[] i have no clue what a pierrot strike is but i read it as a pier so that is what it would be used for in this instance. This is an open if people want to answer, otherwise it's just a self para. ♥
_____It's almost midnight by now, and the cold has dropped to a temperature that could bite the flesh if it wasn't clothed in warm layers. At the given hour, the pier was closed, but Yongguk was anything but a law keeper at the given moment. Hopping the simple road block that said in bold letters 'CLOSED', his frame went and stood at the far end of the dock, choosing to stare down at the black abyss that swayed and lapped up as if to beckon down. There were no near by lights, and with it, no reflection. Yongguk folded arms up on the wooden bracing and sighed in discontent. "I don't know what to do.." He spoke out quietly. to the darkness. Shoulders were as slumped as they could be with arms prompted high, and a frown so heavy it felt attached by weight.
_____Despite his earlier claims of 'going to smoke', his feet brought him here- but to what avail, may never be known. Unsure what to do with the troubles that swirled in the mind, Yongguk chose to sing to himself, which didn't last long, and thus settled into a comforting hum, something/anything to self soothe. Within 5 minutes of attempting to self soothe, it back-fired and his frame slumped to the wooden floorboards, and, he cried. The hoodie worn was pulled over the head not only for warmth but to cover his wet face. Did he forget to take his medicine the passing couple days? Why on earth was he so emotional? It didn't matter, accepting and feeling it made him feel like yet sedating/resisting was only temporary, and the emotion always seemed to come back with a vengeful force. Either way, felt like a lose-lose situation, and so he felt conflicted on how to best handle it. But at least in the moment, crying helped.
_____As his own cries rang out in his ears and increased in volume it was realized that his voice could project and still draw attention, and just as quickly as the cries could be heard within earshot, they lowered to naught but a whispering wheeze. After spending an unknown amount of time having a full blown mental breakdown, Yongguk told himself he needed to get up and go home. Not only because he was exhausted from the emotional strain, but from discomfort of the chilly night air and nearby ocean keeping things a chilly 30 degrees Fahrenheit. He just, .. needed to convince himself to stand, but did he? No.
