@M'Daehyun_Dream-Hunter Jaejoong led the dream-hunter through a maze of tenants and hallways to a private elevator and pushed the button. "Since you will have to take care of everything in the dream realm I figure getting our bodies safe in the physical world would be for the best." he explained as he waited for the doors to open and stepped inside, pushing the button for the penthouse.
@M'Daehyun_Dream-Hunter The lack of response from the other was exactly what he expected and it made him inexplicably happy to see it, or not as the case was. "The Dark-Hunter lives in this building, he's not asleep yet because he is on patrol until just before dawn but the sun will be up by the time we position ourselves nearby." Jaejoong offered and opened a door into the complex for the other. "The sooner we get rid of this parasite the better."
@M'Daehyun_Dream-Hunter The threat of Skoti to his Dark-Hunters was always serious which was why he set up the meeting with the dream-hunter in person. It seemed that more and more of the Oneroi were going bad and preying upon unsuspecting sleepers which bothered the god. The thoughts were fresh on his mind as he turned the corner to the designated meeting place and saw M'Daehyun waiting for him.
"Nice night to go for a dream-hunt, isn't it?" Jaejoong joked, fully aware the other didn't have any emotions to enjoy it.
@Jaejoong_Destroyer Shifting shapes and pulling on another dress, Hyorin stood and looked after him. "Thanks again, Jaejoong. See you tomorrow at 3 o'clock. Don't be late!" She chided before heading inside. Surprisingly, it was quiet in her house, which was probably good. At least she could rest without being disturbed.
[ do you want to ts to when he goes into her shop? ]
@Hyorin_Were-Hunter "Oh, right." He said with a laugh and set her bag down on the stoop. "I will just leave you to it then and I will see you tomorrow." Jaejoong put his hands back in his pockets and turned away, looking down the street for any sign of a disturbance before he began to walk. He didn't have a patrol that night, it was his night off, but he always found things to do.
@Jaejoong_Destroyer It freaked her out in the slightest that he knew where she lived. How did he do it? Did he track her by scent or something? Being set down on the welcome mat, Hyorin stretched her body out before tilting her head up to look at him. She nodded her head, moving over to rub his calf in appreciation. She'd shift shapes to thank him, but he had her backpack and she'd rather not give him a hug while . That'd just. .
@Hyorin_Were-Hunter The sound of her purring amused him some and again the corner of his lips turned up in a small smile as he carried her through the streets. He avoided the more crowded areas and stuck to the shadows mostly as he walked towards her house. The male knew he said he would be fast but since she seemed to no longer be in a hurry there was no need to rush.
After a few moments, he turned up the street and walked up to her door. Jaejoong knelt down and set her on the welcome mat with care before standing up again, stretching his arms. "Is everything okay now?" he asked and again checked the area for Daimons.
@Jaejoong_Destroyer Hyorin tried to do as instructed, curling up to the best of her capability. Her front paws were tucked under her, while her hind legs were curled up underneath her. Her tail swished in the air and she looked up at Jaejoong, blinking. Amazing how effortless it seemed for him to carry a full grown leopard. . Then again, he was a dark-hunter, and to deal with Daimons, one had to be strong.
She purred softly, the sound rumbling deep within her chest and throat. Her eyes closed and she rested her cheek against his arm. For once, she was relaxed. She could get used to this, most definitely.
@Hyorin_Were-Hunter He chuckled and nodded saying, "I am much stronger than I look, don't worry about that." Jaejoong took the bag from her teeth and slid it on his shoulder before reaching down to scoop her up into his arms. It was the size of her form that made her a little awkward to carry and not the weight. "Anyway you could curl up a bit to make it easier?" He asked with a smile.
@Jaejoong_Destroyer The brunette looked over her shoulder at him, surprised that he had suggested such a thing. "You'd really. . Carry a full groan leopard home? That's. . A lot of weight." Not that she was calling herself heavy— her human form was light, her leopard form wasn't. But the thought made her relax. Shifting shapes, Hyorin looked up at him, holding the strap of her backpack in her jaws.
The leopard blinked and walked towards him, trying to not purr. Being oicked up in her animal form wasn't a luxury she could indulge in every day, definitely not.
@Hyorin_Were-Hunter At her request for aid Jaejoong paused but nodded. "Yes I could, it would be my duty to do so." He replied with a smile. "Besides, I offered to do so first."
As soon as she started walking, he turned to follow her a few paces behind. His hands remained in his pockets and he kept a careful eye both on the weakened female and the surrounding area. He was not averse to another altercation but he didn't want to put the poor girl through it, and then it hit him.
"How about you shift and I carry you to where you are going?" He asked. "I am very fast."
@Jaejoong_Destroyer Hyorin nodded and let out a puff of air, shrugging her bag onto her shoulder before gathering her shredded clothes. "I should be fine, but I'd rather not be attacked again, so. . Could you accompany me home?" She really did not want to get jumped by more Daimons, or anything else that lurked in the night. She felt too powerless at the moment.
"Thanks, Jaejoong. Really." She offered him a smile before starting to head down the alley, hoping that he was following her. She had said she'd like his company when returning home. "Was it coincidence that you were still here, or were you just waiting outside?"
@Hyorin_Were-Hunter He turned his gaze out of respect when she shifted and changed clothes, not wanting to make the other uncomfortable. His hands made their way to his jean pockets and he stood silent as he looked around for signs of other threats. Just because he hadn't seen them earlier doesn't mean that they weren't there.
"It's kinda my job so it's really not a problem." he replied quietly. "I'm Jaejoong and I hadn't said it before so it wasn't you." The male turned back to her and looked at her with concern. "Do you need help getting home now?"
@Jaejoong_Destroyer As she laid on the ground, breathing heavily and staring at her client shoving a blade into the Daimon's chest, she couldn't help but mentally thank him. Shifting shapes, and not caring how beat up she looked, Hyorin nodded to him and made a move to grab her backpack. "If alright means I feel like I've just been ran over by a truck, then yes." She pulled a new dress on, since her clothes were basically shredded. "Thanks, for this. . You know." Hyorin pushed herself up and set her hands on her hips.
"What's your name by the way? I never caught it." Her body hurt, why the hell was she asking his name? All she wanted to do was go home and sleep until her body didn't ache.
@Hyorin_Were-Hunter As soon as the Daimon threw the were-leopard off, Jaejoong took his opportunity. He closed the distance and plunged his blade deeply into the Daimon's chest right where he knew the mark would be, causing the creature to cry out pitifully as it breathed its last. Jaejoong smirked right into its eyes and watched it die before turning back to the female.
"Are you alright?" he asked quietly as he turned back to her, sheathing his weapons.
@Jaejoong_Destroyer She definitely wasn't expecting another to join in on the fight, and she definitely didn't think it would have beethe man she had spoken to minutes ago. Guessed the Daimons didn't expect it either. While Jaejoong took care of the Daimon who had been standing off to the side, she pounced on the one who had attacked her, effectively hitting him against the dumpster. How'd he like it? From the looks of it, he didn't.
Especially since he was pouncing on Hyorin as quick as she had pounced on him.
Slashing her claws anywhere she could, tearing into his flesh with her teeth, while he tried with all of his might to fight her off. But then she was hit off once more, being thrown against the dumpster— again.
@Hyorin_Were-Hunter The sound of the poor girl hitting into dumpster echoed loudly in the space behind the shop which helped to mask his booted footsteps as he ran up behind them. One Daimon seemed to be letting the other do all the work, thinking she would be quick work for his friend and waiting to get involved if something went wrong. It appeared he hadn't counted on Jaejoong coming up behind him.
Jaejoong wasted no time and pulled his long knives from where they were hidden under his coat on his back. Without a second's hesitation he readied his blades and brought them up over the waiting Daimons shoulders, moving them in a scissoring motion. The sharp edges cut easily through the muscular neck and bones of the spine, decapitating the creature quickly.
Hyorin waved goodbye to the piercer, who seemed to have gotten a customer at the last second. Hah, he was stuck here. With a small grin on her face, Hyorin grabbed her bag and left the shop, walking around the corner of it and towards one of the alleys. Something was off though. . Her eyebrows knitted together and she looked around her, clutching the straps of her backpack. What in the world. . ? And that was when she was hit from the side. Smart, considering most either attacked from the front, or the back. She hit a dumpster, leaving a rather large dent in it, before looking to the attacker.
Great. A Daimon.
Her upper lip curled back, and throwing her backpack to the side, she found herself shifting shapes. Now Hyorin wasn't the best fighter, but she could probably wound them enough so that it'd be easier for her to make a quick get-away.
@Hyorin_Were-Hunter Standing outside the door he took a moment to adjust his leather backpack on his shoulders and looked around. It was a beautiful night and he had thoughts of enjoying it until he caught a familiar sight out of the corner of his eyes. Two men of great stature were moving into the alley behind the tattoo parlor as if they were stalking something. 'Daimons, really?' he thought to himself and followed silently behind at a distance.
@Jaejoong_Destroyer "Thanks." She smiled at him, and as he left, she realized that she hadn't gotten his name. Maybe it was good that she had told him to tell the person at the desk that he was going to be here for Hyorin. Otherwise he wouldn't be able to get in. "Stupid me." She muttered, going to gather her things.
[ something could happen, because if we just time skipped, it may get boring lol
What if she had to shift and ended up being caught by people? Since it's uncommon for a leopard to be in the city pfft ]
@Hyorin_Were-Hunter He laughed a bit at her statement and nodded. "Hyorin." the man repeated, testing the feel of her name on his tongue. "I shall definitely remember that. Be safe." With that he gave her a small wave and stepped outside into the cool night air.
((timeskip or should something happen on the way home?))
@Jaejoong_Destroyer She gave him a thumbs up, the small smile still on her face. She could relate, somewhat, to wanting to keep a few secrets. "Maybe one day. Until tomorrow, plus, you wont see me all sweaty and shaking, so I wont jab the needle gun into your arm." Hyorin grinned and stood up, checking the time. Thirty minutes. And with him leaving, that meant there were no customers in shop. 'Going home early.' She thought, giving Jaejoong a wave. "Just tell the person at this desk tomorrow that you're here for Hyorin, alright?"
@Hyorin_Were-Hunter The question made him smile inwardly as he stepped back. "I'm just a Dark-Hunter." he replied and moved away from the counter, his fingers playing on the handle of the door. Jaejoong wasn't really in the business of sharing his own private information and he figured she probably knew it wasn't entirely true. "Maybe one day I will tell you more than that. Until tomorrow?"
@Jaejoong_Destroyer His laugh was charming, but it wasn't one she could listen to on a daily basis. Setting the oen down after writing 'taken' in the slot, she offered him a small smile and nodded slowly. "I think I'll be able to. If not, then it's not hard to just. . Go through back alley's in my form. It's kind of dark out, too, so." Hyorin let a soft sigh escape her, her fingers tapping against the top of the desk. "So, what are you? You seemed to find it easy to pick up my scent." He wasn't an Arcadian, that she was sure of. If he were, then he'd probably be snarling and they'd be picking a fight with one another. Definitely not a good thing.
@Hyorin_Were-Hunter The attention from the female didn't really bother him, he was used to such things but not usually where she was looking. It took him a moment to realize his habit and slipped his tongue back into his mouth. He laughed softly and tilted his head, his eyes swirling in a green-blue before going back to black. "That will be perfectly fine for me." Jaejoong said shortly and stood back straight. "Are you going to make it to where you need to?"
@Jaejoong_Destroyer Hyorin nodded and looked down, quickly trying to find an open slot. There was one in the afternoon, and one at night. . Like how this scene was. Surely she would be the same then, like how she is now. "Tomorrow at 3 in the afternoon then?" She looked up at him, the tip of her pen pointing to the open slot. Her eyes zoned in on his tongue and her head tilted to the side. Why was he doing that? People confused her— supernatural or not. They always did.
@Hyorin_Were-Hunter "Tomorrow will be good unless something apocalyptic comes up." He said flatly even though he meant it. "Sometime in the afternoon would be best if that can be arranged." Jaejoong leaned on the counter and watched her writing, absentmindedly sticking the tip of his tongue out as he thought about the strange things that seemed to be popping up all at once. It felt like he had progressively less and less time to do the things he wanted, which was odd for an immortal.
@Jaejoong_Destroyer Her eyes widened and her head tilted to the side. How did he know?--- If he knew, then that meant that he wasn't a normal civilian. . Her eyebrows furrowed together and, even though she wanted to question him, she didn't want to make a scene. Grabbing a pen and a booklet, she peered up at him from under her lashes. "Tomorrow or the day after? And what time? I can make an appointment for you." She'd ask questions later, if he was still here.
Grabbing another paper towel, she started to dab at her neck now, actually glad that someone had taken note that she wasn't in tip-top shape. But it still bothered her, him being able to see her weakness so easily, so clearly, like it was written all over her face in bold letters. Like there was a warning sign blinking around her. It made her have a horrible taste in the back of .
