*coming to a clearing, I was traveling a bit, and the moment i saw water, I rushed to it. taking off my shoes, socks and clothes. Only thing would be my boxers because come on, i could always go incognito to let them dry. I didn't waist no time, i rushed in the pond, it almost looked like a dive how i went into the water. sighs in content, I floated on my back. eyes closed and some empowerment to relax. something i haven't done in a bit. a soft hum escaping my lips and all i could do was stay mellow. Dipping down, i swam down and around the huge pond. a small waterfall but i didn't really get to it. My main focus was the swimming.
Sometime after, I tired myself out. Hitting a boulder, laying on it basking in the sun needed to get some dry off time* oh man. i could nap and then get up to go find some food. *pats stomach* I will be hungry when i get up. So for the meantime, i took out a small sandwich ate it while resting in the peaks of the sun. Taking a deep breath i let it out resting some*
@❧ Park Jimin "Aren't you the one who saved me?" Hyunjin said, surprised about how nice Jimin was to him. Hyunjin was so used to people being rough and arrogant but Jimin was sweet and gentle and caring and it made him feel so very warm. "Thank you," he said and smiled at him, his lips slightly. He felt the other's soft fingers against his skin and it was a new feeling. He rarely got touched by anyone so this was nice. He took a deep breath and nodded then, trying to just move along with the other. "Yeah, I can. Not entirely, like when I drown I turn or when I'm too dehydrated to be in my mermaid form while on land i turn too. Such things. But for most parts I can stay in the form I want to." It was convinient as it meant he could hide too. "I have to be careful for who sees what my form is. Some like to hunt down mermaids." And he hated this so much. "Scales are worth quite a lot."
Finally he could hear the water be so close and when Jimin started to walk faster Hyunjin stumbled though the urge to be closer to the water was strong. He took a deep breath as he kept walking with Jimin, staying close to him. "Finally," he mumbled and then the trees gave away a beautiful pond, shimmering in the sun. It looked so inviting and beautiful and for a moment Hyunjin felt like crying. Carefully he sat down on the edge and put his legs into the water, a soft smile on his lips. "So nice," he mumbled and looked at Jimin while the water was covering his skin. He had the urge to just jump in but with his still not healed injuries that would not be too smart. "It feels so nice," he then repeated and held his hand out for Jimin. "Come and sit with me."
@☵ Hwang Hyunjin The elf nodded his head, "I will, it is very kind of you and I really do appreciate it- all that you're doing." it felt nice to have someone there for him, the last person he had disappeared without a trace. It made him leery as to making friends and such, but his naive and kind behavior always does just the opposite for him. Catching his lower lip between his teeth, Jimin played with it a little, eyes focused down as to where they were walking; small fingers gingerly yet firmly grasping Hyunjin's bare side, he was warm, warm against the smaller's touch. He could clearly see the brighter tint which came to paint across the merman's face, though it was quite humid-ish out side and Hyunjin was- dehydrated? So he didn't think much of it but it did not go unnoticed.
"Oh.. so you can control it. Ah, I would agree because legs do help you to get around faster."
It wasn't long before the two males were coming upon the pond, the soothing sound of the pond and the trickling of water grew louder the closer they came. "…can you hear that?" Excitement coursed through the shorter male's body, his health regenerating and almost at full inside the safety of the forest, and it was subconscious when he began to move a little bit faster, aiding the merman to walk also with a hand guiding him on his side. "I- I see the water!" A smile formed on his lips and he almost 'almost' stumbled for he was trying to speedily walk. "It's not too far, right there, come on."
@❖ Podd Sriphothong [] oTL sorry love i got really busy. thanks for the wait love!
" why would I help someone like you? my complete opposite? you don't have to believe me but i don't really like ing around with anyone who seems lost or are injured. i have standards and morals. plus i have the ability to heal someone and i would like to use that ability for once. what would be the point of having an ability that you never use."
It would be quite sometime before the rain will seem to cease. Jaebeom pondered about for a slight second thinking on whether he should try to this stranger to a more dry location or just say it and heal the man here at the pond. Sure they were opposites but none of that mattered to him. If he truly wanted to hurt this person he wouldn't have spared one word and just attacked on sight. Oddly enough the other didn't seem like another NPC but he wasn't too sure they would be another player. Maybe.. just maybe if the other were like him and was sent off into this game then he would aid the other without hesitation.
@❖ Podd Sriphothong [] alrighty thanks love <3 i was worried that the length might be a problem.
There was a slight shift in the air causing a shiver to go down his spine. Jaebeom had always been sensitive towards his surroundings and it only had heightened once he had joined this world. Glancing up into the sky, he watched the sky darkened with clouds knowing what storm was brewing. Ears twitching at the booming voice, he slowly sits up from his laying position and tilted his head while his eyes wandered towards the stranger. Great. Whoever stood there on the other side of the pond had seen his tears. Scoffing, he flutters his eyes closed allowing his tears to fall which caused it to start sprinkling.
"that would be my question. what is someone like you wandering around these lands? are you lost? loosen that grip on your book. i am not a threat."
Fluttering his eyes opened, he sighs softly as the rain had come pouring down harder. The night was just getting even better by the second. First his wave of emotions hitting him out from the blue. Next a stranger witnessing his stupid tears. And now there was a possible chance that he could get sick from getting drenched from the rain caused by his pathetic tears. Noticing the other's injury, he takes a step forward with his hands up in the air.
"i see you have an injury. would you like some assistance? maybe i can heal it or at least find some type of healing herb."
A light breeze blew by causing loose leaves to fall and slowly dance along with the wind before landing upon the soft grass. Only the sounds of crickets had filled the empty forest. Jaebeom had leaned back against the base of the tree to glance up at the midnight sky watching how the stars were twinkling as his mind began to wander. How many days has it been since he has been summoned into this world? Will he ever be able to return to the old life that he had? Did any of his loved ones miss him? Did they even noticed his absence? Fluttering his eyes closed, he swallowed the lump in his throat while he attempted to hold back the tears. Why of all times did he have to think about the past life? He knew it would only continue to hurt and disappoint him. There was no point in thinking about it but he just couldn't help it. He missed it all. The job he hated so much and complained about every single day. His annoying family. The rude neighbors. The busy streets.
Overwhelmed with all the emotions brewing inside him, he couldn't help the tears streaming down his face. Usually he wouldn't let his emotions get to him but he craved his old life. Here in this world, everything was still unfamiliar and quite honestly scared the out of him. In this world, there was a higher risk he could die at any given moments due to starvation, dehydration or even being murdered. Jaebeom was used to a more peaceful lifestyle and craved it very much. Shifting his position, he leans over the ledge to glance at his reflection amongst the water's reflection and watched how each tear that dripped into the pond had created small ripples in the water.
