@taehyung kim. yoona's small smile was wiped off of her face once taehyung faced her, his eyes going brown from white, making her wonder why was he as shocked and confused in the moment, fearing the worst - that he had changed drastically from the creature he used to be in the past. she scoffed as he just moved aside, going over to catch the first elevator that comes, possibly to avoid her. in moments like these she wished she could be a witch or a creature more powerful, with dark magic than her soft, light magic that helped no one in reality, honestly.
"taehyung!" she yelled after him, not as loud - not to make a scene in the lobby and in front of the people and the staff as she came here often, taking determined steps forward to catch up with taehyung. if there is one thing she knew that never would have changed about taehyung is that he always gets defensive when someone calls out his weakness - this time the weakness being him being a coward because he was running away from her, his old friend. "don't tell me you became a coward." she called out, coming to a stop just a few steps away from where taehyung stood.
@yoona choi. taehyung's body tensed when he heard his name being called. he cursed inside his head, this was the last thing he wanted in that moment. he had told himself, strictly no conversations to whomever but what could he do when he only now realized he had been preaching and appealing to peace a few years back, when his mother was still around. his eyes stared so intently at the magazine that it even set on fire. he quickly got up, smacking the magazine to stop the fire from spreading. it was ridiculous; a demon getting nervous over someone he met on a previous life setting. taehyung wasn't that sweet angel anymore. he refused to be that.
with an unreadable expression, he turned around, looking at yoona, directly in the eyes a very small hint of white, bringing the brown into a lighter brown; he was shocket and confused in that moment, unsure of how to adress this situation. he let his eyes linger on her features. he missed her, he missed being her friend and hanging around with her, freely around nkri. he used that as an excuse to quietly scan her features, to wipe away all sorts of feelings he had lingering around in that moment and wordlessly, he moved aside, hoping to reach the elevator before she could call him again.
@taehyung kim. yoona was under strict orders to take a few days off of practice and to rest - her colleagues and prima ballerina agreed with that - the next in line prima ballerina, yoona herself, shouldn't be so reckless with her health and body in general, but she didn't see it like that. she wanted to practice and practice until she was perfect enough that the crowd would be entranced by her performance. with a soft sigh, she made her way into the hotel where she would be spending these few days she had to take off, the hotel where she usually went to be pampered and get some rest.
as she walked into the lobby, she paid no heed to her surroundings before she walked up to the receptionist, getting a room and the key to the room, she paid for the few days in advance and then she could do anything. instead of going up to her room, yoona turned around and noticed a familiar figure - that couldn't be him - she thought to herself, but something was urging her to go and check it out, just in case. upon closer look, she realized that it was him. "taehyung." she said, her soft voice a bit louder so he could hear her.
@yoona choi. taehyung wasn't sure why he had decided to come to nkri. it wasn't usual of him. he honestly wasn't into walking around a lot seeing he mostly did avoid talking or gettig involved with anyone. he had business to take care of, though. his professional life required him to take a break from sko and move for a couple days into nkri and for that reason, he was in this moment sitting in the lobby of the hotel he was not familiar with.
his eyes scanned the surroundings, finding a creature he knew. he froze. his eyes quickly flickered towards the table sitting in front of him, the cover of the magazine suddenly so interesting to him that he managed to shut out the rest of the world around him. in the back of his head, he was begging to his late mother, not to let the creature see him. no, he didnt want to engage into a conversation with an old friend, not when he turned into this horrible heartless creature.
