` in the goryeo dynasty, out of the era of many rulers and royal families, kim saeeun's family was the most revered, and loved but not the most famous royal family in history. saeeun was the princess of a king who loved his people even the commonfolk, whom he allowed open doors to on many events, special occasions and celebrations. next to him, his wife who is ever so loving and gentle and an icon amongst mothers and women alike. next to saeeun was her strong, tough, aggressive brother: saehyun. he was the black sheep of the family, often defying his father's orders and never listening to his mother's words of advice. saeeun wasn't the next in line to the throne, but her older brother saehyun was. on the eve of saeeun's father's birthday, an assassination took place in which her father was arrowed to the heart by an unknown assailant, dying almost instantly. as the kingdom and it's officials scrambled to move forth in crowning her brother as the next ruler, things began to take a turn for the absolute worst. among the mess, a simple commoner (you) decide to take matters into their own hands by planning their own assassination of the new king. in order to get close undercover, they set out to seek the queen mother and the princess who were banished from the kingdom into a hidden place within the forest, guarded 24/7 to help get into position beneath the devilish king's nose.
