I didn't go to the main house though but going to the barn instead, smiling sadly at the confused animals that didn't expect me here at this hour*

*reaching up to gently pat the horse's face I smile as it neighs softly, turning around to make my way up to the hay storage with a heavy heart and takes out the blanket I kept hidden for secret rendez-vous with my mate back when he was still here, spreading it out before shifting and curling up on it. Being in my wolf form kept the tears from falling and so I just layed there, trying to pick up the distant scent of my mate that still lingered on the blanket*

@Lily ʷᵒˡᶠ ⁽ᵒ⁾ *he merely rolls his eyes, expecting this reaction from his own mother. knowing that she can't never understand his viewpoint, considering the amount of time she spent with lilo so far. if there is any way he could prove that she actually spent a whole load of time more with his father and their newborns, he would prove it. until then, it is best for him to keep his distance, waiting for his father's return. with a deep sigh, he simply keep on walking towards the forest where he would shift into his huge wolf with grey fur as its coat and there were speckles of black and gold here and there on his fur.*

@Lilo ʷᵒˡᶠ ᵃ *furrows my eyebrows at his words and tries hard to ignore the pang in my heart as he mentions his father, the familiar darkness of missing my mate creeping up my neck but I swallow it along with the tears that threaten to show in my eyes and masking it with a laugh*

yeah, sure. i can do all of them now but mom, i used to be them too. i can't do anything. it is just... i don't know. i just feel that you always prefer them more than me.
*with a shrug, i simply turns around to continue on my work and hums in response about the dinner. it still is a long dragging afternoon where the sun beats down until i hear the familiar voice again. i look up to see you looking all upbeat and i can only groan in frustration.*
simply because i said you always spend more time with them doesn't warrant you to having spend time with me while i WORK. there is a difference, mom. a difference. Just go and do what you need to do; being a mother to the toddlers. I just wish Dad is around.
*with another huff, i slam down the hoe and walks away*

Lilo. I always have time for you. The little ones need me for more things than you do, though. You can dress yourself, feed yourself without making a mess - well, most of the time. But I always have time for my biggest baby.
*gives your hand a soft squeeze and smiles up at you, watching you retreat back to work as an idea pops up in my head but I simply nod at you as to not give it away*
You do that, I'll prepare lots of meat for dinner, okay?
*once he was out of sight I quickly get up and into the house, finding someone to take care of the little ones for a while before packing a bag with drinks and snack and heading off to join you at the fields*

Hide and Seek in the hay? It's like finding a needle in the hay stacks. And you have to find three. The barn definitely sounds like a mess now. I gonna clean and stock up there once i'm done with the fields.

*laughs softly and grabs two peeling knives for us along with two bowls, one for peel and one for apples before sitting down by the table*
