*˚✦ about the world
Although set in the future (5972), the world has drastically changed since the petrification incident and has become closer to a high fantasy setting with a mix of futuristic and magical elements (think Final Fantasy XII). Hardly any humans from the 21st century remain and the world is primarily populated by supernatural beings due to wars and whatnot. It is also one supercontinent for the most part with bits and pieces of land broken off from the main land. Things like cell phones, TV, cars, and computers haven't been used in ages, but we still have things like letters to help us communicate. And with the help of magical items, we've established things like teleportation crystals (waystones), projection crystals (capture crystals), communication crystals, potions, and magic-operated airships.
*˚✦ world regions
Sola Cities
Origo: The main and oldest sola city. Also where the RP takes place. There are no waystones leading to it and it's surrounded by a magical veil. It was founded by people of all different types of species that had no place to call home and were tired of the wars, and had been providing people refuge for the past 400 years. Its specific whereabouts are unknown to most above-ground beings, but rumor has it that those in Origo live deep within a mountain's caves as well as underneath it. It has four levels where everything from horticulture to simple smithing is done, and two residential levels beneath where everyone can rest and recover. There is a rumored seventh level but no one knows anything about it other than it's not somewhere you want to be.
Rehm
Luschia: The western most region of the world. It is a general region where most Elves, Treants, and Beastmen call home. It is home to many of the plains, forests, woods, and jungles in Rehm and the farther east one goes, the more desert-like it gets. There is currently one waystone located in the Delmida Lush. Everywhere else, one has to walk to on foot.

Notable Sub-Locations:
  • The Spiritwood: A woodland where spirits and spiritual beings are strongest. It is hidden by a magical veil and only those who are able to communicate via aura are able to come across it naturally. Others are able to enter the Spiritwood with the help of a spiritual being or by being called to it in their dreams. Once they've entered the Spiritwood, they are able to travel through a large wood that has otherwise been untouched by man. It's primarily made of treehouses and tree establishments, as well as the bridges between them. Many wild animals inhabit the area beneath and are said to be vicious toward intruders, so people visiting are said to be very strong or very careful. One cannot teleport here via waystone.
  • The Delmida Lush: A village in the forest where most Elves specifically live. It rests at the base of a tall mountain with a waterfall that leads into a river. Many flora and fauna thrive here and many elves are able to prosper as a result of it being otherwise uninhabited by anyone but them and a few mix-ins of other species. There is a waystone for teleportation located in River's Rest.
  • The Neirheim Dungeons: A prison fortress that harbors common criminals uptop, and the hardened criminals within its depths. This fortress was created specifcally to house criminals, so there are several traps and systems in place for those who try to escape it.
  • Tomb of Xerius: A tomb for the former King Xerius. It is currently off limits and adventurers are said to steer clear due to it being highly dangerous and because there is a mysterious sense of dread looming over the land.
The Sohm Sands: A desert wasteland for the most part that rests a little ways past the Tomb of Xerius. It's home to people of all sorts, but most importantly, it fosters the largest and most bustling kingdom in Rehm—the royal capital of Aurum. There are three waystones in each sub location listed below. Aurum also has an internal network of waystones in the major districts of the city.

Notable Sub-Locations:
  • Norsand: An expansive desert with little to nothing left there. A lot of what exists are actual remains from the past and sand dunes. Once and if you get past the expanse, you'll reach an oasis town by the name of Garlea. There you will find the waystone if you are able to use it. If not, there is a labyrinth some distance away from Garlea that leads directly into Aurum if you know the way through.
  • Aurum: Royal capital and the most prosperous kingdom despite where it's located. It's rather large and the harbors the closest thing you'll get to actual cities. It is run by Beastmen, and they welcome creatures of many kinds, but humans are likely to exist here as slaves or laborers if they don't live in Origo. Not many elves visit or live here because they prefer to reside in Luschia's Delmida Lush, but they are a common species to see running about the streets. Aurum also has a waystone that can take people to other regions with ease, but only royals have access to it. Everyone else either relies on the city's internal waystone system, airships, beast transportation, or their own feet to get around.
  • The Southersands: Outside of the capital, the Southersands rest in the southeastern desert leading to Lyren. Compared to Norsand, it's fairly smaller and safer to traverse through. The waystone for this section of the region lies in a tiny village called "Ver Village" at the edge of the desert and leading into Lyren. Just before you reach that village, however, you'd have to cross the Soulsea—a sandy plain covered in old buildings and weapons said to have many souls still lurking around or haunting the land. Most people who cross the Soulsea cannot do so without seeing at least one malicious spirit that wants to do them harm.
Sovengraad: A floating landmass just above Luschia and the Sohm Sands where the Dragoniers reside. Not much is known about the territory externally as Dragoniers guard the knowledge they have on it very closely these days, but it was once home to many Dragoniers. After a lot of the wars that took place both internally and externally, "many Dragoniers" turned to a few straggling communities that still call Sovengraad home. There is only one waystone in Dravisanti, but access to it has been somewhat restricted as the Dragoniers are trying to rebuild.

Notable Sub-Locations:
  • Drakenheim Shrine: At the highest point of Sovengraad is the Drakenheim Shrine. It is a shrine that is partly in ruins due to war, but still stands tall and serves as a place of refuge and shelter for Dragonier survivors because of how bad the wars got. Before all the warring, the shrine was a place of worship for the Dragonier's Chosen—Dragoniers blessed by the creator and said to have a special connection with them. Many Dragoniers, though generally religious, were basically ocassional visitors at the shrine up until today, offering prayer mostly when they needed it. The Dragonier's Chosen still care for the shrine and hold services for the remaining Dragonier population, but a lot of their focus has shifted to protecting and rebuilding their community.
  • Dravisanti: What used to be a busy city with a thriving nightlife, has nearly been abandoned with how desolate most of it has become. Nowadays, people mainly come to help restore the city to its former glory, or host different events to lift the spirits of their kind. They also come to mine precious ore for various reasons.
Lyren: The Easternmost region that is primarily populated by wild beasts and mosters. Most beings that actually live here have to travel a ways to get to the habitable zone along the coast. Population wise, it is mostly Beastmen, Humans, and Elves that live in that area. There are two waystones in Thetyra: one in the main city and one in its Port of Ocerris.

Notable Sub-Locations:
  • Galtrite's Keep: A vast forest full of danger. It makes up 65-70% of Lyren and the deeper you go the more likely you are to run into said danger. Just beyond it, though, is the coastal city of Thetyra.
  • Thetyra: (pronounced Te-TEE-rah) a coastal city that is considered the "Kingdom of Adventures" by outsiders since it hosts a large adventurers guild to manage all the monsters in Galtrite's Keep, and the strongest adventurers live here witht their families. Thetyra generally remains neutral in conflicts and has always been treated as sort of a safehaven for warriors who want out of the wars that took place. As long as they weren't human, at least. In recent years, the city has become more welcoming of humans, though there is still a long way to go as far treating them equal goes. Especially here, since a lot of Thetyra's residents have a "fight for what you want" attitude.
There are other regions of the world that exist, but these are the most important ones at the moment.
