@Park Seonghwa "I don't think it's quite the same thing," he murmured, "dragons are grand. The sheer size of these buildings say so. Whereas the only thing grand about me is usually hidden." Jungsoo lifted his shoulders in something like a shrug, but rather it was a roll of those muscles of his back which supported the wings he kept concealed as little more than an ornate piece of art on his back. The fingers that linked with his own, however, gave him pause as he held the taler male's hand. "I'm just glad you don't mind the... differences."
As they walked by the exhibits together, the angel was less transfixed by the sight of the various aquatic life, swimming about their tanks and the simulated scenes of their natural environments than he was at the opportunity to steal glances at the man beside him. The aesthetician had an eye for beauty, and Seonghwa seemed to have it in spades. He looked away and gave their held hands a small swing between them, almost light-hearted in the act. "Well, we should get to know one another. More so than in the chat... seeing as this whole system seems to think we would make for a good match." He wondered how much faith his pair put into the system, or what he hoped to achieve. More than that, he wondered as he looked in on a few small tropical fish, stuck in their own tank and separated from the same ecosystem by a wall of glass, if his pair might be disappointed with the outcome. "For starters... you know what I do, but I haven't a clue what you really do, Seonghwa. And I would like to know anything about your life that you're willing to share."
@Park Jungsoo Seonghwa had a feeling as to what the other was, having been alive for a fair amount of time already, he had seen his fair share of different creatures. But he did not like to assume anything, hence why he asked. The way that the light played through the other's hair, and the general 'glow' that Jungsoo had definitely had the dragon guessing between a few creatures. He turned and walked into the building with the other and hummed, admiring the other's side profile as they entered.
He nodded when the other echoed his question and maintained his usual calm exterior, not wanting the other to rush. "/Just/ an angel? I don't think I quite share the same sentiment that you could be /just/ an angel, Jungsoo," he smiled. "If you're /just/ an angel, then I'm /just/ a dragon," he hummed. He let the other take his hand, but the dragon was the one who took the initiative to link their fingers together. "Mm, it has been a little while for me as well," he chuckled. He looked around as they walked past some of the smaller exhibits first, the exhibits increasing in size the further one travelled into the building. Though, he dragon's eyes fell back to the angel more often than not. "If you're curious about me in any way, please don't be afraid to ask. I know I'm not the most open or available person in that chatroom."
@Park Seonghwa Jungsoo slipped a small hand into the other's gloved grasp and only hoped that the other wouldn't take notice of the short palms or fingers he possessed. He smiled warmly and, after offering a short but firm shake, he withdrew his hand and bowed his head. The light played through the strands of his hair as he did-- until he stood up straight. Glancing to the entrance of the aquarium, he rose up a little on his toes. "I think that sounds delightful."
The district left him feeling dwarfed, everything about it built so much larger, not for opulence but function. He was only thankful then that he had chosen to wear his inserts, even if it left him walking about as if he were wearing heels. "What I am?" Jungsoo paused, glancing back to the dragon who, at the very least based on looks seemed younger than him. "Nothing all that special," he murmured, "just an angel." While Seonghwa still smiled, the smaller male reached out to take the taller's hand, gently tugging at gloved fingers. "Let's go see the exhibits. It's been a long time since I've visited an aquarium."
@Park Jungsoo Seonghwa was a patient man, after having lived for over five centuries, he found that waiting wasn't a terrible thing. Though, he didn't actually have to wait too long before his pair, Jungsoo appeared. He was also wearing boots so it raised him up just a bit, his eye level just a smidge above the other man's level. He smiled to the other politely though and reached out to shake the other's hand with a gloved one of his own. "Nice to finally see you in person too, Jungsoo," he smiled.
He took a moment to take in the other's appearance, clearly having done himself up despite the short notice. The other man was definitely a lovely sight to behold. It wasn't as though Seonghwa didn't have any makeup on either, it was just a little less bold. "Shall we head inside?" he suggested, gesturing towards the aquarium. It was a rather pleasant choice in the dragon's opinion, since the presence of water and the fishes was always something nice - even though fish probably made up most of his diet these days. "So, I'm afraid I never quite caught what you were if you ever mentioned it in the chat. I'm quite certain I saw more about your job than anything else," he admitted with a smile.
@Park Seonghwa Jungsoo had only a few moments after learning of his match to get ready for the arranged date at the aquarium. The angel's clothes didn't speak of overwhelming effort--black loafers, black, pressed slacks and a flowing, blousy white shirt with sleeves that fell halfway down his fingers--as opposed to his makeup. The shimmer on his cheekbones, the kohl that darkened the outer corners of his eyes, and the hint of red stain accentuating his brims made it apparent where his time was spent before he had rushed from Lux to the Drakon District.
He had only seen a picture of the man, the dragon, that he was to meet, but he could have easily picked him out of a crowd. The leather heels of his loafers clicked decisively on the broad pavers as he made his way toward the immense facade of the aquarium with a smile on his face. "Seonghwa?" He lifted a hand as he neared arm's reach. "I'm Jungsoo. It's nice to see you in person."
@Park Jungsoo After the ice dragon had been notified of his match and had been in contact with the other, he had gotten ready and had headed over to the aquarium. He waited at the entrance, dressed up probably a bit too much for an aquarium meet up, but that was just his style. And these days he quite liked wearing dark suits with icy blue or white accents here and there. He had chatted briefly with his match in the chat and Jungsoo seemed to be quite polite and friendly. He hoped that they would get along well.
So, the ice dragon stood there by the entrance, scrolling through his phone as he waited for the other to arrive. It had been quite advantageous for the dragon since the aquarium was in the Drakon district, so it was a very quick trip down for him.
