@⌖ tom tyrell an alliance, as expected from the head of house. the renewal of alliance indeed. seungwan already knew of her father's alliance with them and he had good connections from the reach because of it, however, she's not like her father. she nodded and put down her cup, looking more of a serious gaze onto him. "the renewal of alliance with the current head would not go easy, lord tyrell." she told before she taps her fingers against the wooden table.

"a good alliance comes with an equivalent exchange, i do not go to just words. i need proof of alliance, not just in words or a paper, what do you offer for this matter, lord tom of house tyrell?" she explained before looking at him, "i am not like my father, i need proof and actions."

@⌖seungwan stark “I dare not be too casual, my lady,” responded Tom courteously. “At least, allow me to address you as Lady Seungwan.”

At the prompt, Tom took their seat too, smiling with a word of thanks as they took the arbor gold and silver goblet from Seungwan. Pouring themselves a cup of fine wine, Tom carefully sipped the beverage, feeling the heat in the back of their throat when they swallowed.

“I hope everything has been well in the House of Stark,” offered Tom as they set the goblet down, words kind. “It is not easy to handle affairs and represent as the head while taking care of family matters.”

Tom stared at their goblet for another moment, took a gulp of arbor gold before stating, “I’m here to form an alliance with the House of Stark, as the Tyrells had with the former head. I’m pretty sure you know that much already, my lady.”

@⌖ tom tyrell the head of the starks only nodded and sees the bottle of hippocras with him, a sign of good will from the tyrells. she never had met the tyrells, only their father whom had met the people from the reach to make a good term. knowing they are nothing but passionate and peaceful house, they are also known for their knowledge in war and battles.

"let's bring down the formality, lord tyrell. no councilmen nor guards would listen to our conversation." seungwan started before she seated on her seat and prompted him to take a seat across hers, "please take a seat." she told her before giving him an empty silver goblet and a pitch of arbor gold. "and please, help yourself pouring the finest wine i can give you."

@⌖seungwan stark The magnificent doors opened to reveal the great hall. Waiting within were the council and Queen Seungwan Stark. All eyes were on Tom as they strode in, their assistant following closely behind.

“Your welcome is as warm as the hot springs, your majesty,” greeted Tom in return with a bow, their servant also showing their manners. “I thank you for the warm welcome.”

“The travel was smooth, your majesty,” confirmed Tom as they straightened, watching as the council left the great hall — along with their assistant as to give the two heads of houses privacy for their meeting.

After the doors closed, Tom smiled softly. “It is a pleasure to formally meet you, Queen of the North. I brought with me a bottle of hippocras as a sign of geniality.”

Before the succession, Tom only knew the former head of House Stark. The number of times they met could be counted on one hand, and the visits to the north were even lesser. They were well aware of the Stark children, but this was their first time meeting one.

Queen Seungwan’s succession is not news anymore, but Tom was busy at the time to pay a visit. Though they and the former house head weren’t close, they were still on cordial terms. Tom thought it would be best to set the same friendly relationship with the current head of house.

@⌖ tom tyrell as the winter falls its snow to the ground of the north, many had been noticed upcoming war that has yet to come. seungwan wanted to avoid any battles during her reign as the queen of the north, she never wanted to make a bloodshed on a snowy ground as possible. she had been notified by an emissary from the reach that the head of house tyrell will be visiting to the north in a few days, she put on her best dress for the occassion.

seungwan have known tyrells for their passion and just, as well as a thorn in their enemy's side. their sigil says it all. she had a small hint of worry that their negotiation would go terrible if she did one mistake during their discussion. she was waiting at the great hall where all of the noble guests and royalties could be in one room with a stark, she was holding a goblet of arbor gold, the most expensive wine in all of westeros yet only seungwan among her family could afford it in exchange for the spoils of her war.

then she heard a knock on the wooden door, the guards had notified that the lord of the reach has come. "let him in." she told and the guards obliged before they opened the door for the head of the tyrells to enter. seungwan turned around to see lord tyrell for the first time, "lord tyrell, welcome to winterfell and the north." she greeted and kept a slight smile on her face.

"i supposed the snow doesn't hinder your arrival here." she added before the members of the council makes a demanding welcome which dismisses by the lady of winterfell, "my lords, please leave us for a brief discussion. it is only for the two heads to speak of terms and agreements." she wished before all of the council members starts walking out of the hall before the guards had closed the door.

@⌖seungwan stark The carriage came to a stop before the entrance of the castle. The accompanying servant opened the coach door from outside, bowing their head in respect. They stepped aside to allow Tom exit, holding the door ajar.

Tom stepped out of the carriage, hugging their winter cloak close. The servant closed the coach door and with a wave, the carriage pulled away. Two guards greeted Tom and their assistant.

“Lady Seungwan sent us to lead you. Please follow us,” spoke one of the guards, curt yet respectfully.

Tom nodded, following the guards along with their servant. They walked through the castle, warmth seeping into the bones. They soon arrived to their destination, halting in front of two great doors.

The other guard knocked on the wooden doors, announcing, “Lord Tom has arrived, my lady.”
