@Uehara Yuriko ᴷᵉʳᵒᵏᵒ "Ooh~ I'm 18 now and 19 at the end of August~ guess we're almost 1 year apart hehe I'll call you my eonni then!" She grinned back in return, paying full attention to her story and nodding along at the right pauses, amazed at what the older female has been through; there were indeed many different ways of becoming a trainee and with different people having different experiences prior to that, she thought. "Ah~ I'm not that great, you're obviously better hahaha~" A laughter escaped her lips, nodding at the determination as the game started up. "Go go go!"
@Cho Yiyeon ᴶᵃⁿᵍ ᵂᵒⁿʸᵒᵘⁿᵍ “I’m 19 now, 20 in September!” she grinned as she spoke. “When I graduated I wasn’t sure what to do, but when I was 14 I was in the exchange program, so I spent 6 months over here training with Korean trainees and it was so much more intense, and the dancing was more my style, especially since even my graduation solo had like zero dancing in it, so I decided to apply for kpop companies two years ago and got accepted here a year ago.” she grinned slightly and nodded. “You’re pretty good at Japanese!” she complimented before laughing at the girls declaration of competitiveness. “I’ll do my best for you!”
@Uehara Yuriko ᴷᵉʳᵒᵏᵒ "Oh.... and how old are you now? But that's really cool, already having experience as an idol. Why did you choose to move to Korea then?" She quips, curious at her choice before chuckling and softly reply back to her in Japanese, still stumbling over some words. "Songs? Uhh k-kpop of course, and some.. we-western music? English music? Is that what it's called? Hahaha." Blowing up her cheeks, she shifted closer, getting comfortable on the chair she sat on. "I like to win though. I'm competitive haha so you better win~"
@Cho Yiyeon ᴶᵃⁿᵍ ᵂᵒⁿʸᵒᵘⁿᵍ She chuckled slightly at the idea of being in the 48 groups before shaking her head. “Nothing as big as those. I was in Joshi Gakuin JG. It was middle school themed so we joined at 11 and graduated at 16.” she hummed as she spoke before giggling, glancing at Wonyoung and beginning to speak Japanese to her. “What sort of songs do you like?” she question before grinning. “It’s all the taking part that’s fun, winning or losing doesn’t matter too much to me.”
@Uehara Yuriko ᴷᵉʳᵒᵏᵒ "Ah I see I see! An idol back in Japan... were you part of the 48/46 groups then or something else? I know those two were huge. Kero huh... now I'm starting to see you as Tsuyu, the frog girl from My Hero Academia ahaha. Oh oh, talk to me in Japanese too, I need to practice... it's getting rusty," she rambles on and chuckles a little, already feeling comfortable as she too, sits up to watch the game which was about to start, the characters moving about in the loading screen. "I have no preference, either is fine~ and oooh I hope your teammates are good, the opponents look strong. You got this Kero!"
*sighs as I walk into the dorm and drops my duffle bag against the wall*
*yawns quietly as I wonder further into the dorm, making my way towards the kitchen*
@Cho Yiyeon ᴶᵃⁿᵍ ᵂᵒⁿʸᵒᵘⁿᵍ She couldn’t help but chuckle slightly at the question before thinking about how to answer. “I was an idol back in Japan for a few years. People remember me most for really liking frogs. Kero is frog, and ko from ‘Yuriko’, so everyone ended up calling me Keroko. Even my mum.” she chuckled slightly, shaking her head. “Yiyeon or Wonyoung? Ok! Which do you prefer?” she questioned before sitting up properly to allow the other girl to see the screen better. “Online yeah! See these three here? They’re my teammates for this game… and these four are the other team. You can see that we’re bluey-green, and they’re pink!”
@Uehara Yuriko ᴷᵉʳᵒᵏᵒ "Mhm, just phone games... it's not like I have a lot of time, anyway, hahaha. Oooh, Keroko? Why so?" she tilts her head, a little curious, before chuckling at the female's struggle with her name, waving it off with a hand. "It's Yiyeon. Or Wonyoung, whichever you prefer!" Leaning in, she watched the screen as the girl described over the game to her, holding up a finger for her to pause before shifting over a chair to sit down beside her bed, because it would be rude just to plop on someone else's bed herself, then focusing back on the colorful game again. "That actually sounds like fun! Are you playing with people online or...?"
@Cho Yiyeon ᴶᵃⁿᵍ ᵂᵒⁿʸᵒᵘⁿᵍ “Ah really? Just phone games?” Yuriko tilted her head before nodding. “Yeah, although most people tend to call me Keroko.” she chuckled. “They call you… Yi…” she furrowed her brow before shaking her head. “Sorry, I feel like I know your name but it’s not coming out of my brain.” she sighed slightly before looking at her switch again and moving so the other girl could see. “Well you play as a human squid thing, and you get lots of weapons. You have to cover the whole place in your paint colour to win. There’s other modes but that’s the most popular one!” she nodded as she spoke.
@Uehara Yuriko ᴷᵉʳᵒᵏᵒ "I see I see... I don't actually playing anything though, probably some puzzle games on my mobile phone. I prefer going out and doing things haha... you're Yuriko, right? Still getting confused between the names oops.." she smiles sheepishly, eyes hovering over the console that the other female held. "What's this Splatoon you are talking about? It sounds really interesting though, I don't mind watching you play!"
@Cho Yiyeon ᴶᵃⁿᵍ ᵂᵒⁿʸᵒᵘⁿᵍ Upon hearing someone else entering the room she looked up from her game, offering a smile and a wave to the other girl before grinning as she asked what she was playing. “Hi, I’m just looking through games.” she hummed slightly before nodding to herself. “I’m thinking of playing Splatoon though. Do you play anything?”
@Uehara Yuriko ᴷᵉʳᵒᵏᵒ Yiyeon came in soon after her schedule for an external photoshoot; she was still a trainee, but yet she was busy with many brands already starting to look for her, albeit small. But whatever it takes to get her name out, of course. Spotting one of the trainees starting on her game, she peeked in to give a wave, greeting her. "Hello hello~ what are you playing?"
Grinning to herself, Yuriko entered the dorm, taking her shoes off at the door and stashing them away in the cupboard before flopping onto her lower bunk and grabbing her Nintendo switch from under her pillow, turning it on and scrolling through the games.
