Ryeowook had always been a child of belief and wonder. He believed fairies live in gardens, he believed mermaids swim in the sea, he believed ogres protect the forest. Even though he's passed the age of believing in Fairy Tales, a part of him deep inside still thinks about the possibility of their existence, that they're there.
Ryeowook adores reading ever since he was a kid, his taste ranging from poetry to novels, fantasy to real life. His favourite kind of storybooks were that of Fairy Tales and supernatural, anything that has to do with magic. Inspired by these writers, he became an author himself and wrote a number of well known fantasy stories and children's books.
Ryeowook grew up in a wealthy family, showered in love and attention since the first day he was born. He always got what he wanted, but his parents knew how to teach him morality, telling him stories of the unfortunate and how it's up to fortunate people like his family to help them. They always called him their 'Little Prince', and that a prince should know how to help his people, which was how he grew up to become a kind and generous man.
Ryeowook loves children, no matter how annoying or terrible they could be. He admires their innocence and purity, how untainted and naive they are and how they always see the good in everything, no matter how prejudiced humanity may be to the subject. He likes that aspect of children and swore to use his stories to teach them how to be good girls and boys, and to grow up as nice and useful people.
Ryeowook had a daughter when he was 25, having adopted her from an orphanage in his previous town. He had been lonely and wanted to spend time with someone, give his attention to somebody that isn't a lover, and came to the conclusion of getting himself a child. It was weird of him to want to burden himself with such responsibilities, but he didn't like the idea of finding a lover at that time, and he had a steady enough job and money income to raise a child, so he settled with the idea.
Ryeowook first noticed the girl when she accidentally ran into his legs, her bald head lifting to look at him and say her apologies. That's when the caretaker introduced her as Nara and said she was 7 years old, having been in the orphanage since she was a newborn. No one had adopted her because she had cancer, and this caught his attention, feeling sad and sorry for the girl.
Ryeowook decided to ask for some time with Nara, and throughout their whole encounter, he slowly grew fond of the sweet little girl, which made him adopt her. He knew Nara's time would come soon, but he didn't care because she was a nice girl and she deserved a chance to have a parent. He raised and nurtured Nara, teaching her morality and empathy, pouring his heart and soul to her, and even though it was tiring, he never regretted having her.
Ryeowook was 29 when Nara had to be hospitalised because of her worsening sickness, and she had to be on IV drips 24/7 of the time. It broke his heart terribly watching his precious girl lying so tiredly on the hospital bed, just waiting for her time to be up, it wrenched his soul. However, he didn't let this factor get in his way of spending time with Nara in her last moments, always staying by her side and telling her amazing stories of heroic adventures and thrilling journeys.
Ryeowook lost Nara one year later, having to watch her take her last breath while he was bringing her out for a walk, with her being on a wheelchair. She was 12 years old then, and God took her so suddenly that he didn't see it coming, and begged the doctors to save her, even though he knew it was already too late and she was far gone in a better place. He was in utter despair, and fell into such a depressing state that he had to be taken to a psychiatrist to be diagnosed and treated.
Ryeowook couldn't bring himself to stay in the same house as his late daughter, so he decided to move to Limen a few months after her death, donating all her items to the orphanage in which he adopted Nara from. The only thing he kept of her was the photo he took with her while they were in their neighbourhood park, a small simple picture of him hugging Nara as she smiled brightly for the camera, eyes turned up into crescent shapes. He stowed the picture in his wallet and over his ID, so that every time he opens his waller, her face would be the first thing he sees.
Ryeowook moved into a small cottage in Limen with a backyard and a garden at the front, a gate keeping people out of his property and a cobble stone pathway leading to the front door. It looked like a house out from a Fairy Tale, and being the magical lover he was, he bought down the house and lived there ever since. He decorated the interior so it was cozy and welcoming, with a sense of something wondrous and awe-filled.
Ryeowook is 31 now and has been living in Limen for almost one year and a half.

02 +8 KL time. I'm a student who goes to school at 6:40AM and comes back home at estimatedly 8-9PM because my mom goes to Zumba lesson and I'll be at my grandma's. I'm mostly on unless I have special occassions, which I'll tell you about if possible. Poke me after 7 days, and I'll do the same. I try to reply ASAP.
03 I write 3rd person descriptive, but I don't mind 1st person either and can RP script too, although I prefer the former.
04 Please feel free to plot or RP with me, don't be shy, I don't bite. I can either plot everything out or wing something from nowhere, so long as I have a starter to base from. We can improvise plot points as the RP goes on.
