@♕ choi san。 "go away, woo," wooyoung was more surprised at the tone that san used instead of the words spoken to him, it was flat and serious — a tone that was rarely used by the other, usually its laced with playfulness and sometimes, sarcasm. "i don't want to talk," he bit his bottom lip at that, what can he do if san refuses to talk? absolutely nothing but of course, he'll still persist despite it because the longer this gets dragged on, the wider the gap between them would grow.
"okay," he muttered, his voice too soft to be heard by the other. he turned around and he was about to walk away and leave the older male alone until he heard a soft squeak of behind him which made him turned back to look behind him and there he sees san peeking out in between the small gap of the slightly ajar door. "well... what do you want?" wooyoung blinked at the question thrown at him, what does he want from him? well, it's obvious, to talk. "uh," he faced the other, his lips pursed in. "to talk," it was simple as that though in reality, is this really something to even talk about?
"i've noticed the way that you were avoiding me, so i'm here to ask why." he said even though he already knew the answer, "is it because of what i've said during the fan meeting?" he went straightforward to it, not wanting to beat around the bush. "is it because i said that you're not my bestfriend?' the last few words came out like a whisper, not sure if san even heard him say it but he hope so because he doesn't really want to repeat it.
@♛ jung wooyoung。 san flinched quietly at the sudden knocks against his shared room with mingi. when he heard wooyoung's voice on the other side, he inhaled sharply, and he held onto his pillow even more. he had no idea why that still surprised him. wooyoung wouldn't leave him alone at times like this, but san wasn't certain what he wanted. what did he want wooyoung to do, and what did he want to hear from the other? he bit his lower lip, and he remained silent for a few moments. should he stand up and open the door, or should he just let wooyoung be, and recover on his own? it felt like this was something that he wasn't even supposed to be sulking over, but he truly couldn't help it. he felt more and more like a child, but he was in no mood to meet the other's face then.
he bit onto his lower lip, and he exhaled sharply. "go away, woo," he said, hopefully loud enough for the younger lad to hear. "i don't want to talk," he added. would the other stay and wait for san to talk? or would wooyoung leave him alone and hang out with the rest? he didn't know which he preferred more, but he felt... immature — childish. this was something they could talk out (though he wasn't sure why they even had to talk about it; it felt too childish), so why should he delay it even further? besides... wooyoung might find other ways to try and talk to him later on, and it was better not to make this last longer than it should have.
and as such, he pushed himself up from the bed, slowly going to the door, and he held onto the doorknob. he inhaled, breathing deeply as he stared at the door. why was he even nervous? why was his heart beating so fast? he gulped down, and he slowly opened the door, but only enough for him to peek outside. he bit onto the flesh of his lower lip, before he spoke. "well... what do you want?"
@♕ choi san。 perhaps wooyoung felt guilt within him, it had hit him in a rather late timing but for him, that happening back in their fan meeting earlier was all fun and games for him though with san's behavior, he thinks he may have just went too far.
「but your bestfriend is san—」
「no!」
it was a quick answer, no hesitation to spare but in his defense, yeosang and him had always been together for the total of five years now whilst san and him had been together not long after — that's why wooyoung chose the other but he guesses that made the blond upset. throughout debut, it was seen that the two of them were the closest to each other, always seen together so everyone expected for wooyoung to choose san but he didn't, he chose yeosang but hey, the degree of being friends is usually about how long you've been together through thick and thin... right? he thought so but in all honestly, he felt more comfortable around san, felt more at ease by his side so why not him? well maybe it's the fact that wooyoung may or may not see the older as someone far more than a bestfriend that goes out from the spectrum of being platonic and mayhaps started developing feelings that weren't exactly that he deemed necessary yet he did anyway.
now being outside of the shared room of san and mingi, his lips are pursed in as he felt a bit nervous just by being there. what is he being nervous about? it's not like he's going to confess or anything, he just needs to talk to san and fix this. after gathering up enough courage, he raised his fist and knocked on the door for a few times before speaking up in a volume that's considered soft yet still loud enough for him to be heard by the other.
"sannie—" wooyoung started by calling out for the other with use of a nickname given by the younger but is used by everyone in the group (which made him jealous because quote on quote, "only i can get to call him that!"). "are you in there?" he asked and he already that san's in there since mingi just told him earlier. "can i come in? i want to uhm... talk with you."
Limpid beads of Elysian tears cascade on glass, forming hazy outlines of abstract figures to be traced by fingertips: cold and numb. Warm waft patches fog on its surface, painting temporary desires of the soul; silhouettes fade into clouds of pale figments. She watches, her windows paned with ceramic enthrallment—it breaks; a bite on the bottom lip followed by an inaudible sigh. Although passing, the moment was delicately daubed with tinges of peach: alacrity.
The sheet rises and falls rhythmically to which Heejin harmonized her nimble steps; each flight of the stairs treated like delicate lily pads to which she hopped onto in a manner of a pixie—without the dust. Soon, she finds herself gripping on the shaft of her umbrella, holding it above her head – masking her from both the heavens and the earth. It was almost midnight and the moon was nowhere, lost along with the stars; sky blanketed by heavy clouds. There was no lightning nor thunder; only waning street lights and the pitter patter of rain.
She was unsure as to why she decided to walk under such an evening shower, the trail of her footsteps was ambiguous but Heejin walks further and further towards an unfamiliar place yet taking a familiar route. The beating of her heart was tranquil—the rain has rid it of unease; then it called for her, and she yearned for it. Holding out her palm, she catches drops of transient crystals which shatter as they come in contact with her skin—contrasting the warmth of her core.
he'd said that so many times this day, especially when the others members took notice of the sudden pouty mood he'd gotten. truly, there was no reason for him to sulk! wooyoung choosing yeosang as his best friend shouldn't even be something to sulk about. that was natural — yeosang had been with wooyoung for so many years, and he was the reason why san had met yeosang at all too. but still. /still/. san had expected a bit of hesitation there, but there wasn't. it was a quick answer, and he wasn't even going to lie; he'd thought that wooyoung was going to choose him. so san ended up not talking to wooyoung the time after the fanmeeting, shamelessly hogging all of yunho's attention.
so maybe, san was sulking and a little petty.
but only, maybe and just a little.
back in his shared room with mingi, he hugged a pillow to himself, burying his face onto the soft material, cheeks still huffed. there was a small emptiness to his chest, and his fingers dug into the pillow in slight frustration. "stupid woo," he mumbled under his breath.
There was truly nothing Somi appreciated more these days than an evening free of responsibilities. Earlier today she had been scheduled for a live performance but after that was over and done with— and may she add successfully— she was let off for the remainder of the afternoon. Now that summer was nearly over, the chilly and rainy days were starting to welcome themselves into the city of Seoul. Her alarm had woken her up from an accidental cat nap she took upon her couch, it was a little remainder she had set to go on a daily jog. As of late, she really enjoyed taking a few minutes just to walk around her apartment dorm. Somi didn’t get too many breaks, and sometimes she found that even a simple task like a walk around town was enough to decompress and sort of fade away in the street lights and cracked pavements.
She threw a hoodie on, grabbed her phone and then closed the door behind her as sauntered her way out of the building, a little skip in her step as she made it her mission to /only/ step in the few puddles the rain had left for her. It was a game to her, albeit a tad childish but she paid no mind to the fleeting thoughts of strangers passing her by. She managed to make it to a nearby convince store. Somi had gone in empty handed and was now leaving with two small bags filled with snacks and savory treats, perfect for a stay in rainy day.
Ah, rainy days. There was something oddly alleviating about rainy days that Somi always liked. Perhaps it was because the subtle scent of the rain and the way lighting lit up the skies gave her comfort, because she knew that there was always sunshine after the rain. No matter what rough days may lay ahead of her, she would always pull through in the end.
“It’s alright, it’s—“ Her back make a soft thud as it came into contact with the concrete wall behind her, only the falling drops and distant footsteps filled her ears and she allowed her eyes to flutter close only for a moment. She seemed serene right then and there; as if she didn't have a care in the world, but the words that followed filled her with bittersweet nostalgia. “Just a passing downpour…”
