She wanted to reject the offer and to say that she would rather go to the police but her lips betrayed her. "What kind of deal is it? As long as it is not something dangerous for me, I would do it," she replied and she so wanted to slap her lips for it. How could she promise a stranger that she would do anything as long as it would not harm her? "Harm" itself was a subjective topic. "Tell me what it is first, I meant to say," she made herself clear, looking a bit terrified.

@StarStar_♥ Yang Yang could only roll his eyes when the other begged. That was certainly not the reaction he expected. What kind of thief would have enough courage to go inside a house but not enough guts to go to the police? "And how can I trust that you won't do that?" He frowned, thinking that it would still be the best course of action for him to call the police. He nonchalantly walked towards the telephone but stopped midway when an idea came to him. He turned to look around at the female, failing to keep a small smirk from showing on his face. "I know, I won't call the police. Instead, how about we make a deal? It will benefit both of us." He stared at the other with an unreadable expression.

@lovely_ranma (⌒▽⌒)☆ The police. He threatened her with the police! And it was effective, mind you. Zheng Shuang knew from then on that she was doomed. There was nothing wrong with being turned over, she would still have her food. But she knew how aggravated the rich people would be towards her and she knew how it would ruin both her and her father's life. "Oh, please, not the police!" She found herself saying. "I'll leave and never come back, just... let me go this once, huh?" Funny how she was practically begging when she had not once heard of a burglar begging the house owner to let them go. But there was nothing she could do. She did not have anything, not even a pepper spray to help her. "Please, I won't attempt to steal from your household again, okay?"

"Hello sir," the female replied, her voice professional as usual, pleasant and not high, though the smile on her lips at seeing the small kids, was less professional. She was waving at the little girl when the deep voice of her boss penetrated her ears, and she nodded her head, not really thinking of the kids being any kind of inconvenience, maybe the crying could be stopped, though nothing more than that, "It's alright sir, I'll take care of them while trying to hiring a new nanny." She said then dared to ask, which something was almost obvious, "I take it that your last nanny isn't in there anymore?" She said, wondering what was the reason for this one to leave, did he fired her because she tried to be his "nanny" at the after hour, or did she resign because of the kids being too much for her?
Shaking those thoughts out of her mind, Hyolyn grabbed the mails for the day, the contracts he needed, and whatever papers she had ready for him for the day, and walked around the disk to hand them to him, and try to soothe the crying baby, only to be prevented by her clumsiness which this time worked by her hitting her hip on the desk, falling, and scattering all the papers. She hissed, trying to rub the pain away and at the same time gathering the papers. It was really a mess, but the only good that came out of the mess, the little boy stopped crying distracted by the flying paper, and the woman, who for a moment was sprawled on the floor, then the next jumping like a monkey, grabbing for all the papers.

@Lyn╰(*´︶`*)╯♡ Glancing at his wrist watch for the nth time that minute, Soohyuk found the time to be running faster. He had more or less an hour left before his scheduled meeting started but unfortunately for him, he was still stuck taking care of his five year old niece, who was throwing tantrums for no reason and his two year old nephew who was crying out loud because of god-knows-what. He was getting frustrated but he was left with no choice since their last nanny just quit and he could not find a babysitter in time. "Okay, okay, please stop crying. I love you, guys but I don't know what's up" He said with a whine as he carried the two kids to the backseat of his car. He had to make it to the meeting and it looked like their tantrums would not end anytime soon. So, guiltily ignoring their cries, he drove to his workplace.
With a relieved sigh, Soohyuk reached the office in no time. Somewhere along the way, his niece and nephew got distracted by the scenery that their tantrum went away. He went down his car and put his niece down and carried his nephew. Even with his classy suit, he looked so out of place in the office as he made his way inside with two kids. He was quite conscious of what he looked like to the public but not having much choice, he just continued his way inside.
"Hello there." He greeted as he caught sight of his secretary, Hyolyn. He glanced at his nephew who was on his arms then to his niece who was on his side then back to Hyolyn. "Also, I apologize for the inconvenience but please look out for them for a while or if you can hire a babysitter like right now, that would be nice too." He placed his nephew down to sit on one of the chairs and the little brat started crying again. "What did I do? Shh...Shhh.. Quiet."

@lovely_ranma Sighing heavily, Hyolyn pushed her thick glasses higher up her nose. She was getting more and more frustrated by her boss. He had a meeting scheduled in less than an hour, and still, there wasn't any sign of him. Ever since his niece and nephew arrived and he seemed so lost. Of course, she had everything ready for the meeting, the contracts, the notes, the legal advice as well. She even stayed tell three in the morning making him small memes, reminders to him, of what needed to be done or asked. She knew her boss was a highly intelligent man, but lately, his mind didn't seem to be in the right place nor was his focus.
Despite all of that a smile crept to her lips, she just had to confess to herself that he was so so cute with the kids. He almost seemed like one of them, if not for the loss, and in grief in his eyes. It was a hard time for him, too suddenly he lost his brother, his sister-in-law and instantly became a father to a five years sweet girl and an angel boy of two. Reaching for the top drawer in her desk, she pulled it open, and from below a stack of papers she pulled out a picture. It was a picture she took of him when he wasn't aware of it. She secretly had a crush on him, and if she was honest with herself she would admit that it was more than just a crush, but sadly she knew. She knew that she was out of his league, nor a woman that would pique his interest. He was almost daily seen with a different woman, a y one at that, a model or an actress. He had never been seen with the like of her. A plain, dope woman. A woman that barely reached his chest, and with clothes that easily made her mistaken as a high school student or a grandma, baggy and covering every inch of skin in her body. With another sigh, she replaced the photo on its place.
Hearing voices and footsteps coming closer, she clumsily locked the drawer and quickly stood up to greet her boss, making her glasses slid off her nose and down to the table in the process.

@StarStar_♥ Yang Yang continued on walking down the stairs, cautiously and as silently as he could. He was pretty sure that everyone in the house would not be back until the next day. Was he wrong? Or could it be someone forgot something and decided to come back? Or could it be a burglary? Either way, it will not hurt to be careful and device a plan, he thought as he reached the final steps of the stairs. He reached for the light switch that was conveniently located at the end of the stairs and turned the lights on. A small gasp escaped his lips as his eyes landed on the unfamiliar face of the female. "Who are you? And what are you doing here?" He was pretty sure that she was not his maid and if this were a burglary, she seemed too petite and unfit for the job. "Answer me quickly or I'll call the police." He said, sternly, impatiently - he was never one to like waiting.

@lovely_ranma "Who's there?" The manly voice rang in Zheng Shuang's ears, echoing as if she were in a dark cave. It made her heart pound, not for any romantic reason but for a whole different reason. It was fear. The mixture of shock and fear left her frozen on her spot for a second or two. For the first time, someone was at home, awake. All the houses she went into were either empty of people or the people were having a good night rest. During nights where people were present, the female would bring with her a spray. Unfortunately, she ran out of it and was confident that no one would be home. But surprise, surprise, she was about to get caught. She took an abrupt step back, bumping her shin and leg to the coffee table in the process. She hissed in surprise, she was pretty sure that the accident made some sound. She took a tentative step, preparing herself to escape.

@StarStar_♥ Yang Yang clicked his tongue as he made his way to his bedroom. The doors shut loud behind him as he laid down on his bed, still wearing his suit, with a heavy sigh. He was exhausted after a long day of dealing with a new potential engagement partner. His date even asked him to go to a party with her that evening. He did but he sneaked out as early as he could - something that he would never hear the end of from his parents. Ditching his date during a party might not be the nicest gesture but at least he's free now. Just as when he closed his eyes to start sleeping, his stomach started growling. He groaned, realizing that he's alone at the house in the moment - his maids and butlers will not be back until the next day since he said he would stay at his parents's house. "Damn." He cursed under his breath but got up anyway and headed downstairs. While he was on his way at the stairs, however, he heard steps from the living room. "Who's there?" He asked, cautiously.

@lovely_ranma Another mission. Zheng Shuang was ready. It would not be the first or second time she would do this. She would end up doing it anyway, one way or another. So, why was she feeling like something was about to go wrong? According to her investigation, no one would be at home for the night. No one would be able to catch her. She let out a sigh, as she stood beside the gates with her all black outfit and a mask. "You can do this, Zheng Shuang. The house is huge but it's empty. It's just one gem." Cheering herself up, she climbed unto the gate, gracefully and effortlessly avoiding the CCTV camera and other security devices. After a while, she reached the back door. But of course, what kind of thief goes through the door? Right, Zheng Shuang. First, she had to check if there were any alarm but there was none. She picked the lock of the door and with a 'click' it opened. She take tentative steps into the kitchen and started making her way to the living room in order to use the stairs.
