growing up, muse a and b promised each other that they would be together, achieve their dreams together, get married, have a family, and grow old together. they were young and in love, blinding them of the upcoming struggles they were to face. muse a spent years supporting muse b in every way possible, taking care of him so he could reach his full potential. muse a would prepare him his meals, take on extra jobs so he could focus on his studies. muse b would always tell her first of every news, good or bad. not too long after graduation, he proposed and they got married in that same summer.

despite landing the career of his dreams, it didn’t mean a happy fairytale ending for the couple. instead of being able to focus on their home and family, muse b spent long hours away at the office. even when he was at home, it was nights filled with tense silence as he ruminated about work. then there were the fights. eventually it all took his toll with muse a preparing for divorce. however, those plans were put on hold after muse b’s accident.

it was that accident that changed it all. muse b lost most of his memory, only remembering life before their wedding. he was back to his old optimist and loving self. muse a decided to hold off the divorce, wanting to help muse b. now as she spends time with muse b, she feels conflicted about the divorce as she’s reminded of the man she fell in love with. can things go back to what they once were? or will it all change as muse b regains his memory?

muse a ⠀ a seemingly stoic and cold-hearted army general who has dedicated their life to serving and protecting the royal family. Although coming from a non-noble house, muse a's family have served as protectors of the realm and have generally been in various positions of the army, a legacy that muse a has always dreamed of upholding. It hasn't come without it's trials and tribulations but muse a has proved themself worthy of their general status- the youngest ever- but things are about to get difficult when muse a starts to fall for one of the royal prince(ss').

muse b ⠀ is the 2nd/3rd in line prince(ss) of the royal family muse a has served for all these years. Although not the crown heir, muse b still represents their country and thus has a duty to uphold. If a female muse, muse b's parents are old fashioned and have been making preparations to marry her off to a neighbouring royal country. If a male muse, muse b's parents are still old fashioned however expect muse b to the commander of their army despite having no formal combat experience. Things start to get a little twisted when they meet muse a, a silent watcher who gives off dangerous vibes.

notes ⠀ i have a slight preference to be muse a as they are based off of a previous character of mine that i never got the chance to explore due to time and availability constraints. Muse A can also be a normal soldier rather then an army leader. Muse B is also up to the roleplayers personal interpretation as long as they remain a Royal and their family/country would disapprove of the relationship.

based off of the disney channel original movie, starstruck.

muse a is a world-class superstar, loved by many, hated by just as many. they are known to be a hearthrob, catching the hearts and love of many, including muse b's older sibling. muse b, however, has absolutely no interest in this celebrity as they see them to just be a raging with little to no talent, no emotion behind their work. it doesn't help that muse a has been running into problems with the paparazzi as of late, earning titles such as "spoiled brat" and "power-trip diva" and the like to their once pristine image.

when muse b's sibling drags them to muse a's "partner"'s birthday party where muse a is set to perform, muse a gets found out by the paparazzi and is forced to find a hiding place. however, when they leave, they accidentally run into muse b, injuring them enough where muse a has to take them to the hospital. there, a story unfolds of the two of them trying to get muse a back to their house without both of them being found out by the paparazzi and muse a's image being further ruined for being with someone who is not their partner.

what happens when the two of them start catching actual feelings for each other despite all the chaos around them, but the real world of muse a's fame gets in the way of their budding friendship and relationship?

you are jongin's ex-wife. the two of you were set up by your parents for an arranged marriage because they were both two big companies and two big rich families. this marriage arrangement wasn't set in stone until jongin was 18, and depending on your muse's age, the two of you were married before jongin graduated university. the two of you didn't live together for a while, but when jongin failed university before he graduated, both of your families suggested you live together until he went back to university. this part can be changed. jongin ended up failing university two more times so honestly whenever in that time is fine lol. the two of you became somewhat close as friends during this time, but no romantic feelings were developed (and if there was, it was one-sided).

jongin finally had enough with his family and moved away, breaking off your marriage and moving somewhere that no one would know. however, your were the only one who knew, since the two of you bumped into each other one day at an event in los angeles.

muse a is a royalty tasked with sealing away an ancient evil or just the stressors of the kingdom they run, not sure if they are capable of fulfilling the tasks they were given. muse b is the child of a long line of royal guards/knights/bodyguards, so its no surprise that they excel in their craft of protecting the royalty family. however, muse a does not want to be protected by muse b because of their own pride and because they do not want to admit weakness or vulnerability, or their mistakes.

this thread can go three ways. one way would be set in the original botw world, hyrule, with the chosen princess and the knight and all that. the other way would be a general fantasy world that can have similar elements but doesn't have to be necessarily set in hyrule, allowing for more worldbuilding. the last option is a modern royalty au where muse a is a modern day royal and muse b is a bodyguard. it's whatever you prefer!

muse b ⠀ The heir apparent of ____, a mid-sized nation that has managed to stay out of Muse A's home country's world domination plan due to their ownership of the Crystal(a holy treasure that grants protection to ____ and also magic to the royal bloodline aka Muse B), Muse B is best friends/romantic/etc with Muse A, however what are they to do when they find out Muse A is actually the enemy?

note : i originally wrote this as a final fantasy xv inspired plot with muse a filling in the role of prompto and muse b filling in the role of noctis. if that's of interest to you, hmu!

muse a and muse b had been working together for a while, helping people find love. their dynamic was perfect for their job - muse a's outgoing and charming personality balanced muse b's analytical and reserved nature. as they worked together, they began to develop feelings for each other, but they were both too afraid to express them.

one day, muse a and muse b received an interesting client request. it was from a guy who had been in love with his best friend for years, but had never mustered the courage to tell her. muse a and muse b took on the challenge, and began to work on a plan to help their client. as they start to get closer to the client's best friend, muse a realized that they had seen her somewhere before. suddenly, it him them - their client's best friend was muse a's ex, whom they dated years ago and the break up had left them heartbroken.

would this affect muse's a ability to help their client? would muse a and muse b be able to successfully complete this operation?

everyone knew about their feelings for one another — it was clear, even to people who met them for the first time. however, there were torn opinions. some thought what they shared was secret affection while others thought they shared animosity and disdain. all that didn't matter to their parents who had them betrothed. if muse a wanted to inherit the throne, they had to marry muse b so now it was up to muse a to convince muse b that their marriage was one that would benefit both parties.

muse b ⠀ is somebody of extreme fame/important(think like... Michelle Obama level political status or even literal royalty) who, after narrowly avoiding an assassination attempt, is put under locky and key; much to their chagrin. muse b really does not like being watched constantly and is pre consistent with their attempts to sneak out or drive away their latest bodyguard by acting like a total e. too bad their new bodyguard is a hottie mchottie and ain't going nowhere :')
