The White Knight who was watching quietly from the side rose from his seat and walked forward and bowed to the Queen and the fawn. "Forgive me, my lady, but not everyone can play croquet. At least, not creatures that are without arms and opposable thumbs."

" No. And I don't think I can since I have four legs, " retorted the fawn.

The Red Queen glared at the fawn for a full minute before asking in a completely different manner- "...In that case, do you know how to play croquet?"

The fawn's eyes widened, as if they could get any wider. Her eyes shone the fear and shock that was unable to be hidden.
" N-nothing! " the fawn stammered, in a squeaky voice.

"What was that!" roared the Queen, her temper as sunshiny as ever...which is to say, ten times worse. "You! Fawn! What did you say!", she demanded, childish cruelty shining in her eyes.

The fawn, if possible, laughed once it heard a 'meow' sound. It obviously came from a cat. Then the little fawn was startled once it heard the Red Queen's booming voice. The doe jumped back a feet and yelped.

The fawn stepped into the forest, looking at its surroundings. The place was very unusual, and insane, like it says in the name. There were gigantic mushrooms, roses with faces etched onto them, and a unicorn. " This must be a pleasant place.... " the fawn mumbled.
