@♡ Bee For someone with no choice but to be hyperaware of peoples' body language and way of speaking, the other girl's tone didn't go unnoticed. She opened , ready to tell her that she'd rather just be corrected than loud and wrong, when the word test reached her ears. "Oh , okay," she uttered, caught off guard. She had to remind herself that it was 1) placement and 2) something her mom didn't even need to know about. It didn't do much for her and she had to physically stopped her hands from shaking while she flipped open the book. "I'm starting," she informed, reading over the first question. Though she was sure time was being kept, she kept a mental timer going in the back of her mind as she answered the questions she could and skipped others to save for the end. By the end, there were a couple of blank spaces and the others had been mere guesses.
@♕ Bora The delayed answer only made her annoyance rise. All the snobby kids were e same, thinking everyone was on their time.” Alright” she said as she her bag down gently on the table before getting on her knees in a comfortable sitting position to get ready to work” mhm..bee” she said softly, her voice soft yet held a sharp indent “ let’s start off with a placement test shall we? Just so I know where to start and what you do know “ the dark haired girl reached into her bag to remove the book which was medium in size “ you’ll have 20 minutes to get through how ever many you can “
@♡ Bee Despite the tons of places to sit, Bora rarely ever had people in her apartment. She didn't answer right away, mulling over what the best spot would be while her eyes followed the trail of her lip tint over her upper lip. "The...you can clear off the coffee table if you want," she finally responded, voice lifted to be heard through the walls. Satisfied with herself, she plucked a hair tie from a drawer and made her way out. "Bi, right?" she asked, pronouncing the first letter midway between a p and b as the word she assumed the girl's name to be. She'd only ever heard it spoken by the teacher that gave her the rec. She grabbed the random notebook she'd picked for this meeting from the island and took a seat on the couch.
@♕ Bora Bee honestly didn’t want to enter this building more than she already did. This girl was her second student that resided in this majestical building that might as well be considered a castle. Shoving her hands in her pockets as she makes her way towards the apartment and opening the door with a soft sigh” I’m here” she slipped off her torn and worn shoes and neatly seated them towards the side before venturing into the girl’s apartment “ where should we study?”
@♡ Bee "So, who'd you say was coming over again? Some guy?"
The curious voice of Bora's best friend echoed throughout her apartment, somewhat warped by the journey across lines. A humorless laugh escaped the heiress's lips, feeding tongs gripped in a neatly manicured hand stopping midway to grabbing a pinkie from the bag. She grabbed the device with her free hand, disabling speaker and nestling the device between her cheek and shoulder to continue feeding her king snake and talk.
"I wish," she uttered, briefly waving the tiny rodent across the snake affectionately named Nina's line of sight and scent before dropping it onto the bed of aspen. She watched the reptile gear up to attack its easy meal while continuing, "It's some girl that Jo-ssaem assigned me to....Bi, I think?" While her friend mulled over the name, calling it pretty, remarking on how it was supposed to rain soon, and then audibly going through her mental list of names, Bora began to clean up—both the feeding scraps and little things strew around from the past few days—humming in acknowledgement every now and then. "I've never heard of her," she finally interrupted before the list could go on too long. "It's not like it matters, anyway. As long as she can he—"
Her speech was cut off, interrupted by the doorbell. "Think that's her, I'll call you later," she promised, making her way out of her bedroom. A few back and forth goodbyes later, she made it to the intercom and firmly pressed the sticky button after concluding that she definitely didn't know the girl showing up on the video feed. "Come on up," she called into the speaker before leaving it be to freshen up her makeup.
