@Han Xing Guang ᶜᵒᵐᵐᵒⁿ ᵀʰᶦᵉᶠ The small woman inhaled softly. "Clearly... I don't think I've seen one around recently anyways..." She said, frowning. Watching the other lean against a branch, her own hold loosening on the trunk of the tree.
"Oh my god... Yes... They do." She sighed. "But like... I have to wear dresses to be more attractive for work..." She sighed. "I rarely ever get to change out of them." She just smiled. "But still... Some others might've."
@Mao Cuixia ᵗʰᵉ ᵉᵃʳˢ Xingguang shook her head slightly. “Anytime you leave the city the chance of danger goes up a lot. We need more hunters to keep everything in check.” she exhaled leaning back again another branch of the tree.
“Dresses get in the way right?” she chuckled. “I don’t think I own any dresses anymore. No problem though, I wasn’t exactly going to act like nothing was happening and leave you down there.”
@Han Xing Guang ᶜᵒᵐᵐᵒⁿ ᵀʰᶦᵉᶠ Cuixia let out a sigh of relief once she was up out of the creature's path. "God that was terrifying..." She huffed. "I just wanted to relax by the lake... Not get chased..." She looked at the other woman.
"Whatever it is... It's nasty... The breathing was so heavy and the noise it made was gross..." She hummed. "Thank you for pulling me up. It was hard for me to even help with this stupid dress..."
@Mao Cuixia ᵗʰᵉ ᵉᵃʳˢ She did what she could as the woman grabbed her hand, half dragging her up the tree as she kept her eyes on the beast that was following her, breathing a sigh of relief as she managed to pull the woman out of the way of the creature.
“I… I don’t know. It had tusks like a boar but I don’t think it was…” she furrowed her brow as she thought about what it was. “Dangerous though, if you weren’t quick enough it would probably have been nasty…”
@Han Xing Guang ᶜᵒᵐᵐᵒⁿ ᵀʰᶦᵉᶠ Cuixia kept praying silently for someone to appear out of nowhere. Anyone that could help her in whatever way possible. Whether that was killing the animal or merely helping her out of the way.
The voice startled her but she looked over, noticing the woman. "COMING!" She shouted back. Cuixia sprinted towards the tree, reaching her hand up to grab onto the woman's. Helping to pull herself up into the tree. Which was a struggle due to the dress. But she managed, clinging onto the tree tightly. "Thank you, so much!" She gave a soft sigh, closing her eyes. "What even is that thing?"
@Mao Cuixia ᵗʰᵉ ᵉᵃʳˢ She exhaled softly, closing her eyes and enjoying the gentle warmth of the sun, when she heard something growling, followed by the sound of screams. Almost instantly she jumped to her feet, rushing through the trees to see if she could find the source of the noise.
It didn’t take long until she spotted the woman, and whatever it was chasing her. She couldn’t tell exactly what it was, she wasn’t too familiar animals, but she could tell that it had tusks, and she had seen enough to know how dangerous tusks could be,
“Hey!” she shouted to the woman, trying to get her attention. “This way, this tree is an east climb! I’ll help you!” she yelled, watching for a few more moments before scrambled up the tree to a sturdy looking branch and reaching a hand down hoping that she’d be able to grab the woman and help her up the tree and out of the way of the charging animal.
@Han Xing Guang ᶜᵒᵐᵐᵒⁿ ᵀʰᶦᵉᶠ Cuixia hummed as she walked towards the lake. She just wanted to relax after a long day. And this would be the perfect spot. Until she heard both the sound of growls and sticks snapping behind her. In her sudden panic she started to run. She'd never encountered a wild animal and didn't know what else to do but run.
The loud thud of a large animal following her made her panic more. "HELP!" She practically screamed. Hoping there was someone nearby that could help her in some way. Her scream echoing through the trees as she sprinted to the best of her ability in her dress.
@Mao Cuixia ᵗʰᵉ ᵉᵃʳˢ She enjoyed the lake, it was calm and peaceful, usually quite quiet and separated from the hustle and bustle of the city. It was where Xingguang would come for a break, take her mind off everything she was doing to get what little money she could and just let her breathe easy for a few hours.
She’d done that today and now she sat at the edge of the lake, skimming rocks along the surface and trying to focus on the sounds around her, the birds, the occasionally rustling of leaves in the breeze and the even less frequent snapping of twigs.
I'm considering to join because hell I love chinese historical theme but who to be ... do you still need a specific character for a plot? will it also be okay if I am more active during the weekend because of uni+work?
