@♗ Handong (h) /steps into the kitchen after hours, trying to remain as silent as I can be, though not sneaking
/begins to make a simple pancake breakfast and hums quietly

@♖ Song Mingi Irene smiled and she chuckled at his words. “It’s okay! You have a cute simple to make up for it.” she said and watched him get the cake from the oven. “Mm we should let it cool off a few minutes or the coating will melt and drip.” she added abd peeked at the cake. She breathed in. “Mm it does smell nice though! And sure, I’d love to help you!”

@♖ Bae Irene His head ducked alittle in embarrassment from her praise” ahaha..thank you! I think it’s abit fried though from my younger years of dying it and bleaching “ he reaches up to ruffle his hair before turning on his heels to pop the oven open. Almost immediately he was greeted by the lovely scent of chocolate, the thick aroma swirling around his senses made a happy little shiver run up his spine “ all done and ready to coat” he said in a sing song type of voice as he set it in the table before reaching for the buttercream and the smoothing spatula “ will you help me? I’ve never been good and decorating “

@♖ Song Mingi Irene’s face flushed up at the compliments and she smiled at him, nodding her head politely. “Thank you, Mingi. You’re very sweet. And of course, I’d love to!” she agreed and moved a bit closer. “I love to decorate them as well.” She soon saw him walking to her and blushed some more as she felt his hand through her hair. She leaned a bit into his touch and smiled, enjoying having her hair being played with. “Thank you! You’re so sweet.” she let out. “Oh! I don’t remember the brand. It smells like coconut though!” she said and reached over to pat Mingi’s head, moving on her tiptoes. “Your hair seems nice too! Looks good”

@♖ Bae Irene His head nodded gently “ I would really like that. I mean..what man wouldn’t want to cook with a beautiful woman right? Also, mind helping me decorate the cake? Sure it’s just for me but presentation still matters ” His signature goofy smile once more appeared on his face as he got down from his spot on the counter to come closer to her, one large hand reaching out to gently twirl a loose strand of her silky hair. He admired the glossiness and the color as it twirled around his finger before eventually falling back into its natural position. The color complimented her complexion beautifully. “What shampoo do you use? Your hair is amazing..”

@♖ Song Mingi “Oh that sounds lovely! Mochi is delicious for that! Good idea!” she said. As she heard his next words, she chuckled and tilted her head back. “Awe Mr. the vampire!” she joked and winked at him. “I love seafood as well! We could make some seafood pasta together another day.” she told him and grinned. “But I also agree with the tea. It is lovely to enjoy some in the morning or early afternoon.” Irene noticed how he was looking at her suddenly and blinked a few times. “Is all okay?” she asked, only to hear the compliment about her hair. She blushed and smiled, bowing down a bit. “Thank you, Mingi! It’s soft. Wanna feel it?”

@♖ Bae Irene “Oooh matcha and strawberries are perfect together. I want to experiment with the idea of strawberries and matcha mochi but I don’t know how well that’ll play out “ he gave a nervous chuckle and a small motion of him scratching the back of his head nervously “mhm! Hence why I’m borderline a vampire. Can’t stand the sun at all” he shudders once more before looking at her with a curious little head tilt”uuuh…pastas are on the favorites list so are most seafood based dishes,I adore green tea and matcha anything much like Oreo or cookies and cream anything..uhm…im not very diverse in my food pallet honestly which is ironic since I love to cook” he chuckles alittle. Before he realized it, his eyes had wondered to her hair to look at the thick bundle of hair neatly wrapped into a ponytail atop her head” your hair is beautiful wow”

@♖ Song Mingi She let out a few chuckles as she heard his words and agreed with him. “You know, lemon and lavender is lovey if you were want to try it and matcha and strawberries.” she told him, suggesting a few ideas. She noticed how tall he was as he leaned over the counter and still was taller than her. At his next words, she looked amused. “Oh! Are you sensitive to the sun too? I get skin rashes when it’s too hot.” she added. “Well, I don’t eat those everyday. Don’t worry! I’m just open minded to trying new things and I love to do so.” she said. “What are your favourite foods other than cakes and Oreos?” she questioned him and leaned back against the table a bit.

@♖ Bae Irene His head shook rapidly, face contouring into an expression of disgust at the thought it mixing Oreos and strawberries “oh no no not strawberries. Most likely Oreos and chocolate.” As he turned around to face her, his hands went behind him to rest on the counter top to hoist his body weight up on it to sit comfortably” but yea..nice weather is a plus and all but working out in the sun is simply brutal..especially for those of us that burn like bad spaghetti” a shudder ran up his spine as he remembered a point in time when he was covered in sun burns. His head shook as he listened to her, eyebrows raising in mild surprise and concern “ uhm..are you ok? Like..doesn’t surface send you flying off the walls? I mean it’s great you have a diverse sweet pallet! Mine consists of Oreos,Oreos,and more Oreos” he laughs softly

@♖ Song Mingi “I suppose that the nice weather helps as well to give us energy along with the sun being up longer lately.” she answered, but then grinned as she heard him. “oh, you’re putting strawberries in? definitely chocolate or vanilla then!” she added and chuckled. “well, of course! i’d love to taste it. i’m sure that you’re good enough.” she teased and blushed as she saw his wink. “mm, well i love pastries a lot like puff cream, chocolatines, amandines... i also adore macarons, baklavas, cookies, cupcakes... anything practically! i have a sweet tooth.”

@♖ Bae Irene He nodded in agreement with her statement about the days, agreeing that the days didn’t seem as long and drawn out as they used to. He wasn’t all too sure if he liked it or not “mm that flavor is most likely gonna be chocolate of course. I don’t think strawberries and Oreos go together “ his normally deep husky voice took on a light and airy innocence as he laughed “wanna split it? You can taste it and tell me I’m good enough to be a world class baker “ he gave her a playful wink as he maneuvered over to the sink to wash his hands thoroughly “ what kind of dessert do you like?”

@♖ Song Mingi Irene was surprised as she heard him and she smiled. “You don’t have to call me ma’am. I’m just a maid around here...” she told him, amused. “Not yet?” she then asked with a light laugh. ”Oh, right! I am quite busy I suppose, but it’s okay. My days go by quickly.” she added and gasped as she felt the flour falling on her dress, apron and face. She let out a giggle, scrunching her nose. “Well, what’s the flavour of the cake? I personally prefer Oreos, but it depends on your taste or the one that you’re making it for.” she answered and peeked at his cute smile.

@♖ Bae Irene He blinked, mildly confused by the formality as it wasn’t a custom he was used to but he welcomed nonetheless with a small cheeky smile “im baking a cake and no ma’am I do not need help…yet” he paused for dramatic affect before chilling as his gaze followed the woman around the kitchen” i was surprised I didn’t see you here, it’s practically your home. I swear if they’d let you out a tent in here, you would “ he playfully whilst flicking a tiny bit of flour her way before lifting the bowl up to fill the molding pan” I have t quite yet decided whether I want to fill it with chocolate or Oreos..help which one?” He looked back at her with his goofy smile that mildly resembled a puppy

@♖ Song Mingi Irene had been cleaning around a few rooms for the past few hours and she really needed a break. She thought about perhaps baking something for everyone here. The woman fixed her hair, a strand falling in front of her eyes as she made her way to the kitchen only to spot someone familiar there. She had seen him a few times around the area, but never spoken to the tall man before. Irene immediately bowed down and she peeked up with a smile as she noticed the apron and messy look, amused by it. “What are you making, sir? Do you need some help?” she questioned him and moved to wash her hands, wiping them on a clean clothe and getting an apron.
The maid looked around the counter and she giggled as she saw the flour all over it. She also adored how freeing baking could be.

@♖ Bae Irene “Another day, the same bull”Is what he thought quietly to himself as he made his way to the kitchen with a stomach whose rumbling was louder than the soles of his shoes hitting the spotless floors” mmm…I guess a cake will do” he knew it wasn’t the healthiest option but the sweet filling of the butter cream combined with the soft velvety texture of the cake would not only satisfy his sweet tooth but also ease his mind.
Heading to the fridge, he got out the ingredients to begin the baking process; cracking the eggs and pouring them into a bowl, the butter, the milk, and the flour were soon to follow into the large bowl. His hands were a mess and so was the apron he had adorned earlier prior to entering the kitchen but he hadn’t a care to give, he adored the messy aspect of baking just as much as he adored the sweet taste.
