@z niki "Yeah, I totally get what you mean," Minho nodded and smiled at Niki. "Sometimes you just have to miss out on sleep, Or whatever it is you actually have to do," he hummed and then smiled amused. "Ah, I can't play any instrument so I guess we both are able to do something the other cannot." He did not mind it. He loved music but he was more for moving os there was that. "Of course I love them. They are my babies." He hummed and then listened to the song, nodding when it was finished. "It is beautiful," he then said and pressed play again to listen to it another time.
"You should," Minho nodded as he sipped from her coffee. "It is close to the university and sometimes they have events, buy one and get another free coffee or some snacks to it. I love it here." He grinned at her.
@l minho "It's just frustrating when you get that muse from lacking of it for a long time, so you gotta hustle and take advantage of it." Niki laughed, happy that someone gets her point of view. "I can't dance though, my feet are too uncoordinated for that." She joked, nudging his side gently as she shrug once. "I guess they could be, bet you 5 bucks you love them still." His reaction made her nerves tense, looking at him shyly. "How's the song?"
"I might become a regular here then." Niki laughed softly, taking another sip of her drink as she leaned back on her chair. She loved coffee more than anything so this cafe that Minho introduced might ease her up some time when she wanted to grab a drink close to the campus.
@z niki "As long as it's something you enjoy that's really good. I do compose dances too so I get it. Instead of getting sleep or studying," Minho admitted and chuckled slightly. He knew how it was to love something so much and he could totally understand her. He smiled amused. "Oh you have no idea. They can be horrible beasts," he chuckled slightly. But he loved his cats dearly, no matter what. With surprise he looked at her taking our the phone. "Oh," he mumbled and then watched it intently, a soft smile on his lips. It was really beautiful.
A soft hum left his lips. "I agree. Just make sure you aren't unhappy. That's most important," he said gently as he looked at her and then took a sip from his own drink. "I know, right? their coffee is really really good!" He loved coming here for it, it was his favourite place.
@l minho "It is... honestly but I don't mind, It's easy enough when I find inspiration to do so." Niki grinned, shrugging once. She remembers all the nights she would stay up to finish songs she composed due to the surge of muse to do so. She never plans on being famous, would rather stay behind the cameras and what not. "I'm sure your cats wouldn't, they seem like sweethearts enough." She mused, laughing softly. Her hands suddenly fished for her phone, pulling it up to the gallery to show him a video she took a few months before. "Here, I can make you listen to one. This is one's called Urs"
Niki pondered on his words for a brief moment, nodding in agreement. "I'll be sure to find it, hopefully." She joked, a small laugh escaping her lips. "I'm sure i'll find that in the long run anyways." Her hand reaching over to take a sip of her drink. "This is really good."
@z niki "That sounds very nice. I have no idea how composing works but I am sure it is a lot of work," Minho admitted and nodded at her. He knew how to perform a song, adding moves bit by bit and how long it took to get it together but he had never made music so that was new to him. Maybe she might show him sooner or later but it seemed to early to ask her for that. "Sounds like a plan. Just make sure to bring your guitar," he chuckled then. "I hope my cats will not ruin it though, they can be quite a handful." Which was true as they were three small hurricanes from time to time.
Minho nodded and looked at her. "I know it can be quite hard sometime but you will find it. I am sure." He had wanted to do something else with his life as well and yet here he was. "You can always go and check what you want to do with your life. See what makes you fill with joy and such!"
@l minho "I do. I compose songs from time to time." Niki's lips formed a smile at his interest in her. Her hand pushing her hair back as she leaned into the table, resting her cheek against her palm as she smiled at him. "Sounds like a plan then. Maybe i'd play for you when I go visit your lovely cats." She mused, a light shrug from her shoulders at the thought. It was rare for her to let anyone listen to the songs she'd compose, not having the confidence to do perform in front of others.
"I'll get it sorted soon enough, i hope" She mumbled, another smile plastered on her lips. "I hope i find that soon enough honestly, it kills me to wonder what i'll settle for in the future."
@z niki "It was," Minho hummed and shrugged slightly. He had not been able to move much and watching shows had not taken his mind off of things so he had decided to do coding. And other things related to computer. And he had found his love for doing so. "It is. I still dance but I cannot do it for a living." Like he wanted to. Become a dancer. That had been his dream and still somehow was. Just that he would never able to achieve it and it still left a sour taste. "Oh, you play guitar?" he asked curiously and smiled slightly. "You definitely have to play for me if you feel confident enough," he then said. he liked music a lot so he would definitely love to hear it.
"Ah thanks, it's not that hard if you get into it though even the smallest mistakes can get you a really nasty result. It's annoying sometimes." He chuckled slightly and then hummed. "I guess you are right but then most things are easier said then done," he said and then nodded. "You can always try things out. See what fits best for you."
@l minho Her lips pursed at the explanation, head nodding once. "Well that was a good way to spend your time, MInho," Niki muttered, showing him a grin. "Must've been hard not to do the thing you really liked to do, hmm?" Casting a curious gaze at the male, she would understand his need to feel preoccupied while he was recovering from his accident. "I couldn't imagine myself not playing the guitar." She mumbled, showing him another grin. "I got mad respect for your patience with coding," A small laugh following her words, another grin forming on her lips.
"I wish it was that easy to say" The younger teased, a small smile rested on her lips as she reached out for her drink, thanking the waiter and the male quietly. "Oh i definitely will, but i don't really know what it'll be"
@c yena A soft chuckle left Minho's lips. It was adorable how excited she was and it made him smile. "Sure, you get whatever you want," he hummed and waved the waiter over, ordering some cake for him as well and something to drink. He just hoped it would really be tasty for the both of them but he likes this café and until know if had never disappointed him.
With surprised eyes the other listened to her and tilted his head a bit. Well, that was quite a rant but it somehow made him smiled slightly, amused. "You do know you could have saved your contacts on the SIM card, right?" Minho teased amused and shook his head a bit. "But it happens, don't worry. I made such mistakes too, from time to time." He shrugged a bit and looked at her. "So no need to smash your head against the wall. You are clever, I'm not worried about that." It was true. Minho enjoyed working with Yena because even though she was forgetful, she really was smart.
"Nah, nothing new from my side," Minho chuckled slightly. "Taehyung just likes to flood me with tasks I really hate but at least he doesn't make me copy and scan old files so I guess I'm lucky." No, some other person had gotten that fate. "Aside from that it's all good and chill. Nothing new. And at yours?"
@z niki "Yeah. I broke my leg as a teenager in winter and, well, had to stay inside so I got bored and did some coding." Minho shrugged slightly. He had other reasons to not leave the house as well but that was something personal he barely shared with anyone. "So yeah, I got into it easily and ever since it was my passion aside from dancing." But after his ankle had been splintered he had to give up on one day being a professional. He still danced though. "It's fun to me but sometimes frustrating as well so I get it." He chuckled softly.
He hummed and nodded. "Yeah, it's nice to have and not hard for me to get," Minho nodded and smiled. He looked up when the waiter brought their drinks and thanked them.before looking back at Niki. "Do something you enjoy, maybe?"
@l minho Yena gasps, returning back to the menu and browsing for cakes she can order with a smile on her face. "Then I'd like a slice of oreo mille crepe, please!" she hums happily, jumping on her seat and swaying her feet back and forth with excitement. "Thanks, Minho! I'll pay you soon."
She groans, scratching her head, making her hair messy. "Well, you know that I just changed my phone, right? And a phone doesn't save up contact names when the sim card gets transferred. I got a client, suddenly asking me for information and I don't even know who that is. Gosh." She folds her arms, pouting. "I'm also forgetful, you know? I tend to tell myself that I gotta do this but I end up forgetting about it, I sometimes wish I could just hit my head on a wall and bleed to death."
Picking up her phone once more, she replies to a text she just got, and turned the gadget off. "I'll deal with this later." She puts her phone back to her sling bag, and rested her arms on the table. "So, how are you? Any news or something?" She asks, beaming a joyful smile, as if she already forgot about what she ranted earlier.
@l minho "Yeah, I work at the convenience store." Niki explained, mirroring the curious look he had playfully. Niki rarely warmed up to a person this easily, it felt foreign yet good for the gal to find someone as curious as he was. Her nose scrunched up as he explained what he does for a living, remembering her own memories of trying to understand coding. "I could never handle that- my patience would wear out so easily." She joked, nudging his side playfully as a small laugh escaped her lips.
"You seemed really eager to get that degree huh? that's honestly really cool." Niki pointed out, pursing her lips lightly. "I mean I'm focusing on my course right now, but I'm not really sure what to do after all of this." Her hands spreading out slightly to exaggerate her words.
@z niki "True. Unless they are all used to each other, that should be okay," Minho hummed. If he had time for it, he would love to have another animal but right now he was barely able to manage work aside from all the rest. He couldn't get another animal and not give it the proper care it deserved. He smiled at how excited she was. "That's good. because I am sure it'll be great."
"Oh? Part-time job?" Minho asked curiously, looking at her. It was nice how attentive she was listening, not many did that and Minho was grateful for that. He then hummed slightly. "I'm working in an IT company. I'm helping developing programs and apps. More like I'm there to find mistakes in the code but... yeah." Minho chuckled softly. "Got me the experience I needed to master in my degree so yeah." He rubbed his neck. "Though currently it's a lot."
@l minho Her head nodded slightly, humming along as he laughed. "I love puppies but I have to admit they're quite chaotic at times so having the little bub around three cats would be quite the disaster." laughing softly as she shook her head. "Now i'm looking forward to get a little buddy of my own."
Niki faced the waiter and told her own order, looking back at him with an expectant grin. "Don't worry, I'll be listening carefully!" She motioned him to continue, her attention now on him. She hated when people won't listen to one when they're sharing something- knowing the feeling all too well. "That seems much more entertaining than mine- I just study and do my part-time job. Well when i'm not partying on the weekends that is." A wide smile on her lips as she shared about her own life. "What's your work though? It's amazing you can balance that with studying,"
@z niki "Thank you," Minho nodded and smiled slightly. He just wanted to make sure he did not accidentally send her the information about a case instead of his coworker so he needed to make sure she was safe and sound. He couldn't risk a civilian life being endangered after all. "Understandable! They are quite cute. I'm too busy to get a dog, aside from the fact that my apartment is too small for three cats and an additional dog." He laughed softly.
Waving the waiter over, Minho ordered. He waited for Niki to make his order as well before he turned back to her. "I mean, I'm not the best with talking about myself but I'll try, I guess." He chuckled. "I used to dance but decided to go for computer science and engineering. I do work while studying and if I have free time I often spend it inside my apartment playing with the cats or working a bit. I code when I'm bored so yeah. I do some sports too but... depends on the mood."
@l minho She nodded at his words, taking note of his little favor. "I promise I will." Niki rarely would text anyone, spending her time watching movies, reading and or composing songs so it'll be nice to talk to someone from time to time. Her lips formed a smile at the end of his sentence, laughing softly. "i'd probably do that, yes- i can't resist little the little fluffballs."
"Anything under the sun, really- whatever you can share." A smile adorned her lips as shrugged her shoulders gently. She didn't want to press anything that could make him uncomfortable and what not
@z niki "Good," Minho hummed and nodded. "Just make sure I know it's you." Not that many people texted him without him having their number saved but he wanted to be better safe than sorry. After all Minho never knew if someone from the company would text him eventually. But that would probably be different than Niki texting him. "I mean, you could probably get a puppy and a cat two. If you have the financial possibility."
"It's fine," Minho repeated. He didn't like sudden touches but this one had been okay. He had kind of seen it coming after all. "Mh? Sure, what would you like to know about me?" There was a lot to tell but he never told because some things he liked to keep as a secret.
@l minho Her eyes trained down to his nimble fingers as he wrote down his number, her own hands reaching for her phone to save his number. "Great. I'll text you soon." She kept her phone and pondered on his suggestion. She had always wanted to get a dog, wanting a companion she could have by the end of the day. "I'll probably get a puppy- but let's see what my indecisiveness picks."
NIki leaned into her seat, body shifting lightly to face him with a shy smile. "I got carried away." Mumbling softly before looking around. "Mind telling me about yourself, MInho?" gazing back at him with a grin.
@z niki "Sounds like a deal. Wait, I'll give you my number," Minho said and noted his number down on a notebook he kept with him. Even though he had a quick start option on his laptop, his brain worked faster so he needed to note it down in abstract ways. "Maybe you can get a dog again too, if you prefer that," he hummed. No matter what animal, every life was worth it.
"Mh, okay," he agreed as he knew arguing would be no use. He then nodded. "I'll try that then," he hummed. Sometimes trying new things was good. He shook his head. "It's fine, I just did not expect that." He chuckled amused.
@l minho "Then that's settled." Niki hummed softly, a small nod following. She was good with animals, but it was mostly dogs since she never got to take care of a cat. Niki laughed at his answer, agreeing with him. "I can relate, I spoiled by dog so much before." A happy sigh escaping her lips at the memory. An excited grin made its way to her lips, "I'll make sure to give you a heads up."
Her lips pursed, nodding lightly. "Fine- but I owe you one." She hummed softly, showing him a grin. "It's absolutely delicious, i promise." Her hand now retracting and and mumbling a soft apology, a light hue of red tinting her cheeks. "I-i'm sorry."
@z niki "Oh I surely can. We can go to a shelter and pick them together." Minho was really good with cats, or more like good with animals at all, but especially cats. He was well-informed after all. He laughed slightly when she asked him how much he had already spent on them. "A fortune. But they deserve it." Honestly, they deserved the world in Minho's eyes and he loved them dearly. "Surely. Let me know beforehand though so I am home."
Minho shook his head. "Nah, you are invited. I'll pay," he hummed and then smiled. "Iced vanilla does sound good too," he mused and blinked surprised when she poked his cheek. He hadn't expected that at all but he didn't mind so he only laughed
@l minho "Maybe you can help me choose then." She asked, a smile resting upon her lips, noticing the red hue tinting his cheeks. "Must be nice to get spoiled like that. But I wonder though, how much did you spent on them already?" squinting her eyes, laughing softy. Minho amused her, his friendliness was something else. "I might pay them a visit soon then."
"Alright then- I'll pay for my half." Niki grinned, waving her wallet at him playfully. "Oh I usually go for a cold brew, sometimes i go for an iced vanilla late when I'm craving something sweet." Her hand reaching out to poke his cheek gently.
@z niki "Get one from a shelter. I know a few really nice ones. They have small kittens up to older ones! Whatever you prefer, they have it. also get two. People say cats are loners but that's not true. They need company." Minho then noticed that he was rambling and getting to exited and blushed, rubbing his neck. "Oh, yes, they do. Whatever they want, they get." He chuckled slightly. "They are very friendly too. Though Doongie likes to be a sometimes." He snorted amused. Oh yes, sometimes that boy likes to be a .
"Guess we better get two pieces of cake then," Minho chuckled and looked up at her, smiling. "Ice americano, mostly. Though Latte is nice too. What about you." He tilted his head a bit.
@l minho "I'll think about it." Niki tapped his nose playfully, a cheeky grin on her lips. She had always wanted to adopt a pet, just very unsure if she could keep up with having the animal around. Her eyes now on his phone, cooing softly upon seeing that he had an entire folder for his cats. "Seems to me that they have you wrapped around their small paw." A wide smile now on her lips as she leaned in closer to look at the pictures, not noticing how close they are.
"Cake sounds amazing- I'm quite hungry now that you've mentioned food." Nodding at the idea of eating, more excited of getting her caffeine fix. "What's your go-to drink though?"
@z niki "I always support that," Minho chuckled. It wasn't a lie though. He loved when people supported shelters and such and he just wanted the world to be a little better and as it helped a little life to give it a home he was very supportive of it. To him it made the world a little better. He then grabbed his phone and opened the gallery. Minho had an entire folder just for his cats and he loved it. He started showing Niki the cats, adding a few stories whenever it fit. He liked talking about his cats, it filled him with happiness.
"Cake sounds good," Minho hummed in agreement. He'd probably get some cake as well, even though he hadn't eaten yet - so cake as breakfast was never a bad idea after all. He looked up when the waiter came and ordered, smiling a bit. He was really looking forward to cake and coffee.
@l minho "Sounds like you're persuading me to adopt a cat of my own-" she joked around, playfully nudging his side as she followed him, settling down on the chair next to him. "Show me the pics of the little bubs!" A wide smile painted on her lips, shaking her head at his small frown. "I hope so- I've always spoiled him." Her words a little softer than before at the thought. Niki tilted her head a bit at the question, "I'll have a cake- my sweet tooth has been acting up."
@z niki "Ah, but that happens," Minho admitted and brushed through his hair. He knew a lot about self-doubt though he had learned how to deal with it better. He was making sure he was his best self after all though it had taken some time for him to reach that point. "But as long as you are sure yourself that's good. That's all you need in life." He smiled at Niki. She was younger than him so where she was in life was already great.
"Yeah and it's easy to give them a nice space to live without them getting bored while you are gone. I'm glad about that," Minho smiled softly and then went to sit down at a table. "Sit down and I'll show you pics!" He then drowned when he heard that her dog had passed away. Well, that was sad but maybe she was right. "I am sure he is in a better place. I'm sure he had a good life with you." That counted the most after all. That they had a great time while being alive. He took the menu and hummed. "You want a sandwich or cake to it?"
@l minho His question got her to think about her own position in life, bottom lip trapped between her teeth as she mind tried to search for the right thing to say. Niki knew well enough about herself and her surroundings, giving attention to the right problems and not stick in others business, "I do, of course. But I'm not quite sure if people would think the same- I just doubt myself a lot." Her answer honest, flashing him a small smile.
Niki mumbled a soft "thank you" as she entered first, head turning to look back at him with a big grin. "I'd love to see them!" A wide smile plastered on her lips as his offer, nodding at his words. "With that I have to agree, Dogs are much more active than cats so I get you," His next question amused her, the hesitance in his voice making her chuckle softly, "Sadly no, A few months after I moved out... the little bub passed- but it's alright, he's in a better place now anyways."
@z niki "Guess I got lucky then too," Minho chuckled. He had always known what he wanted, dancing. But after a really nasty break to his leg and ankle he had never been properly able to recover from it. So he had concentrated on something else he liked, computer engineering. So here he was, studying to get as good as he could. "Do you know your place?" he asked curiously.
Minho opened the door of the cafe for Niki and hummed. "I can show you pictures of them if you want to. Dogs are really sweet too but we only had an apartment and now my apartment is even smaller so cats fit there perfectly." He hummed softly. "Is your dog... still alive?" he was worried it was a sensitive topic but he couldn't know if he didn't ask.
@c yena "I know we can," Minho chuckled and shook his head. "But we won't." Aside from the fact that it had been his idea, he also wanted to pay. He knew that Yena didn't have a lot of money and at the moment Minho did so he would definitely be the one paying. "You can choose some cake as well. Or sandwich. Whatever you prefer," he hummed and looked at Yena. He followed her over to a table and sat down as well.
This cafe was a good place to chill. Close to the university and the free WiFi was a steady one so Minho could easily use it as well. Either for work or just for watching stupid vine compilations. Ah, yeah, he missed that app. He grabbed the menu and checked what was currently offered and easily memorized what he wanted to have before leaning back.
Just to see Yena sigh. A frown is seen on his face and he tilted his head. "What's wrong?" It wasn't rare that they got not so happy tasks to do while in university but still. He checked his phone but there was no new message - good for him.
hello ^^
three days ago i updated my application for juyeon and i commented it under the comment where i commented that i applied for juyeon where i dont think any of the admins saw it ^^; and it was my fault. sorry about that
