"Uh god do not remind me..." I sigh softly and roll my eyes, bumping the lean male next to me on his hip pushing him aside as I lean onto the counter to fold my hands before me and flash you a cheeky grin. "The horror with these people in this place is seriously irking me and getting on my nerve." I mutter lowly and roll my eyes once more as I swoop in to smooch your cheek in a friendly greeting and also to rile kai up and make him even more jealous seeing as we both won't even give him the time of day to do such to both our cheeks, it causes me to laugh has I gasp and recall back as to why I'm even late. "Oh my god- Hyuna...girl, I met this creature...I was sent at the hospital to do some stuff for class and do some practicum hours and you know me and my sense of directions being total in this world..." I grumble with distaste and wrinkle my nose a bit.

"He played a lot of games with me at first though, which makes me think he's some kind of trickster spirit?" I query and my lips, seeing as I'm one of the 'oldies' in the book of the supernatural creatures, I've been in hell for far too long...only recently residing and setting home at sko and moving so fast to my life in the real world, alongside creatures and humans alike, hence our meeting. "So I don't know, but I believe he knew I was late and kept me back on purpose and he's kinda hot actually." I shrug my shoulders and look down at the cloth I was using to clean up this side of the counter and I shake my head a bit, hating how I got this single male on my mind so much- being annoyed and a bit intrigued. "Anyways, the beauty of my night and highlight of it all, do you want the usual or something fun and new?" With a wiggle of my brows, I flash a cheeky grin.

hyuna, simply put, was tired. the exhaustion of dealing with humans, and repressing her hunger, was bad enough that the added pressure of them not understanding aquatic mammals' health on top of her already immense agitation was unbearable. however, she stuck on being collected. she didn't want another confrontational event to happen like before. least to say, they were out of her way at the very least. for what it was worth, she was very much looking forward to a drink and, seeing that her friend was scheduled to work that day, it was a given that she was going to arrive. so, with a gentle push on the glass door, she made way to a stool right beside the bar. the number of times she had gone through the same process was numerous that she could very much navigate through blindfolded. however familiar, she always had a light skip to her step. heading to the club, finally getting some action, brightened up her otherwise dampened mood.

once she took a comfortable seat, she looked around so she could find the closeted nymph. to her dismay, the only thing she did spot was a bartender she least preferred, kai, hit on her. what a horn dog, she thought, always chatting both females whenever he got the chance. she waved at him, trying to dismiss him as she waited for the other to finally arrive. with a few minutes of waiting, and listening to the male bartender ramble about his achievements, as if that'd ever work, the other appeared right in front of her. she laughed at her tease, finally looking up as she ended her daze. "you're finally here! thank god. i was getting exhausted listening to him." she commented yet again at the male, giving him a smirk before smiling brightly at the other. "i'm baffled, somin. the boss didn't fire you yet considering your tardiness?" she teased as she relaxed into her seat, head supported with an arm against the cold surface and a pinch of her chin with an arched brow expressing her curiosity.

After having been caught up by that creature at the hospital, just thinking about him has my nerves sizzling on edge, being beyond borderline annoyed. I was so close, to losing control and simply zapping him with hell's fire from my light bearing torch, yet I held back. Wicked and vile is what I got from him, sighing a deep breath as I'm an hour late, I try sneaking in behind the bar area without getting caught but one look from my boss behind the other counter signals that I'm indeed caught in the action. "Way to go Somin- you're for sure gonna lose your only job." I grunt in annoyance- needing this job oddly enough if I want to fit in with the nkri way of living and get to finishing up my degree in social work and becoming what I believe I'm destined to become, if I wasn't such a horrible person down below. No matter how hard I try to run from who I am, it always is impossible, seeing as I am what I am. my lips and wrapping the apron around my slim waist, I ignore the male worker next to me, trying to chat me up yet again, I tired tell the guy, he's not my cup of tea even though, I'm tempted to just use him to just simlpy get laid and get it over with, but I'm not positive I could control myself enough to not harm him. So instead, I keep rejecting him- not after what I did in the past with a human male I liked, I'd not repeat the same mistake, even though I don't like him in that way, he's still a good friend. "C'mon kai aren't you tired of trying." I tease and stick my tongue out at him playfully, giving him a bump of my hip as I finished wiping down the counter and I take a breath to go about my work, breathing in and feeling the air, full of simple, fragile humans with a mix of power and darkness of the creatures of the night alongside myself.
