"I mean, i usually see you through a screen so it's a nice change." He applied, not wanting to seem to eager or anything and remains to look focused. "Also you said you could use a drink, your hand is empty..or are you just trying to be safe? I completely understand since we're practically strangers."
"Surreal?" Karina exhaled a laugh, quite unsure if she should take his comment as a genuine compliment or effortless flirtation. The latter was dangerous, and she was wary. Still, the last thing she wanted was to come off as rude. She decided to entertain him, for now. "Surreal, huh? Fancy word. You flatter me."
"Yeah but you girls seem to have a busy schedule lately, how do you juggle that inbetween?" Taking another sip from the glass before placing it down onto the table and sunk himself back into the cushions for comfort as he maintained his focus on her to show that he was listening. "I gotta ask first though, it's nice to finally see you from upclose. You look ..surreal."
"Work out, hang out with friends, other stuff." Karina shrugged, eyeing the glass he took from her. She frowned, then pushed herself off the seat to follow him to the couch. When she sat down, she made sure to put some distance between them. Just a few inches, not more than that that the distance was uncomfortable for the both of them.
"Well. So I'm curious, what do you usually do in your spare time?" He picks up the glass of margarita to take a sip instead since she seemed unbothered by it, his eyes flickered up and down at Karina just as he walks past to take a seat on the couch and patting the empty space beside him.
"I'm just tired, that's all," she said. She didn't care to continue their previous conversation. "Nothing's wrong, really. I'm just tired and need a break."
"Why would i poison it? You're a part of SM..geez, i wouldn't wanna get hunted down." Shaking his head at the thought of being chased by SM cults. "You didn't tell me whats wrong with you Rina."
"Well you get what you get Princess, you know where the bar is." Sliding the glass towards her, turning on the tap to wash his hands afterwards before making his way over to sit on the stool beside the female. "Talk to me, is it the performances?"
Karina sent him an unimpressed stare before sitting down on one of the stools by the bar. "I didn't even tell you my order." She pursed her lips, then in a deep breath. "Nothing. Just tired."
"I think i can get you a glass of milk." Flashing her a sarcastic smile just he was rubbing the rip of the glass with lime before dipping it a tile of salt to fix her a glass of margerita. "So whats on your mind? Are you okay?" He asks out of concern.
"I was just walking around," Karina told the male. She didn't move from her spot by the door for another moment, hesitating. After a second of contemplation, she sighed, and made her way closer to him. "I could use a drink."
Just as he was about to head towards the open bar, the male averted his attention towards a familiar voice which causes him to raise a brow. "Oh. Are you here for a drink too?"
Karina, who had aimlessly been walking around the corridors, wandered into this room out of curiosity. Her eyes scanned the area until a figure caught her attention, and she raised a brow, clearly surprised. "Mingyu?"
