never in a million years did I think *you* would ever wanna kiss me, babe." Not that he was really complaining, though, as he shamelessly moved closer. Though his parents...that might be a topic for a later date. "Mom's fine, I'd assume. We don't talk, so I wouldn't really know."
@☆ (α) wonwoo j. Jennie smiled at him "Maybe I am~" she teased back moving closer to him and pecking his cheek, before moving away "Are your parents good?~" she asked with a smile swinging her legs against the chair lightly with her hands holding onto the chair so he wouldn't fall
@☆ (ø) jennie k. "I'm glad that you think so, Jennie. And I could say the same for you." Perhaps they'd both really matured since the last time they talked, with both being a bit less explosive. He wondered when Jennie would have seen him smile since he was quite sparing with his emotions in that sense. "My, Jennie, are you flirting with me?" He simply teased, tossing the other a cheeky wink.
@☆ (α) wonwoo j. "Well you do seem easier to talk to now~" Jennie bit her lower lip as she listened to him "Just cause I serve drinks doesn't mean I have to like it" pouts "I wanna see you smile, one thing I remember is that you had a pretty smile, so I wanna see you if you still do~" Jennie poked your arm trying to make you laugh or even crack a smile
@☆ (ø) jennie k. "Oh yeah?" He a brow at the thought. He still wasn't everyone's cup of tea, per se, but he had tried the past few years to be a bit less stand offish. How well that was working, though, had yet to be seen. "I'm glad you think so. I've been trying to be more...approachable. Maybe I'm just getting softer with age." He shook his head at the response as he finished his drink. "Don't worry about it. Though, it is interesting to see a bartender who doesn't drink."
@☆ (α) wonwoo j. Jennie chuckles as Chanyeol assumed many alphas fawn over her, whuch wasn't really true but she liked it when he complimented her so she didn't say anything "You do seem nicer~" Jennie said taking another sip from her drink before giving up on it and pushed it away "I really don't like drinking sorry that I wasted your money~"
@☆ (ø) jennie k. "Yeah, I'm sure it is, to see me with a bunch of kids. I would have never thought myself for it either...I guess I do have some soft spots," Wonwoo admits, shaking his head at the other's seemingly obligatory teasing. "Ey, I'm just being objective. I'm sure many alphas have spent their time fawning over you." Hell, though, Jennie had gotten a lot prettier than the last time he'd seen her, he had to admit. She'd grown into someone much stronger and mature than he'd expected. "It's a compliment, I promise. I'm not quite as backhanded as I used to be, I promise."
@☆ (α) wonwoo j. "I'm sure it's quite a site~" Jennie teases, she's a bit shocked hearing the other hasn't found a mate, but as soon as he compliments her eyes lit up thinking of all the teasing "Aww, you think I'm attractive and sweet~" Jennie repeatedly poked his arm a few times "Wait is that a compliment coming from you since you're not much of a site" Jennie laughed a bit
@☆ (ø) jennie k. "Yeah, I didn't expect to like it as much as I do, either. Maybe I'm a bit too harsh with them sometimes, but they have to learn discipline somewhere." He casually left out the fact that the kids call him 'Sargent Jeon' for how serious he could be sometimes, knowing that the other would just have a field day with that information. "A mate?" Wonwoo a brow at the speculation. "No, I don't think I'm the kind of person meant for a mate. What about you, though? You're sweet and attractive, I'm sure you've settled down by now..."
@☆ (α) wonwoo j. "Wonwoo teaching kids? I would of never guessed, you seem to serious to teach kids~" Jennie teased as she poked his arm "So, have you found a mate yet Mr.Serious?" Jennie asumed that Wonwoo would have a mate by now
@☆ (ø) jennie k. Wonwoo nods a bit at the words. "I see...yes, I've been preoccupied as well. I started working as a trainer and it takes up just about all of my time these days...but it's something I quite enjoy. Especially teaching the younger kids self defense."
@☆ (α) wonwoo j. "I've just been around, I actually haven't been doing much these days, I'm basically always working, meeting people and that's all~" Jennie took another sip from her drink
@☆ (ø) jennie k. "No judgement, as long as I'm not gonna have to carry you home," He teased with a laugh. "So tell me, what's been going on these days?"
@☆ (α) wonwoo j. "Yeah I don't, these nothing wrong with that" Jennie let out a huff and puffed out her cheeks as they clinked there glasses together, she drank a sip of the beer and pulled away
@☆ (ø) jennie k. "Oh yeah? Don't hold your alcohol well?" He teased before ordering another whiskey and a beer for the other. "Cheers, then," Wonwoo clinked their glasses together before taking a drink, already a tad buzzed from the last.
@☆ (α) wonwoo j. "Mm, I don't really drink but when I do I normally just have beer so~" Jennie's cheeks get a bit red think about the last time she got drunk, she cringed a bit at the thought
@☆ (ø) jennie k. "Of course. Sorry if I was prying." Wonwoo watched as the other sat down beside him and another bartender checked in for the shift. He finishes up the rest of his whiskey before turning back to the other. "So what do you like drinking then, Jennie?"
@☆ (α) wonwoo j. "Yeah, but I don't really like talking about it" Jennie took walked out from behind the counter and sat next to Wonwoo as her shift just ended "Mmm we can stay here if you want, I don't really mind, we can do whatever you want~" she smiled and rested her her arms on the counter
@☆ (ø) jennie k. Wonwoo is a bit stunned by the words, just nodding simply. How odd...he'd known this girl for quite some time, yet only ever on that completely surface level. It still was a wonder, though, that he hadn't heard about such things sooner. It must have been hard for her, he thinks as he knits his brows. Everyone around here seemed to have such a terrible upbringing, perhaps why they had all become so aloof or aggressive. "I guess that would do it, huh. You have to be strong to not let that kind of thing break you." He himself had gone through so much less, and yet he still allowed it to completely jade his life. "That could be nice. Maybe I can buy you a drink so you wan have a proper break? Unless you're sick of the pub by now."
@☆ (α) wonwoo j. "Well you kinda mature once the person that killed your parents kidnaps you, you know" Jennie said sarcastically as she wiped the counter "Hey, my shift is almost over then we could hangout properly"
@☆ (ø) jennie k. "I see..." Wonwoo eyes the girl as she so quickly took care of the issues at the pub. Yeah, she was totally different now in the best kind of way. Not that Wonwoo was one to make friends easily, but she definitely still caught his eye. "No, I get that. Gotta be stern so you're not walked all over, right? So different from that cute little thing you were back when I knew you."
@☆ (α) wonwoo j. "I only started working here last week, so that's probably why. Excuse me for a moment" Jennie saw some guy being a jerk to one of the waiters and stuttered over to sort them out, luckily the man's friends took him out and she walked back to the bar "Sorry about that, sometimes drunk people can be a real pain in the " Jennie chuckled
@☆ (ø) jennie k. "I'm glad you don't seem to hate me too much," He said with a bit of a teasing smile as he sipped on his drink. Wonwoo was surprised too by how pleasant the company now was. Perhaps they'd both matured enough to move past whatever they disliked back then. Despite Wonwoo still being a quite distant person, he wasn't nearly as brash and reactive as he was back then. Even he could admit that the pressure back then lead him to not be such a great person. "I can't believe I haven't seen you here before. I go out drinking all the time, I must always just miss you."
@☆ (α) wonwoo j. "How could I forget you" Jennie said with a grin cause although they never really liked each other, for Jennie Wonwoo was a big part of her childhood in the pack since she didn't really have one there "I'm good, I meam I've been better" Jennie smiled as she served the person next to Wonwoo, since she was still working. Jennie never really blamed Wonwoo for being rude to her cause that just wasn't in her nature, she actually used to liked to bicker with him when they were small
@☆ (ø) jennie k. "Hm, you remember me now?" He says in a bit of a teasing tone, giving her a cheeky grin. He wonders if she's that same bubbly person he knew in what seemed like a past life. "Yeah, I'm good. In a way better place than I was when we first knew each other." Wonwoo knew he wasn't the best to be around, but especially a few years back. There was a lot of pain there, and he handled it by being rude and aggressive to everyone he knew. But now, at least, he was functional. "What about you?"
