@b. baekhyun "Mhm... Yeah... I know. I'll be a little late then. ...Okay, bye." Seokjin's afternoons were usually comprised of grading papers and monotonous phone calls with his wife. She often called and sprung some last minute grocery shopping on him, thus causing him to come home late after a trip to the store. He's pretty sure his wife just wanted to explore the world of cooking, but a small part of him wonders if she's cheating on him. Maybe she was making all this yummy stuff for some other man or perhaps even preventing him from coming home at exactly five so she could shuffle someone else out with time to spare. Honestly, he wouldn't put it past her -not because she's cruel- but rather Seokjin and his wife had been on the rocks since... the beginning of their relationship.

Their marriage was arranged by their parents and they tied the knot right out of high school. While they did like each other at the beginning, that small flame gradually died out. They didn't have a chance to really explore other people and were now stuck with each other. Hell, they never would have gotten married if it wasn't for money. Back then, the Kim family business was struggling to stand. Through this marriage, they got on their feet and were now a profitable company, but... Seokjin still never thought of divorce. Then he'd just be a lonely, divorced professor and that just didn't sound appealing right now. Given the little amount of experience he's had with dating, going solo with no one in clear sight was terrifying enough to have him lay in this loveless marriage a little longer. On this fateful work day, however, he was in for a shakeup.

Seokjin was grading the last of his stack of exams when two people entered the teachers' lounge. Though he knew Ms. Lee usually came in around this time, his eyes still snap up from his work and onto the woman. Oddly, there was another person beside her today and, wow... His skin was so smooth and hair silky and body- Whoa there, what the hell? Seokjin was pretty damn straight, so he didn't openly find men to be pretty, even in his own thoughts. Of course, he never really got to explore his uality since he was married off the moment he became an adult in legal terms. Regardless of what confusing thoughts were going through his head right now and how his gaze unconsciously stuck on the unfamiliar man, he listens when addressed by Ms. Lee.

"Mr. Kim, this is Byun Baekhyun. He's just joined the team of professors here, please make him feel welcome."
Seokjin is quick to clear his throat and offer his hand out for a shake. "I'm Kim Seokjin, mathematics professor and vampire." He tacks on his species as he was curious about what this man in front of him was. Perhaps he's some sort of enchantress with how he garnered Seokjin's attention from a mere entrance.
