@park seonghwa ᵈᵉᵐᵒⁿ [ sorry I’m on vacation;; late reply]
The smell of cigarettes and stall beer filled his nose to the brim, the mall that once flourished many decades ago was not but a hollow shell of the once thriving centre point for capitalism. Money and laughter once filled these stores and now it was filled with punk teenagers and druggies trying to keep out of the cold. The undercity was once again the rotten appendage of society and San once again wondered why he remained a resident of the area.
He had enough money to go wherever he wanted, and yet he remained. This place was his home and no matter where he went he would always be from here. He would always be that street rat with hopes and dreams that diminished over time. It wasn’t until the kids left that he suddenly heard his name and who does he see… the oh so famous Seonghwa. “Come to partake in the world of blinding euphoria?” He asked as he turned and took a step closer toward the man before he smiled in his usual mischievous way. “ or do you suddenly have a crush on me? Hm?”
@choi san ˢᵒʳᶜᵉʳᵉʳ Money. So much money. When Seonghwa had accepted his latest job, he had honestly been quite surprised by the reason behind the target. A drug overdose, huh? Interesting. And his target was a sorcerer. Seonghwa wasn't scared at least. He was too old to be scared of a sorcerer of all beings. But, he had heard the name before - Choi San. He supposed that the money made sense then, big target, big money.
Seonghwa knew at least that the sorcerer frequented the undercity area. He wouldn't have been surprised if they had walked right by one another in the streets before. Either way, the demon had been tracking and following the sorcerer's traces for about a week. He could have taken less time but he liked to mess around with his clients sometimes. Anyways, what was the fun in getting the job done so quickly?
But, even the demon's patience had its limits. So Seonghwa made his way down to the empty mall, a place full of teens and the rendezvous point for many small groups. It was the perfect place for someone like Choi San, the sorcerer who sold potions and drugs, separately and mixed together. That was the reason the demon's client had even hired him.
Seonghwa stood off to the side, against the window of one of the many abandoned store fronts. He watched on as the sorcerer was interacting with a group of very interested buyers. The demon was in no rush, and the sorcerer definitely knew he was there. He wasn't hiding or anything, and so he simply waited until they left the sorcerer alone. "Choi San?" he called out once they were alone.
