@Kim Wonshik [SH] The sound of the lucky machine, the chips and coins being tossed from one side of the table to the other filled the room as the drug dealer walked into the small casino hall. Jongjin wasn't really the type to gamble, he wasn't the type to leave his luck by the hand of a card or the dice but his goal here was different, cause when Jongjin scanned the room all he could see was addicts, gambling addicts with their money not well spent. So if Jongjin could replace their addiction make them hooked on his stuff instead of the cards or well both for that matter, he knew he'll have a nice profit. Every rookie in this kind of business will be stupid enough to just sell in the main hall but Jongjin was old enough in the business to know that will end up with him being beaten up or worse killed. So the only way for him to set his goal was to make a deal with the casino owner, a gang leader himself and an old days friend too.
"Are you going to let me join too?" Jongjin said with a smirk as he walked to the back room and walked closer to the more "exclusive" part of the casino, taking a seat in front of the poker table with a knowing smile at his friend.
@Won Jongjin "No river, no fish," he stated while eyeing the three seated people around the table, tapping the borders of the cards against the palm of his hand to get them aligned before placing them flat on the table. Wonshik tilted his head up, fingers resting against the poker table as he waited for everyone to put their money on the table. The raven-haired held the collar of the shoulder-padded jacket hanging over his shoulders as he seated himself on his chair. He rolled up his sleeves, showing off a pair of narrow yet muscular wrists, tendons peeking out beneath his skin and two tattoos popping visibly on his pale forearms as he picked the deck up again. With all the pairs of eyes on him, Wonshik shuffled the cards once more before swiftly dealing them around. His hands were quick and smooth, executing his job with ease. "Money won is twice as sweet as money earned." He declared, boosting the mood in the group.
The first hand was random, but the more they played, the better Wonshik was able to manage the cards. His long fingers and cheesy quotes were able to distract the other men enough for him to slip a few cards above or under the others.
@Dong Youngbae The first round proceeded without any incidents. Zhou Yan Xi didn't speak to the man who had caught her attention, just silently observed him. She smiled gently when their eyes met, but the supposed warmth radiating from her was actually ice cold. The smile didn't reach her eyes. He was quite handsome. More importantly, there was no way she was mistaken. He was that man- the infamous hitman. To think she would stumble across him here. Zhou Yan Xi lowered her head and chuckled as she accepted her new cards. She obviously hadn't come to this place to play cards and waste her money and her time, she was planning to 'bump' into an old acquaintance she'd heard frequented this place. With this new discovery, however, this man took precedence. Hmm~ should he stir the sleeping tiger a little? Yan Xi turned her head slowly towards the man, her soft hair cascading across her delicate shoulder without so much a hint of frizz. Leaving her cards at the side, she slid her fingers towards him, letting the lithe digits rest on his hand for a three seconds before withdrawing it again. "What a tragedy. You have my heartfelt condolences."
@Bae Joohyun It was well past 3 AM and Wonshik was hosting his last poker game before he'd go home. He shuffled the cards swiftly in his hands, moving his weight from one foot to the other as he looked around the casino. Two people had taken place around the oval table already and were weirdly amused by watching Wonshik mix the deck, which led him to casually display a few of his skills; flipping and popping a few of the cards, all the while not dropping a single one. It looked so smooth and easy as Wonshik didn't even have to look down while doing so.
It took a while before a familiar figure appeared in the tall male's vision and the corner of his lips quirked up once. He shuffled the deck one more time before aligning them perfectly in the palm of his hand, holding his fingers on each side of the cards to keep them in position. He looked down at the table, seating himself comfortably in his chair and crossed his legs, ready to start playing his last round. But as his well-acquainted friend accompanied him at the poker table, there was a second presence right next to the man that had Wonshik's breath hitch as soon as he laid eyes on it. He was lucky the music covered his mishap and he was able to recollect himself quickly. "Would you like to play as well, miss?" He asked, his voice not as powerful and confident than as it usually was, the second attendance bringing him out of his concentration. And he couldn't stop thinking... what was she doing here? Why was she here? Did she know he was here? Did she know he hosted poker games? And how? No one here knew his real name. And very few even knew his stage name. So was this a coincidence? A very strange one at that.
But also other questions arose in him. How had she been doing? Where had she been until now? She had grown up into a fine woman. Had she been eating well? Had she followed her dreams? So many questions that distracted him from his game.
@Huang Mi Ni Ka-ching, ka-ching — went away the sound of cash being wasted as gamblers made their bets. Bright vintage lights hit every corner of the casino, except for the rooms behind some walls. Everywhere the human eye looks, there were eager patrons waiting for the results of their gambit, staring greedily at the pile of colourful chips which laid atop the green table.
Zeren is not one to indulge himself in these sort of petty activities. Yet, here he was, at the casino waiting. For what reason and for whom? The informant broker sat back in the chair he was seated in, glancing around the room from where he was in the corner, no partners with him as he was left alone. Workers stayed away from the young man, knowing just who he was and his objective for appearing, while some gamblers who had heard of him or even interacted with him avoided him like the plague, fearful of what information he could blackmail them with.
At last, the client of the night appeared before his eyes, seating across from him as a lovely girl straddled his lap. An absentminded hum vibrated from his throat at the man’s words, eyes following the hand before pausing at the brand. Anyone in the underworld should know what the symbol means by now, and with another glance at the girl, he finally recognised who she was.
A gracious smile formed on Zeren’s lips. “She’s quote the charmer.” His mind was whirring, though he pushed whatever thoughts his brain conjured to a side — he has business to attend. “You wish to see me to gain information on your rival company?” From what Zeren already gathered of the man, his client was a businessman of a big name company, though not of CEO status, but still a high position. “Did something happen for you to wish for such intel?” He cocked a brow.
@Kang Seulgi Wonshik shuffled the deck of cards in his hands, waiting for people to join the next round of poker as he stood confidently behind the table. The tall male moved his weight from one foot to the other as he glanced at a few new pairs of interested eyes. "No river, no fish," he stated, tapping the borders of the cards against the palm of his hand to get them aligned before placing them flat on the table. He threw the few people around him a quick, small smile as he knew the hesitant clients were the easiest ones to win to and gave them a nod as they finally took place at his table. It didn't take long for a few others to join in on the 'fun'. Wonshik tilted his head up, fingers resting against the poker table as he pretended to search for the last player; glancing at the female a few feet away from them. The raven-haired male swallowed silently and held the collar of his jacket as he seated himself on his chair, waiting for Seulgi to arrive. Sure, the female had said she was quite good at poker and he had told her his plan, but they had never played together before. So all he could do was hope things were going to turn out as planned. If not, they had agreed on a certain amount of money they were fine with losing.
The twenty-six-year-old male adjusted the jacket on his shoulders, the pads making him look broader than usual, but the black suit slimming down his already slender figure. Wonshik rolled up his sleeves, showing off a pair of narrow yet muscular wrists, tendons peeking out beneath his skin as he picked the deck up again. With all the pairs of eyes on him, Wonshik shuffled the cards once more before swiftly dealing them around. His hands were quick and smooth, executing his job with ease. "Money won is twice as sweet as money earned." He declared, boosting the mood in the group before quirking a grin at Seulgi.
The first hand was random, but the more they played, the better Wonshik was able to manage the cards. His long fingers and cheesy quotes were able to distract the other men enough for him to slip a few cards above or under the others. Until now, things were rolling just as planned; men were starting to get excited because they were winning and started paying less attention to Seulgi, who they thought would be out any minute now. The dark-haired male dealt the cards one by one for the nth time, pulling the cards from beneath the deck instead of up so he was able to give his partner a Full House. This was going to get her back into the game and hopefully outplay some of the other players.

‘Patience Youngbae Patience,’ I repeated this advice to myself knowing that playing the waiting game was never my greatest attribute. Seating at the table as I absentmindedly played the game halfheartedly as my mind was elsewhere. “Again we have a winner the gentleman in black is up for his third win in a row,” the dealer motioned in my direction as I could care less whether I was up or down on a hot strike. My focus auto fixated on the abnormally strong Ki or ball of energy I felt within the room made me uneasy but, I couldn’t fathom what or where it was coming from. The pads of my fingers drummed on the countertop restlessly until my nose picked up on an enticing scent. It was a rich feminine scent, alluring to anyone man. Tilting my head to the direction in which is emerged from I withheld took a moment to survey a look of the owner. Long silky legs, beautiful thick glossy hair and a pair of rosey red lips, with a piercing gaze that contradicted her delicate appearance. This woman was stunningly captivating. Enchanted as a beautiful rose in a garden made for the finest King’s however, just like every rose I could see without a shadow of doubt in my mind this one had its thorns as well.
Allurement aside this women made me uneasy as every muscle in my body and the 10 years of experience in the industry told me this woman was not at all as she appeared. Not to mention the very large men the escorted sported the same tattoo. ‘Could, this woman be the reason my gut told me to be here tonight?’ I found myself questioning my decision more often than not. ‘If so this going to turn into one hell of a night.’
@Dong Youngbae The game of blackjack was well underway. A tall, shapely woman in a long black dress with an equally long and plunging neckline stepped up to the table. A raspberry red jacket loosely hung on her shoulders. The sound of her thin heels hitting the marble floor was nothing more than pin-drop, yet it resonated to those around her. The dealer's hand stopped. Anyone worth mentioning recognized the woman: Zhou Yan Xi, head of the Zhou triad and director on the board of the Zhou corporation. Two large shadows stood protectively behind her. Their suits were fitted but unable to hide the strain their firm muscles put on the fabric. The woman's lips curved up into an icy smile. One of the players silently gathered their chips and offered her his seat, which Yan Xi claimed naturally. One of the two guards placed a small metal case on the table and opened it for her. It contained chips. Yan Xi lifted one leg up, crossing it over the other. Her long, slender fingers, the tips lacquered a tasteful red, slid across the soft tabletop only to drag her cards back to her. "My apologies for the interruption. Please, continue." Her voice was gentle but firm, warm but without any trace of tenderness. Her gaze drifted across the faces of the other players, only to stop on that of a man about her age. She smiled faintly and then lowered her gaze once more. 'Hmm~ He looks familiar. Where did I see that face? Mabye...? No, but it's been so long. I might be mistaken, let's wait and see.' The smile stayed frozen on her lips as she tugged the corners of her cards up. An average hand, not bad but not good. She counted 12 points. The game was going to be a long one.
The evening was late when I found myself in the busy luminous halls of the casino. What senseless thought brought me to a place like this I still had to decipher it for myself. Something just told me this was a place I needed to be. It had been numerous years since I last set foot in here. Not since...Well, since the incident... The night I lost her. I felt the blood in veins run ice cold and the air in my room suddenly felt stale. Frozen in place for a moment or two I formed a balled fist and closed my eyes for a moment as I took a deep breath to steady my nerve. "What the am I doing here. The trail is colder than a polar bear's ..." I said to myself as I reopened my eyes to look around the room to pick on any unusual Ki in the surrounding area. All I had was some cryptic 3-year-old letter to go off of and an anxiety gut. No matter it was then and there I made up my mind that I needed to see this through even if I had no clue where to even begin looking. Suddenly my gaze was locked on the blackjack table. With a shrug of the shoulders, I let out a heavy sigh and made my over. "Well since I'm here I might as well win some money and get drunk,"
@Kim Wonshik As soon as Seulgi stepped foot into the casino she got some looks from the crowd of strangers. Men, and women alike, were often memorized by her beauty when she decided to get dressed up--and this was a special occasion which called for it. This was in fact an expensive casino; so the guests were expected to dress the part. Her newly dyed brown hair was pinned down with gold clips, allowing the strands to flow down to her mid-back. A black crop top sweater lined with gold trimming hugged the women's torso followed by a matching black and gold patterned pair of high-waisted shorts. The look was topped off with a pair of gold sparkled boots that were almost a crime to wear. Almost. Seulgi wore the outfit with pride and confidence oozed from her aura as she walked through the aisle between games to the bar area. She looked young and ready to have some fun, which was an easy head-turner for many."What will it be, darling?" The handsome bartender asked as soon as she was in ears reach, happy to entertain someone other than an elderly man talking too much about his lost games.
"A martini please, lemon twist over olives if you can." Her voice was light and her smile intoxicating as she slid over some cash, not entirely caring she over-tipped the worker. The drink was made in seconds and as soon as it was in her hands her gaze was drifted over to the gathering of older men to a poker table. 'Looks like it's time to start,' she thought to herself. For a moment she watched the table intensely, taking in her competition for the night. Once she made her way to the somewhat secluded poker area, Seulgi took her seat in between what looked like a business man and a man that was clearly a tourist, camera still hanging around his neck. "Good evening gentlemen, who's ready to play some poker?" Her voice rose above the meaningless chatter before taking a sip from her martini. The young woman was met with an array of nods and words of agreement before her eyes fell upon Ravi, giving him a smirk. "You heard the men, 'croupier', lets get this game started."
@Ding Zeren Mini let out a bright laugh as the man at her side pulled her close by her waist. She was wearing more than usual, a short but fancy dress and pretty shoes. Throughout the night she hadn't said much, only speaking when spoken to and otherwise just being the pretty armcandy at her patron's side. As the night progressed, she followed the man to a more secluded area. There was someone else there, another man, younger than her patron but she didn't pay him any mind. Mini climbed onto her patron's lap, straddling him and leaned into him. "I hope you don't mind, she was expensive so I'd like to make the most out of it.", her patron said to the other man. His hand slid down her slender back, his fingers brushing the brand on Mini's lower back. The image of a mockingbird had been seered into her skin: The brand of Zhou Yan Xi's personal pets. His hand lowered itself further to grab her soft, round . Mini let out a soft, happy giggle and nipped at his neck. She turned her head just enough to peek at the young man and flashed him a small smile. Unlike what her brand would suggest, Mini's bright eyes did not contain a trace of worry. However, there was a timid flicker in her eyes.
