@✺ Ben S. Rey bit her trembling lip as she looked into Ben's eyes, more tears slipping from her eyes "You're my home, Ben Solo. The one I've always wanted but never got" she smiled sadly as she lifted her hand to touch his cheek "We're stuck with each other Ben..always" she closed her eyes as she felt him kiss her temple, letting them open again to look at him "When I was an infant my parents put me in a bag, tied it and then threw me in the river in hopes that it would kill me. Their intent was to get rid of me. I was saved by a man who took me to an orphanage and that's where I grew up. It wasn't until I was 13 that the man told me he was my biological uncle and soon after that he adopted me. I wanted to know who my parents were but he would never tell me, all he said was they were well known but that's it. He still hasn't told me who they are to this day, but whenever I think of them I feel disgusted. What kind of parents would try to kill their own child? They had to be monsters, horrible people with masks hiding who they actually are. I'm terrified of water because of them, every time I get in it feels like I'm struggling to breathe like water is filling my lungs but its not. It's the trauma of what my parents did to me" she felt herself shaking in Ben's arms by the time she was finished

@❀ Rey N. Ben held her tightly, silently listening to her talk as he rocked her. He hummed softly. "No... You shouldn't have... But Rey... That doesn't matter now... Okay?" He said softly. "I'm not going to hold that against you anymore... None of this will be held against you..." He held her tightly. "I don't expect us to be perfect.. Doubts and fights are normal... Okay? But I'm not leaving you, Rey... You're stuck with me..." He tilted his head. "Tell me everything... Don't leave anything out. Understand? I want to know everything... You can trust me, Rey..." He pressed a kiss to her temple.

@✺ Ben S. Rey's fingers clenched around Ben's shirt, her face buried in his chest as she sobbed for the first time in years. "I shouldn't have pretended I didn't know you, I shouldn't have changed my number and I definitely shouldn't have left" she choked out between shaky breaths. Her head slowly lifting up to look at him, shaking her head slowly "I can't promise you that I won't have doubts and that we won't fight because of my abandonment issues, but I can promise that the only person to ever make me feel this way is you and only you" she gave a small smile and laughed softly "If I told you what they'd actually done to me, I think you'd understand why I am the way I am. Do you want to know what they did?" she asked him in a soft tone, she'd never talked about what happened to anyone else besides her uncle but she wanted Ben to know her and love her, trauma and all.

@❀ Rey N. Ben buried his face into his shoulder, holding onto her tightly. "I've got you, Rey..." He whispered. He smiled a little bit. "I hoped maybe that would get you to fess up..." He said softly. He shifted them around, holding her in his lap, rocking her gently. "Mmmm... I would never throw you out, Rey... The only reason... We would ever break up... Would be for you to leave me..." He tensed up. "They better hope I never meet them face to face. I have /a lot/ of choice words for them... And a few fists they need to catch." He grumbled.

@✺ Ben S. Rey felt the tears fall from her eyes as they held each other closely, it felt like home. Ben was her home.
"I already knew you remembered, the comments you made about being hurt when someone doesn't remember things. It might have been then or possibly before that when you kept trying to contact me after that night. I was afraid that it didn't mean the same to me as it did to you. Or maybe I already knew how you felt but I was too afraid to open my heart to you. I didn't want to be thrown away like-" she choked on a sob "like my parents did to me" she couldn't help to feel extremely vulnerable especially with him

Ben had been walking Rey out of the studio. He had finished showing her the proper way to hold her arms during that one scene. And he offered to walk her out. Which she, thankfully, agreed to. However on the way she passed out. Thankfully they were right next to his car. He caught her in his arms and he carried her to his car and got her situated in the front seat. He buckled her in and took her to his apartment. He carried her inside and put her on the couch. Running to get a cold washcloth to put on her forehead. "Rey? Rey!" He said gently, shaking her lightly. He was surprised when she woke up and brushed her lips over his. "I remember too, Rey... Every detail..." He wrapped his arms around her and put his head on her chest
