For a moment, she's frozen in place, as if trouble deciphering the very words that every girl wants to hear. Her eyes are wide, much more awake this time despite the headache that burdens her, and she's pointing to herself in foolish display of utter shock. "Wait—" she pauses, realizing exactly what the hell he asked her despite the simplicity of his query, and elicits a rather sheepish smile. At this point, she relaxes, and a warm simper graces her otherwise fatigued features. "Yes. Yes. Of course I will, Bright."

His lips curled up to smile her way, Bright playfully tried to bite on her thumb once it swiped close to his lips then heaved out a heavy sigh after taking a long moment to gaze at her beautiful face, he indulges himself deep into her beauty that he became silent for a few minutes. "Be my girlfriend." Those few words uttered out, out of the blue before he flicked back to reality and shifted himself up slowly to settle straight. "Will you, be my girlfriend. Lisa?" His brow raises up at her after popping the question, following along grin.

His reassuring words, the smile the curves upon his pretty lips, and the gentleness in his eyes is enough to relax her, despite the hammering that nearly cripples her into an a permanent perturbed state. However, she manages a smile, which only grows when the latter leans in and captures those lips in a kiss. Automatically does her body deflate, all stress dissipating just by the simplicity of his touch, in which she returns by gingerly cupping his cheeks in the soft palms of her hand. For a moment, she allows herself to break the kiss, to pull away so that she could take a careful look at the beautiful man before her. She smiles, this time genuinely, all pain pushed aside by merely his presence. With the pad of her thumb, she his cheek, and indulges herself by leaning in and seizing his lips with her own.

His brow raised at her trying to contain his smile while gazing towards her direction unsure of how she is feeling at this very moment, he brings his right hand up to use the pad of his thumb to swipe across her lower lips before leaning his head forward to close the gap between the two as their lips came in contact for the first time. With his right hand still raised, Bright uses his fingers to brush her hair back to clip behind her ear as it was almost getting in the way, for a moment the sound of his ticking clock became silent in the background as his headbtilted to a 45 degree angle once he acknowledges their first kiss.

She takes a moment to close her eyes, her hands resting upon Bright's chest as she takes in a deep breath. "Sorry," she murmurs, finally opening her eyes as she smiles apologetically at him. "I didn't mean to leave you on read. It's just—the screen and my head, and...well, I don't know where I was going with that." She takes another deep breath. "I missed you."

Taking a step back with her in his arms before closing the door behind them, Bright lowered her back down to the ground to press his lips against her forehead for a brief second then leading her into his living room without hesitation. He couldn't help but glance back over to her with a large grin plastered across his face once he takes a seat on the couch while tugging her over to settle comfortably on his lap. "You're stunning you know that? also i honestly thought you hated me or something because you never leave me on read babe." He nodded his head her way with his lips forming into a thin line as he became hesitant, unsure of what to do next. The male placed both hands to rest on either sides of her hips to adjust the posture that is aligned with his own. "Come here."

In it, even with the brightest of sunlight shining through, she can still see a transparent reflection of her fatigued figure: slumped shoulders, hair tousled in messy waves, and an outfit that she barely managed to put together. Though her efforts were rushed, she was careful to pay special attention to her appearance, as it suffered from last night's overindulgence in booze—in which led to a tearful night alone, and puffy eyes in the morning. So she found herself using what little of her energy to manage making herself look presentable. Needless to say, she would have never put this much effort, had she intended to visit a different person. But her concern for her appearance dissipated the moment she had laid eyes upon him. She was frozen in place, while he was the first to speak, the first to initiate contact between them. And all she could do was gratefully take this in, her arms curling around his neck as she savors this familiar warmth that she missed so much. "I got here as quickly as I could. I didn't want to waste time."

He stepped out of the bathroom after brushing his teeth and washing his face, using towel that is draped across his shoulder to wipe away the remaining damp area, the sound of the bell caught his attention and being well aware of who may be, Bright made his towards the front door to let her in. "So you came.." his eyes widened in surprise as he was somewhat shocked to see her standing right before him, after pausing for a moment, Bright reached out to circle his arms around her waist for an immediate hug. "I was actually nervous, since you left me on read.." both corners of his lips curled up to a smile as she's molded perfectly into his embrace which causes his heart to tingle in an odd way every single time.

She lingers outside of his home with uncertainty, until she's reminded that she indeed missed his embrace—she missed /him/. So she presses on the doorbell, stands back, and waits.
