Tavern

@♤ Thorn Oakenshield Stepping into the tavern across such a cold evening, Amara's breathes became less cloudy as she moved more in depth to the tavern. Snow thankfully hadn't begun, but the temperature was dropping more so, which made her travels a little longer due to needing to regroup her supplies. Hence even in the midnight light, she decided to end her day at the rustic tavern of all places in the midst of the unclaimed lands, rummaging through her cloak pockets for some coin. "Ale, please." her usually get up of black paint across her eyes and neck was gone, as she hadn't the means to wear it (she wasn't going to meet any bidders or wisemen), so her sharp cheek bones and creamy skin were clear as day without the intimidation factor. She pulled her hood down from her face, her long brunette locks slightly curling under the weather as they cascaded down the back of her cloak. She slumped her body into a stool and awaited her drink, resting her forearms on the edge of the counter as she drifted slightly into the space of her mind. She was tired, but she could carry on a bit longer. She needed to decided if she would get a room here for the night or go find a cave near by to rest.

@♡ Leisealia Liketi Bella let out a soft laugh, nodding. Especially Piaro guards. They're a bunch of idiots at times. Until something serious goes on, then they're quite smart. "Oohhh... Yeah... My parents don't question when I lock my door, I do it too often for them to question me anymore." She said, smiling. She was glad someone else understood just how castle life drove people insane. "Honestly... It's why I sneak out so often..." She laughed softly, nodding. "Exactly!"

@♡ Bella Piaro She smiled underneath her scarf, chuckling lightly at the mention of guards jumping at rabbits. "Typical of them..." she hummed, shaking her head. "I have too many family who would pay no attention to those rulesss. I have to make them think I'm not home." she sighed before humming and nodding in agreement at the girls mention of going insane. "I underssstand. I can't be there for too long. I need to be other placesss." she nodded. "Which isss why we're here!"

@♡ Leisealia Liketi Bella couldn't help but let out a soft laugh. Not that anyone in this area would recognize her anyways. "Complete and utter fools... It could've been a rabbit for all they know and they jump at it... Like dogs." She sighed. Listening to Laylee's answer. "Oooh... Quite clever~. I locked my door and gave strict instruction not to bother me for any reason." She took a sip of her ale and sighed. "Stressed? They're so... Confining... I'm going insane in that castle..."

@♡ Bella Piaro Laylee nodded and smiled beneath her smirk, shaking her head slightly. “Guardmen can be a fool from time to time, can’t they?” she chuckled slightly. “Calm, nobody had woken when I took Ash, and I told my brother I would be seeking out a rare bird, nobody will know I left the kingdom.” she smiled and nodded to herself, glad to hear that the other girls journey had been similarly good. “Anyway, how are you?”

@♡ Leisealia Liketi Bella hummed softly, setting her ale down she she wasn't just sitting there holding it. It was nice, to finally get out and make a friend. Or... Meet one she made through messenger birds. She took the hood of her cloak down, smiling.
"It was pretty easy... The guards on duty were a little stupid. One little noise and they go running after it." She said, smiling. "But yes... The trip was rather... Freeing. It was very nice. How was your journey?"

@♡ Bella Piaro She had been fiddling with her hands, staring at them awkwardly as she waited for the other girls arrival. Every time the door open, she glanced up, before looking back to her hands as she realised it was some dweller of the unclaimed lands. Then finally she looked up, seeing a young woman in a cloak. Her eyes widened slightly and a smile spread across her face underneath the scarf as she waved to the girl, watching her get closer and awkwardly standing up for a proper greeting.
"Ah, I didn't know you'd be able to sssneak out her..." she started. "Laylee, ah sssorry, you already know that." she shook her head, laughing slightly before sitting back down. "I hope the journey fared you well?"

@♡ Leisealia Liketi Today was an exciting day for Bella. Fitted in a shirt that left her wings exposed and a pair of tight pants. She put on a cloak and grabbed her bag before slipping out the gates of the castle in pitch black. Once she was far enough from the castle she threw off the cloak and got a running start before she took off into the sky. Weaving through the trees to keep low enough to not be spotted. Though the cover of darkness hid her well. She dropped to the ground less than a mile from her destination. She put her cloak back on and put her hood up, walking into the tavern. She laid her eyes on a girl before she ordered her ale and walked to sit with her, a smile on her lips.
"Nice to finally meet you." She whispered.

@♡ Bella Piaro Today was the day at last. After months of sending birds back and forth with one of the Piaro princesses and growing a distant friendship, they had finally agreed to meet, on neutral territory of course. Somehow they'd decided to meet at a tavern in the unclaimed lands, where neither family had any sort of rule and where nobody would be likely to spy on them. Still it was a secretive journey as she snuck out from the palace to the stables, choosing Ash, a light grey mare with a mane that seemed to be constantly messy, in the hopes that choosing something so normal would help her disguise.
She was wearing fitted riding gear with long sleeves to hide the scales on her arms, and a scarf wrapped around the lower half of her face, hiding and split tongue that gave away her heritage too quickly.
It was still dark when she mounted the horse and raced across the lands, the sun only beginning to bless the lands when she was halfway through her journey, and finally as she reached her destination the sun had just passed it's highest point.
Silently she tied Ash to a post next to a water trough, before setting up some food she'd brought for the mare, before entering the tavern, ordering a pint of ale and taking a seat towards the back, waiting and hoping that the Piaro princess would show up.
